Impact of complex movement therapy on bone density in patients with osteoporosis

6 Abstract: Author: Radka Kubů Name of the thesis: Impact of complex movement therapy on bone density in patients with osteoporosis. Aim of the thesis: To prove a positive impact of physical training programme on bone density in patients with osteoporosis and to evaluate contribution of physical activity on success rate of osteoporosis treatment. Method: The thesis is based on the method of comparative experiment with the purpose to trace and prove a positive impact of the complex movement therapy on bone density at patients with diagnosed osteoporosis. The set of 25 women was divided into two groups, experimental and control ones. The research monitored parameters which were intentionally affected via controlled intervention in the experimental group. The method of the structured interview served for obtaining anamnestic data. The evaluation itself was carried out based on differences between both groups and within groups as well. Results have been processed in Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Results: Physical activity is an important part of therapy at patients with osteoporosis. The research proved that after 12 months of a complex movement therapy bone density is affected positively. Influence of handball on the shoulder girdle state

Title: Influence of handball on the shoulder girdle state. Goal of the project: Examine and evaluate of functional condition of shoulder joints of young handball players on various player positions between input and output investigation. Suggestion of strengthening and stretching exercises for the area of shoulder girdle and finding if the exercises has some influence on the shoulder point as well as on the player performance. Method: We made comparison of input and output test results by the method of "kvasiexperimental" qualitative study. A modified questionnaire was given to each player before input investigation. Based on the questionnaire we learned deviations from the function, eventually the pain in the area of shoulder joint. After input investigation strengthening and stretching exercises of the shoulder girdle for 13 handball players on the various player positions in the youth team of Dukla Prague were suggested. Results: Results of the investigation of shoulder girdles in the group of handball players did not prove large number of subjective symptoms in the sense of pain and limitation. Title ofthesis : Cryotherapy is oppurtunity for the regeneration ofsportsmen Goal of the project : To map and compare information of c:ryotherapy center and places that provide c:ryotherapy application in the Czech Republic. Ifthere is a regulary and properly train information of cold effect for body and prove to provide. On the basis ofthis is determination the quality of information giving to clients and experience ofsportsmen clients at information about influence of cold and this procedure. To find out how the method is used and whether are conditions an fulfiled. Metb.ods :For research I use an exploratory method.The collection of dates was executed by public inguiry and guestionnaires PO:tv1S. The getting dates of particular items was evaluated by qualitative method. Results : This reseach charted cryotherapy centres in the Czech Republic. There was established professional skill specialists served in each of all questionnairy cryotherapy centres. However safety ofthe clients is provided in part only. The clients should have to udergo medical examinations. But these ones are not realised in some of them. The results of this rescach ís cryotherapy centres and sportsmen are deficienty ínformation. Regeneration - possibilities and utilisation at assault police units

Goals: Goals of this thesis was to determine informedness and exploitation of the regeneration procedures at the assault police units in Czech Republic and eventually in foreign special units. Next goal was deeper and more comprehensive review about possible regeneration procedures. With aim to document these newly obtained informations and present them to the police units as trustworthy for next use. This part was aimed to ease the access to the policemen to the informations in this area, to outline the advantages and encourage them to the use of the regeneration procedures, to protection of health and for increase the effectiviness of the preparation for their demanding work. Method: For determination of the use of regeneration procedures at police assault units we have used questionare method. Questionare has been sent to the seven assault police units in Czech republic and to the four foreign special units in European Union countries. Results: Results shows that most demanding activity is physical training, most frequent injuries are injuries of the extremities and joints. Mostly used regenaration procedures are sauna and massage. The Compensational program for volleyball

3 ABSTRACT Title: The compensational program for volleyball Main purpose: Learning about volleyball, explanation of individual game activities. To inform about various possible problems and injuries by playing volleyball. Explanation why is the compensational training so important. Creating a model of compensational unit for volleyball players. Observation of muscular disbalances' changes on volleyball players and their evaluation. Methodology: Empirik resharch koncipient as kvaziexperiment. This model was created based on 10 women volleyball players examination. There was the compensational program established under the circumstances of this examination. It is composed of relaxation, stretching and boosting training of the most affected muscular groups. The program has been applied for 6 months. The spine testing became the main method of the whole examination. It is composed of statik and dynamic part and the examination focused on shortening and flagging muscular groups. Results: This thesis confirmed that there are particular muscular disbalances among women volleyball players, which could be adjusted by the compensational training. The Muscle Disbalances of Ice Hockey Players in the Youth Category

The Muscle Dysbalances ofIee Hockey Players in the Youth Category Object: to find out what kind ofmuscle dysbalance do ice hockey players have, how severe are the symptons, and to treat dysbalance by using compensational exercises. Metbod: kvazieexperiment - we examined group of selected ice hockey players in the age of 8 to 1Oyears. We analysed funcional condition of each individua} based on the posture examination by Jaroš-Lomíček and Mattias. After eight months of compensational exercise program we identified the stage of improvement. In questionaire we inquired about all of the kinds of sports the players do. We were interested if they practise some other sports as well or ifthe ice hockey is their only activity. Results: preliminary measurements of all individuals showed different stages of muscle dysbalance that correspond to the game character, to usage of specific muscle groups and inadequate compensation.
