Development and interpretation of site tree-ring chronology of Pinus sylvestris
Mašek, Jiří ; Treml, Václav (advisor) ; Šefrna, Luděk (referee)
The presented bachelor thesis deals with the study of climatic factors that influence the growth of the pine (Pinus sylvestris) in the locality near Rabštejn nad Střelou. The primary objective was to determine the limiting factors of tree growth and to perform dendroclimatic reconstruction. For this purpose, samples were taken at the site and local chronologies were created using various standardization methods. Using the correlation coefficients, limiting growth factors were determined, and reconstruction by regression and scaling was performed based on the highest correlation. The results showed a strong relationship of rings width to rainfall and humidity conditions, especially in the summer months and in various seasons from April to August. Most of the chronologies also showed the positive influence of February temperatures. Observed signature rings in many cases are well responsive to various climatic anomalies. For the most correlated variable, dendroclimatic reconstruction was calculated for the period 1850 - 2016 when the chronology was reliable. The reconstructed average rainfall corresponds well with the Klementinum climate line and other rainfall reconstructions.
Stanovení emisí tuhých znečišťujících látek v chovech drůbeže
MAŠEK, Jiří
This bachelor´s thesis focuses on problems with a concentration of dust participles in poultry farming, specifically broiler farming. Data for this study were collected by taking measurements in The Cooperative Farm Batelov. DustTrak II 8530 monitored dust participles for 24 hours every 2 seconds. The measurement was done during the third and the last week it means the fifth week of poultry´s fattening.

Maintaining free air passage in pre-hospital emergency treatment by healthcare professionals below the level of physician
Růžičková, Taťána ; Zemanová, Věra (advisor) ; Mašek, Jiří (referee) ; Fejfarová, Kristýna (referee)
My B.Sc. thesis deals with procedures to maintain free airways by healthcare professionals below the level of physician training. Previously such activities were carried out solely by qualified physicians. The paper shows that non-physicians are just as capable of securing free airways in emergency pre-hospital treatment. Nurses and paramedics can employ a variety of methods, according to skills in which they were trained. The success rate of individual, overal rate of success, most frequently used methods, and other information was obtained by statistical analysis of data found in the archives of emergency services.

Mathauser, Radek ; Fejfarová, Kristýna (advisor) ; Novák, Ivo (referee) ; Mašek, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on general issues of quality healthcare with a consideration of specific conditions in emergency pre-hospital care. Special attention is paid to the importance of standardization as one of generally recognized and widely used tools for achieving a desirable quality of nursing care. The thesis outlines the basic knowledge which could serve as an introduction to designing structural, process and outcome standards. The central point of the thesis is a quantitative research aimed at determining the frequency of diagnoses addressed by emergency crews of Emergency Healthcare of Hradec Králové Region, Area East, together with a proposal of formal and algorithmic draft of standard nursing procedures for the so called priority diagnoses in the Area East.
Physiotherapy and It's Role in Impingement Syndrome
Mašek, Jiří ; Vacek, Jan (advisor)
Subacromial impingement syndrome is among the most frequent cases of shoulder pain and dysfunction in adults. It's reffered to as shoulder pain is third only to headache and back pain in freqency seen in the practitioner's office. It's known, SIS is a heterogenous entity, which can be caused by a lot of ethiological factors. These factors can have bad influence of architecture of the subacromial space. The tendons of the rotator cuff are passing trough this space and so that structures are most often affected by degenerative disorders. Clinical history and physical examination play a key role in diagnostics. Provocative manoeuvres (Neer's sign, Hawkin's test, Yocum manoeuvre) seem to be useful for identifying impingement syndrome. If there is a reasonable doubt in diagnostics we can use imaging methods. We should start with the minimally invasive and the most economic method. Commonly used course of action include x-ray, ultrasound and MRI. Well-timed and the most accurate diagnostics enable us to start suitable treatment. The treatment commonly starts with pain-relief drugs (NSAID, subacromial injection of mixture of corticosteroid and local anestethic). The combination of physiotherapy and manual therapy seems to be an effective treatment method. This therapeutic combination is good for improving function...

The theoretical part of my bachelor's thesis deal about devolopement of resuscitation procedures from first written note to present. In november 2005 was published new resuscitation rules called guidelines 2005. A second part find out the level of knowledges of non medical hospital attendants who work in Regional hospital Náchod. Research was performed in february 2005. I gave some questionnaire to nurses who work in out patients'department, in hospital wards, in intensive care unites and to non medical hospital attendans who work in X-ray department.
