Control the model car
Martykán, Lukáš ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with applications for tablets running Android to control the car. As a control unit is used Raspberry Pi with Edimax WiFi module. The practical part focuses on the realization of applications for tablet and board layout for switching lights.
Central control system of the smart house
Novotný, Jan ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The work deals with building controlling system. It can be divided into three parts. First part describe general theory of smart houses. Second part analysing the task. Last part is realization about.
Intelligent frequency changer with soft-start feature
Ondrák, Jan ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The project deals with frequency changer, which of the three-phase power network 230 V~ 50 Hz or three-phase power network 400 V~ 50 Hz mains frequency changed to another frequency. This device will be used for three-phase asynchronous motor 400 V~ power of 1 kVA at a frequency of 50 Hz mains.
Smart hydrogen sensor
Kašpárek, Petr ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to get familiar with organic sensors developed at the Faculty of Chemistry at Brno University of Technology. The outcome is the implementation of smart hydrogen detector which is based on use of these sensors. This device will allow to test and use relevant sensors outside the test apparatus placed in the laboratory of the Faculty of Chemistry at Brno University of technology.
Push-Pull switched power supply with symetric outputs
Burda, Petr ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
Laboratory push – pull switching power supply with symetrical output 2x0-30 V/5 A, primarily through adjustable controls (buttons, rotary encoder position) and then displayed on the alphanumeric LCD display. Management and communication device between the user and the power supply of the microcontroller ATmega32 - 16PU.
CNC milling machine driving interface
Mitáš, Daniel ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This project deals with portal-type CNC milling machine design and construction. CNC milling machine should be able to machining light metals and alloys. This document contains description of mechanical components selection, machine frame design and building, design and construction of USB motion control unit and also contains control software description and user manual.
Low-power internet server
Dohnal, Petr ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this work is to describe the basic mechanisms of memory management and access to peripherals via EBI at the ARM9 microcontroller family. It is a solution for connecting physical ethernet interface, SD / MMC card to the device and design a development kit with the ability to connect a hard or SSD drive. The second part is aimed at operating system Linux, its modification for the ARM9 family of microcontrollers and installing software packages.
Voltage and current reference sources
Skalický, Pavel ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The topic of the master´s thesis are voltage and current reference sources. There is detailed description of current and voltage references, which are basic building blocks of many analog circuits, in the theoretical part. Next part of the master´s thesis is the design of a voltage reference source, the design of a voltage reference generating two voltages and a current reference source. The correct function of all circuits have been verified using simulations, especially dependence of the output voltage or current on supply voltage or dependence of the output voltage or current when the ambient temperature is changed.
Design and realisation of the five-levels quantizator
Zeman, Pavel ; Háze, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The work deals with design and realisation of the five-levels high-speed quantizer using switched-current technique (SI). The main aim is to use an advantage of switched-current technique like potential of the high-speed operation and to minimize disadvantages at all. Flash structure of the quantizer is used to ensure high-speed operation. It is supposed that the quantizer will be part of greater integrated systems such as higher-order delta-sigma modulators. Simulations are performed in CADENCE simulation tool using AMIS CMOS 0,7 µm technologic process.
Secured control system
Kubáň, Michal ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the design of a small hydro secured control system. The secured control system itself belongs to the Fault Tolerant Systems category. At first the requirements on small hydro control system are discussed. Then the introduction into the basics of Fault Tolerant System theory is given. The requirements on small hydro control system and basics of Fault Tolerant Systems are basis for specification of secured control system which design and construction is the main objective of this work.
