Comparison of GMAW and Plasma Welding
Nejedlý, Tomáš ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
Developed thesis compares MAG welding and plasma welding, with the same input parameters. Based on the literature was reviewed weldability and welding of both methods. It was experimentally for both technologies specifically designed heat input, evaluation and macrostructure of the weld dilution, the dimensions of the heat affected zone and finally test the hardness in the transverse direction Vickers.
History of ferrous alloys manufacture in the Foundry of ŽĎAS, a. s.
Nejedlý, Tomáš ; Pernica, Vítězslav (referee) ; Šenberger, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis describes the history of modern age of steel production in Ţďár region, and the history of metallurgical engineering company ŢĎAS. The work is divided into the theoretical part of the steel production on electric arc furnaces along with brief history from steel production in bloomery furnace to the modern steel manufacturing technology - secondary metallurgy. The second part describes the history of steel production in Ţďár region until the formation of metallurgical engineering company ŢĎAS, and consequently the company development from the construction to the present day. The thesis are focused on the development of secondary metallurgy by which the ŢĎAS company can reach the steel with high level of micro cleanness and high level of mechanical properties. Using by this technology the company can extend its product range by introducing new steel grades. Thanks to the continuous progress and efforts to achieve the best results in steel quality, the ŢĎAS company be among the largest producer of quality steel not only in the Czech Republic.
Dynamic time warping for biological signal processing
Nejedlý, Tomáš ; Švrček, Martin (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
This project deals with recognition of biosignals. The proposed recognition system REC-DTW processes electrocardiografic signals (ECG) by algorithm based on Dynamic time warping (DTW). DTW allows to evaluate difference between testing signal and control signal, which do not have be of the same lengths. The sensitivity of recognition is 82,5%.
Wireless security device
Nejedlý, Tomáš ; Prokopec, Jan (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This project deals with design and study wireless security device. This device works in ISM band, created by two modules handling secure subject. Microprocessor AVR from company Atmel provides communication between these modules.
Development of HPLC methods for analytical evaluation of drug products and model studies of natural degradation of drug residues.

Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis Candidate Mgr. Tomáš Nejedlý Supervisor prof. RNDr. Jiří Klimeš, CSc. Title of Doctoral Thesis Development of HPLC methods for analytical evaluation of drug products and model studies of natural degradation of drug residues The presented doctoral thesis describes two areas of pharmaceutical analysis. The first part is focused on development of validated chromatographic methods for pharmaceutical-analytical assesment of drug products and their rutine use in quality control laboratories. The second part deals with the very actual topic of environmental analysis and residues of pharmaceutical substances in sewage and surface water. The first developed method is suitable for quality evaluation of cream dosage forms containing aciclovir active substance. This method is suitable for assay of active substance and its three related substances. In addition it is validated for assay of preservatives contained in cream base. The second chromatographic method is developed for determination of tablets containing 1 mg of risperidone antipsychotic drug per tablet. This method was validated for active substance assay and the four mostimportant pharmacopoeial impurities. The last method is...
Determination of the Biologically Active Substances using Liquid Chromatography XI
Nejedlý, Tomáš ; Pilařová, Pavla (advisor) ; Kastner, Petr (referee)
6 ABSTRACT Charles University in Praque, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradci Králové Department: Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control Candidate: Tomáš Nejedlý Tutor: Mgr. Pavla Pilařová Name of Degree Paper: Determination of the Biologically Active Substances using Liquid Chromatography XI The aim of this study was to find applicable method for separation and determination of main contaminations in medicines containing Aciclovirum as active substance. Used analytic method was High Performance Liquid chromatography with UV-VIS detection at 254nm. Separation was performed on column LiCroCART 250/4 LiChrospher 100, RP-18 (25cm x 4,6mm; 5µm). Mobile phase was based on proportions of acetonitrile and acetate buffer (pH4,5) in gradient mode. The final method was applied on Herpesin drm. crm. There was also determined the increase of contaminations after one hour of boiling Herpesin drm. crm. in water, HCl 1 mol.l-1 and NaOH 1 mol.l-1 . Key words: HPLC, chromatography, aciclovirum, Herpesin drm.crm.
Analýza korozní odolnosti svarových spojů
Nejedlý, Tomáš
The purpose of this paper is to analyze weld joints made with the use of the CMT method. Two separate kinds of weld joints were used: one joining two pieces of titanium and another joining titanium with stainless steel. The theoretical part of this paper summarizes the basics of the CMT welding method and its modifications, the corrosion of metals, the tests used to determine the properties of the materials, the preparation of the metallographic cut and more detailed information on the materials used. The experimental part of this paper follows, dealing with precise specifications of the welding process, the materials and the conditions under which the subsequent tests were taken. Half of the samples undertook test in a salt corrosion chamber in order to determine the damage caused to the weld by the corrosion and to compare the results with the samples not exposed to the increased corrosive environment. Following that comes the evaluation part, where the results obtained from the tests undertaken are analyzed with the focus on the resulting formed, the strength test and the hardness of the weld and its surroundings.

Využití metalografie ve strojírenství
Nejedlý, Tomáš
This thesis focuses on practical use of metallography in machine engineering. First part devotes to the technical material characteristics, their chemical composition and its application in machine engineering. This chapter also includes the issue of internal defects and practical demonstrations of internal microstructure. The following section describes the metallographic samples preparation. Phases are sorted chronologically according to their nature and technological process. Significant part of this chapter focuses on the final procedures of metallographic samples treatment, namely the polishing and etching. Major impact on phase structures image quality is the proper chemical composition of the etchant. Final part of the thesis describes the principle and nature of the light and electron microscopy. Based on the approach of image analysis the macroscopic but also lattice defects can be determined considering the selected magnification.
