Earl christianity and vizualization trinity of Got
Činátl, Jiří ; Lukeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Kučera, Zdeněk (referee)
Though the trinitarian iconography is fairly easy to understand, it remains with many of the 4th and 5th century works it is unclear and difficult to explain. In the literature of the last century, we often encounter ideas that have been absorbed in older works and subsequently only mechanically repeated in subsequent works. Such a way of interpreting can lead to controversial iconographic analyzes in order to focus in a trinitarian way and to attempt in a tricky way to explain the iconography of "non-trivial" artefacts. This diploma thesis attempts to open a difficult question of the origin, development and interaction of individual types of symbols representing the Trinity. The aim of this work is to mark the effort of a complex view, which will try, especially with similar motives and symbols, to lead to a more precise interpretation and classification within the framework of trinitarian iconography. The main aim of this diploma thesis is the effort of theological, artistic, historical and philosophical grasp of the issue of the image of God in the first millennium of the Christian faith. Due to the vastness and considerable lack of clarity of this topic, the work is conceived with a focus on the first millennium of Christianity. Many examples of depictions and symbolic references to the Triune...

Hart, Vojtěch Lev ; Kučera, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Sedláček, Miroslav (referee)
The use of artificial intelligence in civil procedure Abstract: The subject of this master's thesis is artificial intelligence and civil procedure. The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the possible uses of artificial intelligence in civil procedure, with emphasis on the decision-making process of a judge. The primary focus of the first part of this thesis is to define artificial intelligence and explore its legal understanding from an international, European, and Czech perspective. Furthermore, the fundamental possible forms through which artificial intelligence can be applied into the civil procedure are examined. Comprehensive analysis of ethical and legal challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence in civil procedure and judiciary is then carried out. In this regard the thesis first examines the five basic ethical principles outlined by the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice. Emphasis is placed particularly on the issues concerning the non- transparency of artificial intelligence, specifically addressing concerns related to the black box problems, as well as data bias. The thesis then examines through analysis the impact of these issues on the right to a fair trial. Specifically, the impartiality and independence of judges, adversarial principle, equality of arms,...
Data mining and aspects of private law
Procházka, Lukáš ; Kučera, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Zvára, Michael (referee)
Data mining and aspects of private law Abstract Data is the new oil. As oil can be transformed into valuable products data can be transformed into information about our customers, competitors, contractual partners or audience. No matter whether online advertisements, recommender systems, internet search engines, so- called personalisation is ever-present. As of now, neither private nor public law provides throughout regulation of data and its exploitation. Some might say that words, data and information are interchangeable. This applies particularly to older regulations of the European Union such as GDPR. However, data and information are two very distinct yet connected terms. Besides that, in the first chapter we elaborate on the concept of data mining, its methods and utilization. In the second chapter we point out relevant regulation within private law, including regulation of the European Union and its pursuit of fairness in access and use of data. Furthermore, we evaluate suitability and sufficiency of the current state of regulation and suggest changes and amendments. We focus on personal data, intellectual property rights and anti-competitive practices. Some might argue that as of now there are no sufficient provisions ensuring transparent use of data. In the third chapter we evaluate whether current...
Legal aspects of online behavioural advertising
Maršál, Jiří ; Kučera, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Zvára, Michael (referee)
In 2022, the AdTech industry is on the verge of a significant makeover. In addition to technological changes caused by the phasing out of third-party cookies, real-time bidding systems used for online behavioural advertising (OBA) are subject to fierce criticism by privacy advocacy groups. Moreover, the concerns about privacy deficits in advertising ecosystems are starting to translate into regulatory attention. In February 2022, the Belgian data protection authority sanctioned IAB Europe - the ambassador of one of the largest real-time bidding ecosystems in Europe - for failure to ensure lawful data processing. Considering the recent developments, this paper aims to ascertain how online behavioural advertising is governed by current privacy laws and verify whether the prescribed legal requirements are observed in practice. Before assessing its legal aspects, it was first necessary to examine online advertising from a technological perspective. The first part of this paper provides an introduction into AdTech and describes the functioning of real-time bidding (RTB) ecosystems, the roles played by publishers, advertisers and AdTech intermediaries, the programmatic bidding process, the data processed and how the data is exchanged between the involved parties. The second part focuses on practices used in...
