This thesis is about the situation in the DR Congo from the time of the Belgian colony till the present. It discusses the historical development of the country, bloody conflicts in the end of the 20th century and the OSN mission MONUC which operates in the country. All of this is influenced by the potential of natural resources that can raise the country from the developing countries group, but it can cause also a deeper slump.

This final thesis describes new transformed system of development assistance in Czech Republic and provided forms of assistance in Latin America. In firs theoretic chapter we can read about this current system. Secon part is dedicated to concrete forms of development assisance in each state in LA. Other part describes economic relations with Czech Republic measured by turnover.Finaly there is summary informing about influence of commerece realtions on providing the development assistance.
Development of Argentina during the peronist governments

This thesis focuses on political and economic development during the peronist governments. This does not mean just the periods of Perón's rule, but also the governments in the nineties and early in the new millennium. The thesis is divided into three chapters, which are further divided into various subsections. The first part deals with peronist movement and economic and political characteristics of the three J. D. Peron's governments. The second chapter focuses on the Carlos Menem's rule, especially on his neo-liberal reforms. Final section analyzes the causes of economic crisis in Argentina and then describes the course as well. Attention is also paid to postcrises development in both economic and political area.
Sub-Saharan oil sector: significancy and foreign investment

The thesis focuses on definition of importance of oil resources in sub-Saharan Africa for international trade. The aim of this thesis is to define the most remarkable Sub-Saharian oil sector producers and their relations with transnational oil corporations as the main FDI sources. Emphasis is placed on relationships with Chinese national oil companies and the consequences of these relations.
Science parks as potential of development of innovation export

This thesis in its theoretical part deals with the relation between competitiveness and innovation. In the second chapter the competitiveness is being linked to the science parks. This chapter also describes the categories of science parks, their benefits, as well as criticism and new trends in the field. The third chapter analyses the British and Czech science park environment, the parallels in their operation and relations to export. In the last chapter there is a thorough analysis of Technologické centrum Hradec Králové, one of the good examples of science park in the Czech Republic.
Advantages and disadvantages of memebership in Eurozone in present financial and economic crisis

This bachelor thesis deals particularly with disadvantages of membership in eurozone connected with present debt crisis. In the thesis are also shortly described advantages of membership. First charter describes creation of European Monetary Union, conditions that need to be fulfill in order to join the Union and also conditions that should be followed by members. Second charter is talking about the birth of Word crisis and it's outgrowth into the debt crisis in eurozone. It is also talking not only about the impacts on the member states of eurozone but also on all the member states of European Union. It contains also comparison of impacts on eurozone and impacts on USA, as the birthplace of world crisis. In this part are described reasons of creation of uncontrolled debt in southern states of eurozone. In third chapter are described safeguard measures adopted by eurozone in order to solve the crisis. This chapter is describing the help provided to the indebted countries and also the creation of safeguard mechanism. In the end of this chapter is outlined the vision of the future of eurozone.
Reforms of the European Parliament from the beginning till 2010

This bachelor thesis tries to describe main moments of the development of the European Parliament. The European Parliament is one of the most important institutions of the European Union. As the only European institution represents direct interests of citizens. During the development of the European integration his importance and role was changed. In the history it had to face many problems, but nowadays represents European institution, which can markedly influence functioning of the European Union. The first chapter describes the beginning of the European parliament till the period of adopting the Maastricht treaty, the second chapter is focused on the development in 90's and in the beginning of the new century. The third chapter deals with changes that the Lisbon treaty brought.
Arab oil-exporting countries: definition and current situation

This thesis describes which Arab countries export oil and how the oil industry influences their economies. The first part deals with the definition of the concept of Arab states in a historical aspect. It defines the states geographically, culturally and religiously. Based on the study of literature, it focuses on the important historical events in this region. The thesis also mentions their tendency to create economic and political alliances. It examines the distribution of oil resources and its production. The second part concentrates on the important economic indicators such as GDP, unemployment, foreign direct investment and current account surplus in the balance of payments. The current account surplus is crucial for this thesis. It is characteristic for the economies of Arab oil-exporting countries and highlights the minimal diversification of these economies.
Current stage of Chilean economy

The target of my bachelor thesis is the total analysis of Chilean economy at 2010. After reading of the text anybody should be able to imagine the macroeconomic climate in Chile. The text of the work is devided in four chapters - the first one reports about the general information of territory and of Chilean history, the second one dedicates to the structure of Chilean economy and closer to the theme of mining, the third one engages in international trade with special target to bilateral relationship agreements, the fourth one is about economic challenges in the form of reconstruction after the earthquake and integration processes in Latin America.
