Tools for Automatic Creation of Presentations
Uherčík, Maroš ; Minařík, Miloš (referee) ; Kadlček, Filip (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and implementation of tool for automatic presentation creation in OOXML format. Work contains theoretic analysis of the OOXML format, focusing on presentation, analysis and design of tool and implementation description. Practical part of this work is implementation of designed tool. The final part shows obtained results, demonstration of tool usage and proposal of future works.
Grammatical Evolution in Software Optimization
Pečínka, Zdeněk ; Minařík, Miloš (referee) ; Sekanina, Lukáš (advisor)
This master's thesis offers a brief introduction to evolutionary computation. It describes and compares the genetic programming and grammar based genetic programming and their potential use in automatic software repair. It studies possible applications of grammar based genetic programming on automatic software repair. Grammar based genetic programming is then used in design and implementation of a new method for automatic software repair. Experimental evaluation of the implemented automatic repair was performed on set of test programs.
FITkit Music Synthesizer
Melichar, Vojtěch ; Minařík, Miloš (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with sound synthesis methods and with design of a synthesizer for FITkit platform. In the first part of the thesis, there are described methods of sound synthesis and the history of sound synthesis is also stated here. Next part contains a brief characteristic of sound chip SID 6581. In the next part of the thesis, there is a design of each part of the synthesizer: oscillator, envelope generator, voice and filter. Then, these components are put together to make up an synthesizer. Correctness of the implementation is verified by a simulation in ModelSim 6.6d. Individual components are simulated separately and then in mayor groups.
FPGA Platform with .NET Micro Framework Support
Matyáš, Jan ; Minařík, Miloš (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is to design a development board that may be used for embedded systems prototyping. The board's key parts are an ARM-Cortex-based microcontroller and a FPGA programmable circuit. The platform is designed with .NET Micro Framework support in mind. The thesis contains specifications of the development board, describes the design process as well as the task of .NET Micro Framework porting and the establishment of communication bus between the FPGA and microcontroller circuits. The thesis is concluded by a set of demonstration examples which outline how to develop new applications for the designed platform.
Creating Timetables Using Genetic Algorithms
Horký, Aleš ; Matoušek, Jiří (referee) ; Minařík, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains design and implementation of two-phase genetic algorithm intended for creating timetable schedules at primary schools. The algorithm is designed for maximum reduction of state space of solved problem without decrease of its universality. The implementated program in C++ language is applicable for creating timetable schedules at small and medium sized schools.
Information Extraction from Loosely Structured Text
Minárik, Matej ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Nowadays we are speaking about Web 2.0, which means the web of documents rather than the web of data. Documents are mostly unstructured, or just partially structured, but search engines need data in structured form in order to provide better search results. The process of extracting structured data from partially structured documents is the main goal of this work. In this work we are analyzing information extraction methods, namely classification methods, which need annotated training data, in order to create their inner model. We also analyze methods, which do not need training. These methods are initialized with a few data examples we are interested in extracting. We propose an extraction method in order to extract therapeutic indications and active substances from medical information sheets.
Recognition of Handwritten Mathematical Expressions by Neural Network
Šimeček, Josef ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Minařík, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis deals with recognition of handwritten mathematical expressions by neural network. Neural network, mathematical syntax, issues of handwritten mathematical expressions and existing mathematical expressions recoginition systems are described in theoretical part. Practical part includes my own proposal  of recognition system. Each part (step) of the system is analyzed in detail. Next part of thesis contains tests performed by implemented recognition system. The results are discussed and reviewed.
Reprap, 3D FDM printer
Minařík, Miroslav ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The essence of this bachelor’s thesis is describe RepRap, 3D FDM printer. First, the work is focused on presentation some posibilities of rapid prototyping and explain basic mechanics of FDM technology. In the second part, several types of RepRap printers are described and use 3D printer in practice.
A Tool for Visual Analysis of Circuit Evolution
Staurovská, Jana ; Minařík, Miloš (referee) ; Sekanina, Lukáš (advisor)
The main goal of the master's thesis is to compose a study on cartesian genetic programming with focus on evolution of circuits and to design a concept for visualisation of this evolution. Another goal is to create a program to visualise the circuit evolution in cartesian genetic programming, its generations and chromosomes. The program is capable of visualising the changes between generations and chromosomes and comparing more chromosomes at once. Several user cases had been prepared for the resulting program.
Autonomous Electronic Circuits Simulation Method
Minárik, Michal ; Konvalina, Jiří (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with a methodology of description of linear electrical circuits through the use of differential equations and autonomical method. It compares commom numerical methods with Taylor series method implemented in TKSL. It's focused on analysis of applicability of autonomical method to various circuits, complexity of circuit diagram transformation to system of equations and transcription to TKSL.
