Bachelor's thesis project proposal addresses Gallery of Architecture in Brno – Cerna pole. The main theme is the expansion of public street space and the formation of new of pedestrian path by creating a new connection between Drobného and Čenopolní street. The purpose of the project is the cultural and architectural revival around Čenopolní street. The building itself is located inside the existing residential villa area of the thirties. Tthe shape is inspired by pre WWII modernism . The proposed gallery space of the street seems from street level like couple of separate buildings, with interconecting lower platform with a terrace and beautiful a view of Brno. The building contains a gallery with space for conferences and workshops, and a small cafe.

Brno - damlake

This thesis was elaborated as a project for building construction based on studio work from the second year. The subject of the work is a newly built restaurant and rooms with facilities for the public transport company in Brno. The building is located on gently sloping land situated near the surface of the Brno damlake. The area around the building is drafted as a public, primarily intended as the starting area for boat transportation.

Pricing process in maritime logistics

The master thesis focuses at the pricing process of FCL shipments between Europe and Asia. After the general process description of internal processes there are shown two concrete examples, one under EXW condition and the other one under DAP condition. At the same time the thesis present also the railway connection between Asia and Europe as a certain alternative to the maritime and airfreight transportation under some condition.

Specification of Short Sea Shipping and its use as an alternative to truck transportation

The goal of the thesis is to find out wether it's possible to consider short sea shipping as an adequate alternative to trucking. The thesis describes the specifics of Short Sea Shipping and its main maritime route. It also compares the advantages and disadvantages of short sea shipping and truck transportation. Furthermore the thesis assesses their economical aspects and the potential risks associated with these means of transport. The conclusion of the thesis recommends the suitable routes and comes up with other circumstances that should be considered while using Short Sea Shipping as a trucking alternative.

Selected legal aspects of Open Access

This presentation will focus on practical legal problems connected with the application of the Open Access practice to scientific papers. Attention will be mainly paid to the Creative Commons licenses and their use in OA, the legal aspects of building a green OA repository and legal issues of self-archiving. These issues will be addressed from the position of author, institution and commercial publishers. Theoretical discussions of the above mentioned problems will be supplemented by practical examples and experience from building OA repository at the Masaryk University.

Využití IT technologií pří zpracování zvuku

Práce analyzuje současné možnosti IT technologií pro záznam, zpracování a editaci informací v audio formě. Obsahuje obecný popis zvuku a jeho dělení. Jasnou a srozumitelnou formou popisuje metody pro zpracování zvuku. Porovnává analogové a digitální metody zpracování zvuku, popisuje jejich principy, věnuje se praktickému využití v modelových organizacích za současného zvažování ekonomického dopadu. Zabývá se problematikou archivace a distribuce zvukových dokumentů.

Práce popisuje obecnou charakteristiku finanční analýzy, její význam a postavení ve finančním řízení, její cíle, zdroje vstupních informací a uživatele. Dále práce popisuje metody a ukazatele finanční analýzy.Tyto metody jsou aplikovány na konkrétním příkladu, to je na výsledcích hospodaření společnosti Spokar a.s. Součástí práce je i mezipodnikové srovnání analyzované společnosti s vybranými společnostmi z odvětví a vyhodnocení tohoto srovnání.
