Bachelor's thesis presented here determines nursing staff knowledge in issues of organ transplantation. The focus of this thesis is a quantitative survey made among nursing staff on the issues of organ transplantation legislation in Czech Republic. The thesis contains information from Transplantation state law, information about the National Registry of persons who disagree with post-mortal use of their organs and tissues and information about the Coordination Centre of organ transplantations. It also considers the determination of death act. The examined sample of population is formed by staff nurses from "Pardubická krajská nemocnice, a.s. "
Buddhist mantra and the Heart Sūtra

The subject matter of religious language from the perspective of Religious studies is the chief schema of the thesis. It deals with concrete religious utterances, namely Buddhist mantras. The thesis outlines the context of their origin in Vedic religion and their subsequent development in Mahayana and Tantric Buddhism. It further examines the mantra both in Buddhist theory (the mantra in the text) and in Buddhist practice (the mantra in the ritual). The answer to the questions if the exact meaning of the individual mantras can be found and to what extent mantras are translatable from original Sanskrit is the primary aim of the thesis. Special attention is paid to the Heart Sutra, the crowning text of Mahayana Buddhism, and its final mantra gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha. Complex caring for patients with ostomy

Bachaleors thesis deals with complex care of clients with intestinal derivational stomies. In the exordium the theoretical knowledge to given questions is introduced, the empirical part was processed upon an identified and evaluated data of the realized research. The quality of care of multidisciplinar medical teams was monitored during attendance of clients with this kind of disorder. In subparameters the psychosocial support of clients with stomy was surveyed as well as the influence of restrictive factors incidental to their everyday life after stomy disposition.
Quality of life of patiens after kidney transplantation

Purpose of this Bachelor theses is to point out the quality of life of patients after kidney transplantation. The theoretical part deals with chronic renal failure - causes, manifastions, treatment CHRI. Renal transplantation - history, waiting list, compatibility between donor and recipient kidneys, collections and donation kidney, pre-transplantion program, post-transplant care. The author then discusses the quality of life as a such and the possibilities of determination of quality of life. The aim of the empirical part was to investigate the quality of life of patiens after kidney transplantation, their family backgrounds, occupations, quality of life before and after kidney transplatation, their subjective perception of physical condition and emotional state, social functions, pain, perception of general health. Quantitative research conducted at the nefrology clinic of University Hospital in Hradec Kralove was used for this purpose.

The Quality of Life of Patients with Prostate Cancer

The goal of bachelor's thesis to analyse life quality of patients suffering with the prostate cancer. It intents on confronting two therapeutic methods and their impact to life quality of the men suffering with this disease. It's referring to the importance of education and the correct way of communication while the diagnostic and therapeutic process. The main idea is emphasizing the nursing care. The main focus of the thesis lies on a exploratory survey of life quality in men suffering with prostate cancer which is being compared to the predictions available in specialized literature. The work group was created by the patients of the urology clinic and the oncology clinic of University hospital in Hradec Králové. 74 patients were divided in two groups. 37 inmates had undergone radical prostatectomy, the others staging pelvic lymphadenectomy and subsequent iradiation. The research approved that there is no statistically significant difference of life quality in both compared respondent's groups.
Quality of life of senior women that suffer from incontinence

This bachelor dissatation deals with the problem of female incontinence. Theoretic part is devoted anatomy lower urinary tract, physiology discharging and detail described individual kinds of urinary incontinence, cause, treatment and prevention. In empiric part I felt to valorize how the urinary incontinence affects quality of life. I also tried to find out how long was the time interval before the patient finds the medical hep and if there is enough awareness about the illness and its treatment. My research confirmed the fact that it is important to improve education and have enough Information available about this problem in order to identify the early symptoms and eliminate negative motions. The most important is to improve understanding of women's feelings and needs and to (decrease) eliminate the embarrasment rated to this problem.

Patients`/Clients` Needs after Radical Prostatectomy The theoretical part of the present thesis, which is focused on needs of patients/clients after the radical prostatectomy, is concerned with the needs of an ill human as such within the framework of the holistic concept. Then, it analyses specific prostatectomy-patient-related needs. The thesis reveals the fundamental of this operation and its lasting ill effects that cause various problems and bring along specific needs. The above-mentioned effects concern all parts of human personality. The thesis deals with the nurse's role while identifying and satisfying these needs within the framework of the nursing process. The importance of an appropriate education is stressed as well. The practical research part not only analyses the level of patients'/clients' foreknowledge of eventual post-operative problems and complications but it monitors also their concrete needs in different stages of the post-operative period.
