Disparity in the Sphere of Tourism in the Central Bohemian Region

The work deals with regional disparities that play a key role in regional development process. Regional disparities are a major problem of regional development because they cause an uneven regional development. This work focuses specifically on disparities in tourism and it looks for suitable indicators to do a research on these disparities in the Central Bohemia Region. In this work, tourism figures as an instrument of regional policy for developing the region and, if possible, to reduce the regional disparities. Disparities in tourism are primarily characterized as spatial disparities that are mainly determined by indicators of transport infrastructure, natural environment and the potential for tourism. Using selected indicators of the indicators above, this work assesses the disparities of tourism in the Central Bohemian Region and it recommends some ways to reduce these disparities.

EU trade with developing countries

The aim of my bachelor's thesis was to evaluate the development of trade between the EU and developing countries. At the beginning I was paid to defining the concepts, such as the European Union, International trade, Developing countries, and more. Furthermore, using data collected on EU trade, I evaluated the development in 2004-2008 and the trade volume in 2008.

In theoretic part of bachelor I define term soft skills, point out their importance generally for human, specially for students (graduates) as future job candidates and describe constituent soft skills. The goal of practical part this work is map situation in soft skills by students 1st and 3rd year bachelor, attendance study and find out, if they have during their study ample opportunity for progress soft skills and if they feel improvement at the end 3rd year in this sphere.

A Regional Travel Agency's Operations

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare the existence, role and activities of travel agencies in the Czech Republic dealing incomming and domestic tourism in a particular region. The work focuses on the region of South Bohemia, which is below further defined. The main method for this analysis is the research of catalogs and Web sites of travel agents and agencies, which operate in the region. Information about services and products offered are further examined in the sub-analysis according to various aspects.

The work is devoted to developments in the tourism market. It is an analysis of all the major Czech travel agencies in terms of number of owners and their share of tourism organizations. It is possible to compare, including the turnover for the last 3 years and current developments. Core objective was to determine who are the owners of travel agencies. Whether the Czech and foreign firms. The observed data used to determine the probable development of the tourism market and identify current trends in this area.

The Market and Public Sector in Developing Countries

In the aim of my bachelor's thesis was discovering extent of the public and the private sector in The Least Developed Countries. At first, I was dealing with clarification of basic concepts and with definition of signpots, which helped me to discover extend of sectors. On the base obtained information I came to the conclusion, that the private sector had larger extent than the public sector. This conclusion applied to all three countries, Ethiopia, Nepal and The Czech Republic.

Preservation of Consumer in the Conditions of the European Union

This work analyzes the level of preservation of consumer in the conditions of the European Union. It is focused on the legislation of selected services in tourism and its observance. The work shows aspects and norms which must be held because of preservation of consumer. The analysis shows high level of preservation of consumer. In the next years is expected the improvement of the business conditions in fly industry. There is also an expectation of the improvement of consumer environment and further development of this sector.
