Graciasová, Jitka ; Mudrochová, Radka (advisor) ; Kučerová, Magdalena (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with English loanwords that were integrated into French during the past 5 years and became a part of metalinguistic corpus. The practical part is dedicated to classification of loanwords codified in the given metalinguistic corpus and deals with their perception by native speakers. Suldovská, Klára ; Šuman, Záviš (advisor) ; Mudrochová, Radka (referee)
This thesis treats the oldest method of graphic dance notation system - so-called Beauchamp- Feuillet's dance notation. I will explain the circumstances of its origins, the basic rules, the principles of its writing and reading, the literary and historical value and the later reception. The core of my work will be a translation of Feuillet's major work, Orchesography Or, the art of dancing, which is besides the Pierre Rameau's writings considered the basic guide and sort of a handbook dealing with the description of dance. Also the later authors based their works on Feuillet. I will certainly deal with the literary and language point of view of the book. The differences among particular editions, for example, are worth the study. In the second part of my work I shall describe how the dance - that we can reconstruct nowadays predominantly thanks to the Beauchamp-Feuillet's notation - was put on stage in some dramas at the court of Louis XIV and what was its role. Keywords Baroque dance, Orchesography, Feuillet's dance notation, la belle danse

Use of the Pronoun « ça » in Spoken French
Pavlovičová, Denisa ; Nádvorníková, Olga (advisor) ; Mudrochová, Radka (referee)
This thesis deals with the use of a demonstrative pronoun "ça" in contemporary spoken French; especially in regard to its referential and syntactical function. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the pronoun and summarizes its use in specific syntactical structures. In addition, it defines the pronoun in contrast to pronouns with similar functions; particularly the pronoun "cela" which is considered to be a full standard form of the pronoun "ça". Moreover, the thesis pays attention to reference of a spoken, mostly French, language and its specifics. The empirical part draws from two corpora in order to analyse the occurrences of the pronoun "ça". The first one, Europarl, focuses on a pseudo-spoken argumentative type of speech and the second one, CLAPI, focuses on a spoken spontaneous speech. The analysis aims to identify various empirical and referential uses of the pronoun "ça" in the given corpora. The aim of this thesis is to show how the choice of the language register influences the use of "ça" in modern language. The final part of the thesis presents a questionnaire that was given to French speakers with the intent to find out whether there might be some instances in which the pronoun is considered as irreplaceable, even in standard French.

Within the theory of functional sentence perspective we will describe the differences between the syntax of these three languages which imply the use of different linguistic resources to connect the language utterance to the context and also to emphasize one constituent of the sentence. One of the aims of this thesis is to find and describe actually used translations of this structure from French language to Czech language and to Spanish language, their variability, frequency depending on the type of text and last but not least, other factors affecting the choice of the translation.
