Legal aspects of the accession of Croatia to the European Union Abstract The EU enlargement policy is a fundamental instrument of the EU's foreign and security policy that enables Union to achieve its goals such as creating a common area of peace, stability and prosperity. Since the Western Balkans has experienced an armed conflict in the recent past and since these countries are direct neighbors of the European Union, the Balkan region represents an essentially important area in the strategic plans of the EU. The European Union as well as the Western Balkans' countries strives for the full integration into the European structures. In the context of the ongoing post-war reconstruction in the region Croatia's accession into the EU represents a significant historical moment. Croatia has already passed through the whole accession process and can act as a model example for other Balkan countries. In this thesis author mainly aims to map in detail the course of the accession process in general and understand the specifics of the Croatian accession in the context of the European policy towards Western Balkans. COMMON EU VISA POLICY AND THE RIGHT OF APPEAL AGAINST A VISA REFUSAL

This thesis deals with a description and analysis of the EU law and policy on Schengen visas. The EU visa policy is analysed in its historical development and its place in the framework of Schengen acquis. Separately, important visa policy measures are analysed including the typology of visas, exceptions from visa obligation, visa reciprocity, visa facilitation and processes of visa liberalisation. Different phases of the visa procedure are studied with focus on the questions whether there is a right to be issued a Schengen visa when the conditions are met and the right of appeal. The relevant legislation subject to analysis is above all the Visa Code, the regulation on visa lists and the relevant jurisprudence of the Court of Justice. By way of illustration, the implementation in the Czech legal order is used and jurisprudence of the Czech higher courts is quoted to show to what extent the EU visa procedure and visa refusal matches the requirements of the administrative law theory on the administrative procedure and decision in general. The regulation of asylum within the EU and its impact upon the regulation of asylum in the legal order of the CR

Resumé The Regulation of Asylum in the European Union and its Influence on the Regulation of Asylum in the Legal Sysem of the Czech Republic I decided to write this dissertation because I am interested in the issue of asylum. I acquired practical experience in this field during a year of practice in the Organization for Aid to Refugees and during an internship of several months in the Prague branch of UNICEF. The goal I set for my dissertation is to map and summarize asylum policy in the European Union and in which manner the asylum policy of the EU has influenced the asylum policy of the Czech Republic and the extent of this influence. From its beginnings to today, the Czech Republic has gone a long way in the field of asylum. Today, asylum law in the Czech Republic is regulated in a rather complex manner; however, one might pose the question of how effectively this has been done, whether this law is examined from the point of view of state organs or from the point of view of the applicants for asylum themselves. Geocaching and its commercial use

This thesis aims to suggest the commercial use of geocaching in the Czech Republic, based on marketing situation analysis for the area of options. The first part of this thesis investigates theoretical basics of geocaching and its commercial use, strategic marketing and marketing research. The next part processes several case studies regarding the campaign of some subjects who have already used geocaching. For example, from foreign countries, it is Timberland and Chrysler Jeep, and from the Czech Republic, it is Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen or a project like Stratocaching. Finally, analysis of the market and of the tools of the subject's marketing communication is used to make a suggestion for the commercial use of geocaching. Based on previous findings, it is suggested in detail for the project Museum Fotoateliér Seidel to create two caches with a theme of photos by Josef and František Seidel, in which it would be parts of the set.

Consumer behaviour on the market with remanufactured cartridges

The main purpose of my bachelor work was to analyse consumer behaviour on the market with remanufactured cartridges and evaluate the current exploitation of the marketing tools in chosen corporation. Then on the basis of this analysis suggest some improvements. For making up this work I have used the study of expert literature as well as the collection of primary sources. I have obtained the primary sources by carrying out the questionnaire investigation. I have compiled the information acquired by the investigation into graphs and tables so that the results were well-arranged. In addition I have analysed the graphs in words. The second task of this thesis was to analyse the current exploitation of the marketing tools in ARMOR, s. r. o. and then suggest some improvements based on obtained information.
