Influence of activities of life of seniors

This thesis is focused on the review of senior people's activities in the Czech Republic. It finds out and explains the reason why elderly people are interested in some special activities and why it is important for them to be involved. This thesis consists of two main parts; the theorethical part and the practical part. The theoretical part features a list of important ideas and definitions by diffrent authors. Both institutional activites and extra institutional activites were selected. I describe several model situations that are related to the institutional activities, that are presented by the certain cases in some institutions and by my practical experiences. I recognise that many institutions provide different activities that are presented like therapeutical activities but there are no professional staff to provide them. Because of that, I divided activities into the therapeutical and the nontherapeutical. I also mention some examples of extra institutional activities that are presented for example, by senior education, hobby groups, exercise activities etc. The practical part is focused on healthy activities, especially on the senior's voluntary work for the project "Senior to seniors".
