Thesis Theme is a newly built hotel in Horni Mala Upa. The building is divided into hotel operations and restaurants. The building is surrounded by gently sloping terrain. The building has three floors. The building is designed from Porotherm and ceiling of reinforced concrete structures prestressed hollow core slabs Spiroll. Construction of pitched roof trusses formed with an inclination of 20 degrees.

The theme of bachelor´s thesis is new-building detached house with service in Hronov. The service is car repair for the homeowner. The building is set in slighty sloping terrain. It has an aboveground floor and one undeground. The building is designed of system Porfix and ceiling construction of reinforced concrete structures. The roof strukture is a aisle roof with inclined 12 and 9 degrees.

Valuation of the company Jan Becher - Karlovarská Becherovka, a. s.

The aim of the Master´s Thesis is the valuation of the company Jan Becher - Karlovarská Becherovka, a.s. at market value to 31. 12. 2014. The first parts of the thesis acquainted with the purpose of the valuation and with the valued company. Then follows financial analysis, where is analyzed financial health of the company and the premise of going concern. Strategic analysis and prognosis of sales of the company, which is based on the strategic analysis, follow. Then value generators are predicted and subsequently financial plan created. The final part of the thesis deals with the valuation of the company by method DCF Entity and also by market comparison method as the method of support.

Project management software - the situation in the Czech Republic

This thesis focuses on the evaluation of the current situation in the use of software for project management in the czech companies. The first part deals with general terms of project management and the description of the field at the theoretical level. The thesis is based on two types of questionnaire surfy (self-research, research by Ernst an Young company) assessed the current using of software in companies. Subsequently, the theory compares basic features of widely used software. Finally there is created a model project under which is examined work in these programs. The conducted survey shows that while 89% of companies in selected industries use project management software (Ernst and Young), so if we extend the survey to all disciplines of business, software usage falls to 44% (own survey). The results of this study allows reflection on the lack of promotion of the benefits of project management in the fields in which there is not existentially necessary to implement these methods.

Project management – comparison of education at the universities with respect to certification IPMA

The key term, which is a central piece of the present bachelor thesis, is project management. This study, that is steadily gaining in importance, has become an integral part of education in many of Czech universities. The core of the work is thus a comparison of education of project management on the selected institutions in our country. For obtaining some quantitative result that would compare the education I studied the percent coverage of the certificate IPMA level D in the chosen subjects. Therefeore the content of certificate has been divided according to elements of competences. The parts have been given a point evaluation according to their total number. Whenever possible, I tried to consult the precise content of the subject with the appropriate teacher. In other cases I relied on the syllabus of the subject on webpages of faculty. Except the comparison the work itself offers a necessary introduction to the issue and introduces the basic concepts. After introductory chapter, that briefly touches project management in general, follow chapters devoted to standards and certifications. With future purposes in mind, a special place is reserved for IPMA. In the last chapter other possibilites of preparation to the IPMA are mentiones. These we can understand as the official preparation to IPMA recommended by the organisation issuing certificate in Czech republic.

Thiol-ene-based monolithic microreactors

High variability in properties of thiol-enes makes them ideal material for microfluidic reactors. Surface functionalization can be carried using functional groups already present in the material and can be easily patterned thanks to UV-initiation. As the character of porogenic solvent, thiol-ene concentration, use of detergents, speed of stirring, etc., have influence on formation and properties of the resulting monolith, optimization of the procedure for its intended application is necessary.

Determinants of claim occurrence: case of Motor Third Party Liability insurance

In this paper the hypotheses related to individual variables used for segmentation of Motor Third Party Liability (MTPL) insurance by Czech insurance companies are tested. Summary of papers focused on this topic and development of insurance market segmentation in European Union are presented in the first part of this thesis. The first part of this paper is extended by the analysis of actual MTPL segmentation in Czech Republic. The estimation of marginal effects of exogenous variables on probability of occurrence a claim is described in empirical part. For the estimation of parameters I use the logistic regression. Specific models for small and large claims are created. The most significant variables positively correlated with probability of occurrence a claim are engine capacity, young age and region Prague. The most significant variables negatively correlated with probability of occurrence a claim are historical car, old age, number of months without any claim and region South Moravia. My results are compared to the results of other papers.

The aim of this thesis is to outline and describe strategic analysis, cost calculation and elaborate financial analysis of the company Grandhotel Zvon, Ltd. The crucial part of this thesis is financial analysis, which focuses on processing and subsequent evaluation of financial data and information on the company within five-year period. The first part of the thesis represents methodical base, it means a determination of the market situation, the hotel strategy, calculation method and primary the delimitation of financial indicators. The second part, practical part, deals with the application of the theoretical knowledge to the specific company. Standard financial ratios of profitability, liquidity etc. and also the typical hotel indicators are used in the financial analysis. The hotel indicators are used to compare with the competition.
