Ir !ntroduction Environmenta| impaď caused by mining is considerab|e' The impact of mining on re|ief and landscape character is particularly substantial as could be documented on earth material transfer. While transfer of earth material caused by natural processes (erosion, sedimentation) is about 4 millions of cubic meters per year, anthropogenic transfer is close to 330 millions (Kukal' 2006) and material transfer due to mining represents the greatest proportion' lt is estimated that the surface minera| extraďion already covers 1% of the |and surface (Wa|ker & del Moral 2003). |n the czech Republic the extent of mining sites reached 0,8% in 2006 (Statistical Environmental Yearbook of the Czech Republic 2008). Analysis of administrative management in conservation focusing on protected trees in Chrastava (Czech Republic) and its surroundings
Štochl, Štěpán ; Skalický, Milan (advisor) ; Novák, Jan (referee)
The first work theme was a description of an administrative procedure in the process of a protected trees approval. First it was necessary to set up legal viewpoints for the possibility to announce a protected tree. Next it is mentioned what is the reason to announce the protected tree and what is the procedure of a protected tree announcement proposal. It is described how to keep a record of the announced protected trees, how to mark them and what is the way to reach a care measures permission. The possible preservative care measures that are, except for cutting, the most important part of the old trees care are also explained . Next work theme is an analysis of the foreign system of a protected tree approval and announcement. From the historical point of view there is one of the widest base and the highest number of old trees at all in Great Britain and so it is possible to assume that the quality of tree preservative care is better than in our country. Speciffically the legislation of England, the law Tree Preservation Order, was chosen for these purposes. A comparison of both systems, Czech and English, was made. The systems do not differ much on a number of counts, for example in terms of tree value judging, a protected tree announcement proposal, a request and a care measures permission. The main difference is the 6 month long temporary tree preservation that can be used in the extreme cases as a protection against building companies and developers. Next part is devoted to the project of saving gene pool of protected trees. It describes the results and informs about the progress. The last part of the work was the documentation of protected trees in Chrastava and surrounding administrative region. 11 protected trees were evaluated, measured and photoed. The data acquired by this documentation will serve as completion of information about these trees in the Nature Conservation Central Register.

Suková, Hana ; Skalický, Milan (advisor) ; Novák, Jan (referee)
The theme of this thesis is the documentation Nature Park Džbány - Žebrák. The aim of this work is its field documentation, which is focused on peak Džbány, wooded ridge top Žebrák, Kališťské louky and Louky u Budenína. At the same time it will also cover the biodiversity of individual sites. This thesis consists of two parts, namely the theoretical and the practical. The introduction of the theoretical part is devoted to the Nature Park Džbány - Žebrák, both its history - that his legal establishment - and its very definition. Subsequently, the conditions for the protection of the park will be described. In general, then I will mention the management of the nature parks. This theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which in the beginning will focus on vegetation of Nature Park Džbány - Žebrák and its characteristics. Here I will build mainly on the fieldwork research of Ochrana fauny ČR, which was carried out during the years 2007 to 2010. This is completed by my knowledge of the field documentation, which I made from 19 to 21 April 2014 and from 19 to 20 July of the same year, led by the manager of the micro-region Ing. Eliška Melicharová. After characterizing the natural vegetation of the park a part of the work is also devoted to botanical inventory of Nature Park Džbány -- Žebrák, which was performed in the already mentioned research of Ochrana fauny ČR. Naturally, neither mammals, nor amphibians, nor birds, which occur in Nature Park Džbány - Žebrák, will be left out. The work also focuses on the economy of the micro-region Džbány, which I consulted with Ing. Eliška Melicharová on 25 October 2014 and with Miloš Tomeš, the chairman of Družstvo Džbány, in early 2015.
