A motivation of the Czech alternative and revisionist media to the revisionis activity

According to the annual report of the BIS from 2017, Czech republic is a target of Russian hybrid strategy. Alternative and disinformation media can be one part of this strategy, because of their spreading of propaganda and disinformation, which jeopardize strategic interests of the Czech republic. This diploma thesis has two main aims in this framework. The first aim is a description of the czech alternative and disinformation media scene in the context of Russian hybrid strategy. The second aim is to recognize motivations, which lead to this kind of revisionist activities. The first aim is based on the analysis of particular disinformation media in the context of information about Russian hybrid strategy and Russian strategic interests. The second aim is based on semi-structured interwievs with representatives of alternative media.

Foreign policy orientation of Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia in connection with Russia and in context of strategic interests of the Czech Republic

The main topic of this thesis is concerned on foreign policy program of Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, in the context of Czech and Russian strategic interests. From this point of view, this thesis is based on an assumption, that CPBM is supports Russian interests in international relations, which jeopardize Czech strategic interests. From the point of view of this thesis is this situation problematic mainly because of influence of Russian hybrid strategy, which is mentioned in the Annual report of BIS from 2017. This diploma thesis has two main aims in this framework. The first aim is a description of foreign policy orientation of CPBM and its development, in the context of hybrid threats. The second aim is to recognize motivations, which lead to this orientation of Communist Party. Official political documents of CPBM are the first source, political statements of representatives of CPBM in media are the second source and semi-structured interviews with Communist Party politicians are the third source.
