Branding and rebranding

The paper is focused on brand identity and its implementation. The main target of the paper is to propose visual rules that could be used in companys communication including the logomanual and brand tonality represented by the communication manual. There is formed a theoretical summary and the issue of brand identity is discussed in a context of brand building in the first part of the paper. Then, in a practical part of the paper, is the paper focused on designing new brand for a small accommodation business. The new new brand name, logo, company colors, fonts are designed. The author had compiled the new logomanual and communication manual of the brand. There are few practical applications of the new identity proposed in conclusion of practical part.
Incubation Processes in Selected Organization

The thesis is focused on the benefits of process management in startup incubators. The thesis aims to identify the existing cycle of incubation process and subsequently also aims to propose the optimal incubation process within the incubator Point One located at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. Identification and mapping of business processes of this organization should ensure more efficient management of incubated projects in the future. In the first part of the thesis theoretical bases are developed, which were obtained from the literature dealing with system analysis and also with identification and modeling of business processes in the organization. Subsequently the thesis introduces different approaches and developments in business management from the oldest functional management to the process and project management. The second part introduces the incubator Point One, located at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, along with the services offered by this organization. The author together with the manager of the Point One incubator analyzed the current state of the organization and also identified its business processes. Business process analysis is based on the method MMABP (Methodology For Modeling And Analysis Of Business Process). Such analysis clearly defines and maps the processes of Point One incubator. Based on this analysis, the proposals of optimal organizational processes are designed.
Retail network and its development in the Czech Republic

Topic of this thesis is a retail network and its development in the Czech Republic. Ahold Czech Republic, Inc. Operating hypermarkets Albert was chosen as a subjekt of study. Hypermarket study is applied on is in city of Hradec Kralove and analyzed area is Hradec Kralove county. The work consists of several parts. The first part is theoretical background, where characterization of the concept that are Essentials for the understanding of the topic is being described. Described terms are such as trade, retail trade, retail stores, hypermarket. Another section is devoted to the developmental stages of retail trade in the Czech Republic, as the name of work states. The third part focuses on Ahold Czech Republic Inc., competing chaos such as Kaufland Czech Republic and Tesco Stores CR, and also on the subjekt of this thesis hypermarket in Hradec Kralove. In this charter there is a comparsion of individual chaos as well as description of strenghts and weaknesses, price analysis is being applied, comparison of cash registers, hadnling times and services of individual hypermarkets are included as well. Another part is the iscussion of the results, where comments on individual analyzes are being applied. The thesis also includes a surfy and proposals for action. The last part is the conclusion that closes my thesis.
Start-up

The main topic of this thesis is the introduction to the issue of the companies in the early stage with a big growth potential, so called start-ups. The first years of the company´s existence are very difficult. This is showed on the example of a real company. The original business plan can be changed a lot during the first years of the company, due to big changes in the company´s internal and external environment. The theoretical part of the thesis summaries the issues of strategic management and making business plans, defines a start-up and summaries the options of how to finance start-ups. There is a summary of a concrete business plan of a real company in the analytical part of the thesis. By comparison of the results from the analysis made in the original business plan and the analysis made in the present were found the reasons of the differences between the results expected and the results really achieved.
System of Selection and Management of Adaptation of Employess

The topic of the thesis deals with the selection and adaptation of employees. The main aim is to compile suggestions for the chosen company, which will be used for partial or complete elimination of detected weaknesses in personnel activities. Partial objectives include tasks focused on a literature review, characterizing the company, realizing questionnaire survey and personal interviews with employees, evaluation and display of the acquired information. The thesis has two parts. The theoretical part observes briefly the development of human resources, human resources management and describes personnel activities. More deeply are described personnel activities, which are related to the provision of human resources for the company. This area includes recruitment, selection, employment and adaptation of employees. Currently, the adaptation of employees is among those activities, which are the most neglected and overlooked by companies. In the practical part is introduced the company Trendy, s. r. o. and described its approach to recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees. The evaluation of the selection and adaptation process is done by a questionnaire method and personal interviews with employees. In the final part are drafted partial measures, which are designed to improve not only the adaptation process, but also to develop the selection process.
Strategic management

The thesis Strategic Management provides a comprehensive view of the environment in which it is subject under examination. The work is divided into two parts, into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains information related to strategic thinking, management and planning. The fundamental part is dedicated to the recommended methods of exploration on the level of macro and micro environment analysis of the business life cycle, stakeholder analysis and SWOT analysis. The practical part of the use of selected methods systematically directed to the target job to generate and recommend appropriate pensum strategic tasks for the situation in which the surveyed company is currently located. Results of the analyzes are used as input data to generate proposals and strategies. Finally, there is the evaluation and comparison of the proposed recommendations, with the current implementation process and implementation of strategic management of organizations surveyed.
The influence of brand on consumer buying behavior

The diploma thesis The influence of brand on consumer buying behaviour is focused on the market of mobile phones. The aim of this thesis is an evaluation of particular factors that affect customer´s buying decisions regarding mobile phones. The principle is to find out whether the affect of the brand predominates the price, availability, advertising, etc. The thesis includes six brands of mobile phones that, according to the secondary data, have the biggest market share. A part of this thesis is also a survey that ascertains opinions of respondents on mobile phones. Thanks to the survey we can evaluate what operation system is favoured by the customers and whether the size, manageability, price and screen size are important for them. The finding, if customers are affected by the advertisement, which buying spot they prefer and what experience they have with mobile phones, is also important. None of the cell phone brands received an extremely low rating, but at each of them were found certain deficiencies. The management of the cell phone producers should focus on product quality and maintaining long-term customer relations. Some of the producers should reconsider their pricing policy and stimulate their vendors to improvement of customer awareness and increase of sales.
Evaluation plan of common facilities implemented within the land consolidation project in Nova Ves u Kdyně cadaster

The aim of this thesis is to characterize landscaping focusing on the pitfalls that can accompany this process. The first part of the work is focused primarily on the characteristics of land consolidation, their importance, objectives and their forms. For a better idea of land consolidation at present, but in the past, the thesis is supplemented by a history of landscaping. The next section describes how to work on the land consolidation plan and funding for the complete picture. The literature search is finished land consolidation abroad. The output and the analytical part of the thesis is to study cadaster ofNová Ves u Kdyně, in which elements of the plan are put to public facilities. This analysis is complemented by a comprehensive landscaping assessment for users and residents of the cadastralarea.
Coupled transport processes

The objective of this thesis was to implement a new module to the DRUtES model code, which allows to calculate coupled transport of moisture, temperature and miscible substance in a variably saturated porous media. The main part of the practical phase of the thesis was to implement appropriate constitutive relationships describing a coupled transport to the Galerkin finite elements scheme previously implemented in the DRUtES model. Besides this, a corresponding configuration files were made to assign parameters of the model into program data structures as well as a little bit of other programming work elsewhere in the code. Numerical solution of each transport equation was compared with its analytical solution. 1D moisture transport with the Philips semi-analytic solution of diffusive form of Richards equation. 2D temperature and miscible substance transport with an analytical solution of advection-dispersion equation. This comparisons suggested that the implementation was correct. The coupling of these processes was compared with a reference numerical solution. In this case was the fitness of results assessed in more qualitative manner with a literature. Before use of this coupled model to solve a real world problem, I would recommend to make a similar assessment with the real data.
Evaluation of marketing communication for hotel Klášter Teplá

The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the instruments of the marketing communication in the hotel and to develop the suggestions for its improvement. The first part is devoted to the theoretical knowledges about the marketing and marketing services. It is based on the study of secondary data. The second part is focused on the analysis of the current instruments in the marketing communication. The results of the analysis are the recommendations for its improvement and the efficiency that should lead to increase the occupancy and improve the whole economic situation of the hotel. There are the implements suggested to be used by the hotel management at the end of thesis.
