Mobile Application for Goal Planning
Bobula, Vladimír ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile application for goal planning. The application is designed for the Android system. The paper describes the basics of this system. Afterwards, the design of graphic user interface and database with the effort to use gamification is analysed. The implementation section explains parts of application as well as solutions of occurred problems. The last section contains a description of testing the application and its following publication via Google Play.
Juggling Patterns Visualization
Jašek, Roman ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Kajan, Rudolf (advisor)
This thesis deals with the known possibilities according to the 3D visualization of juggling patterns. It presents some of the libraries that may be used for this issue and the whole concept of juggling patterns and their notation. In the next part there is an analysis of existing software dealing with juggling patterns visualization. A chapter about designing and implementing graphical user interface follows. The next part contains a predesign of the applicatin itself using XNA framework. The last part of the thesis is aimed at creating an online page presenting the program using Microsoft Silverlight.
WAN/LAN Manager for iOS
Jakubis, Tomáš ; Široký, Vít (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
Cílem tohoto projektu je vytvořit aplikaci pro systémy iOS pro správu síťových zařízení, klienty a konfigurace zařízení. To zahrnuje projektovou analýzu, návrh aplikace, její implementaci a testování. Aplikace se skládá z klientské a serverové strany, databáze a~komunikačního protokolu. Výslední aplikace je pak porovnána se stávajícími řešeními s~podobnými výsledky. Výsledky testů ukázaly určité nedostatky a nevýhody řešení. Možná zlepšení a budoucí vývoj byly popsány. Na závěr, po dalším vývoji má aplikace potenciál stát se používanou v praxi.
PC Controlled RC Car
Drdla, Jiří ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Fučík, Otto (advisor)
This work deals with the design of remote-controlled model cars, controlled by a computer. Describes how to design and construct a physical model of the car, design and implementation of an application for the Android mobile operating system and control software for a personal computer. Described principles of model controlling and video transfer, are generally applicable to other projects of similar focus.
Radar Sensor for Active Cruise Control
Rous, Petr ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with implementation of the radar sensor for adaptive cruise control system. It discusses used technologies and processes and documents implementation of signal processing serving for the purpose of adaptive cruise control. It also describes the testing on the real data gathered in traffic. Texas Instrument's AWR1843 radar module was used as the sensor. This sensor represents currently very popular milimeter wave technology radars. Result of this master thesis are two implemented systems processing digital signal. One of them is a prototype application of the adaptive cruise control system, which also visualises the data. The other is implemented firmware of radar module doing real-time on-chip signal processing according to adaptive cruise control logic.
QR Reader for Android
Loskot, Radim ; Široký, Vít (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of reading the QR codes with the aim of designing and description of the implementation of QR codes' reader application for Android mobile platform. In theoretical part it analyzes structure of the QR codes including the way of information encoding and states the possible reference approaches of decoding them. With regard to the target platform Android it proposes algorithms for the detection of QR codes in the real time image and for decoding of the captured image from a mobile phone camera. At the end it evaluates the reliability and efficiency of the implemented functionalities and considers possibilities of their further development.
Radar-Based Measurement for Speed Disciplines
Piňos, Michal ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is radar-based measurement for speed disciplines. For this purpose, the Doppler radar with continuous wave was used, K-MC4 to be specific. Standard signal processing techniques were used to extract the speed information from the radar signal. The key method for obtaining Doppler frequency from signal is Fourier transform. Cosine effect is compensated based on the computed angle. The result of this work is a detector capable of measuring speed and direction of measured objects. Implemented solution also allows the detection of certain objects.
Braille Reader
Fabík, Jiří ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with image processing, specifically scanned Braille documents. It is about recognition of Braille cells, followed by transferring to plain text. Braille dots are recognized on the basis of bright and dark parts, which are created during scanning. After connection to the characters, they are converted to plain text by means of the character set. It also locates positions of possible errors to make it easier to correct the final text.
Speed Measuring of Vehicles Using Radar
Novák, Adrián ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the process of creating a desktop application that processes radar data, from which it detects vehicles, their speed, and direction in an appropriate manner. The core of the application uses a Fourier transformation to transform radar data from time to a frequency domain. This frequency spectrum is used to get the important informationfor the calculation of vehicle speed, followed by a correction of the calculation by the cosine factor. The result of this thesis is a desktop application, which allows its user to obtain information from radar data about the detected vehicle and subsequently, to determine its speed.
Smart Tramway in Brno
Fiala, Jan ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is selecting appropriate technologies, that can be used to locate tram while passing through a section where the pantograph should be lowered or raised, design and implementation of localization system. In this solution, radio frequency identification is used as main source of localization, distance from given place is determined by satellite navigation which is used as backup source of localization. The core of the system is the Arduino platform.
