The idea of home of homeless and its reality on area of town Pilsen

(in English): The diploma thesis is focusing on reality of homelessnes. It is supposed to be some kind of a probe into the life of homeless people. The main goal of this thesis is to chart the reality and idea of home of the homeless. Also to find out how they live, what relations they have with their families and with each other and last but not least, what are their hopes for future. The thesis is divided into theorethical and practical parts. In the theoretical part of it the main concepts are desribed. The reader is presented with evolution, typology, main causes of homelessnes and also with problems which homless people are facing daily. The last part is focused mainly on help for homeless. Practical part is focused on research itself, which implemented with semistructured interviews answered by 15 homeless people. The facts concerning mainly the idea of stable accomodations were determined within the research survey.
Social risk phenomena and their esponse to the approach of working with clients Shelter Speramus

The presented bachelor thesis analyzes a social phenomenon named the homelessness. The thesis focus on the problem as a whole and subsequently describes a social service, which tries to deal with this social problem. The thesis also describes the process in composition of users of the homeless shelter named Speramus in the city Liberec. The quantitive research explores the development of social pathologic occurrence, which brings new ways of dealing with homelessness in the shelter. Attitudes of the Public and Students of Helping Profession towards Homeless People

This bacherol thesis is devided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The work is focused on public attitudes towards homeless people. The theoretical part deals with the definition of homeless and homelessness, causes of homelessness, its forms. The thesis also deals with homelessness in the Czech Republic, prevention of homelessness, social work with homeless and attitudes towards the homeless. The practical part includes research in the form of questionnaire. This questionnaire was given to students of helping professions. The results of this survey are also stated. Possibilities of reduction of a risk of reoffending via probation activities

An Abstract The dissertation is devoted to criminal recidivism terms of probation officers who work daily with offenders, who were imposed an alternative punishment. The theoretical part is focused on explanation of restorative and retributive justice and probation and mediation service in the Czech Republic but also in England and Germany. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes a description of the factors that influence the criminal behavior of the offender with an emphasis on social - cultural factors. In the last part of the theoretical work is defined criminal recidivism itself, its basic layout, types, and also statistics of recidivism in the Czech Republic and penitentiary and post-penitentiary care. The practical part contains qualitative research made with the help of interviews with probation officers. The aim of the research part of the thesis is to find out what Probation and Mediation Service employees themselves think about the possibilities of reducing recidivism through probation work with criminals and also what is the probation employees opinion of the actual criminal recidivism.
Role of social worker in hospitals in contact with homeless.

The aim of this thesis is to describe and investigate the problem of the target group - the homeless, particularly when such a person gets to the hospital and the role of social worker in this situation. Then, this work describe the overall health of homeless people in the Czech Republic. The base of the practical part, are interviews and questionnaires with the homeless and interviews with the expert in the field - social workers in the hospitals and probation officers. Dealing with homelessness in the capital city of Prague - is current social service system enough to satisfy homeless people?

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of people without a regular dwelling in terms of social service administration in Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of a general description of homelessness and explanation of the current model of provided services. It also mentions non-governmental organizations providing social care for the homeless in Prague and describes the help from the state administration. The next part explores 2 conceptions focused on tackling homelessness and discusses how they are currently met. It was also necessary to mention foreign experience of solving this problem. Interdisciplinary cooperation is an important chapter because homeless care is not only based on the provision of outpatient services, such as food, hygiene, clothing, or on the provision of residential services. Cooperation with other actors such as physicians (psychiatrists, dentists, gynecologists) is also necessary for the services to be provided comprehensively and to be able to respond to all the needs of the homeless. The research part maps the sufficiency of the services for the homeless people from their point of view and tries to find out what services they lack in Prague. Analysis of Practical Implications of Changes in Family Law Introduced by §655 - §975 of the Civil Code.

(in English) This bachelor thesis deals with new legal regulations of Family Law listed in new Civil Code Act No. 89/2012Coll.in force from 1. 1. 2014 with it simplifications for the practice of Social and Legal Protection of Children departments. According to this new act the preceding Act No. 94/1963 Coll. concerning the Family, which has regulated Family Law, and Act No. 40/1964 Coll. on the Civil Code, are abolished. Hypothesis: This breakthrough change in our legislation influences Fundamentals of Family Law and current administrative a juridical practice. Aim: analyse new Family Law regulated by articles nos.655 to 975of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., compare the legislations with Act No. 94/1963 Coll., evaluate the expected impact on people concerned, as indicated by the abolishment of Act No. 94/1963 Coll., and identify the impact on proceeding and practice in departments of Social and Legal Protection of Children. The social exclusion of displaced persons measurement possibilities

The thesis is engaged in possibilities of displaced persons social exclusion measurement. The first chapter contains definitions of terms used in the thesis. The following chapter comprises abriged and modified translation of methodology manual of Indicators of poverty and social exclusion, so-called Laeken indicators. In the third chapter there is described role of the Czech Statistical Office from the perspective of Law on State Statistic Service and in relation with homelessness. The next chapter describes history of homelessness, its typology and several aspects of different social science disciplines. The last chapter describes selected social transfers provided in the Czech Republic and designed tool for measurement of social exclusion.
