The use of foreign players in the first Czech league of American football

Title: Use of foreign players in the first Czech league of American football Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to determine the game and club contribution of foreign players (as defined by the CAAF) who played in the first league of American football in the Czech Republic in 2013-2019. To compare their game efficiency with other players and to determine whether foreign players had an impact on the development of the membership base, spectator attendance and league balance. Methods: The thesis analyses secondary data obtained from the web portal of the Czech Association of American Football and internal data provided by the association itself. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight representatives of first league American football clubs in the Czech Republic. The number and position of foreign players between 2013 and 2019 who were classified as Foreigners or Imports by the association was examined. The key information for the thesis was selected football statistics. The effect of these foreign players on the development of the membership base, average spectator attendance and league balance was also examined. Title: Attitudes to american football at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University Objectives: The focus of this bachelors thesis is to find out what are the attitudes of the students of Faculty of physical education and sport of Charles University to American football and also find out what knowledge students possess about this sport. Methods: In this work is used the method of quantitative questioning through questionnaire survey of students and graduates of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University. Questionnaire was distributed in electronic form and was created exclusively for the purposes of this thesis. The theoretical part was created and written based on studies of specialised literature. Results: In conclusion the research helped with finding the attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport to American football. The results are showing what knowledge do those students possess about rules of the game, posts or specific clubs and players. Some of the respondents were showing an interest in trying out this sport. Current knowledge of american football is average, however the stances are mostly positive and there is also an interest in playing this sport as well. Téma disertační práce ?Sociálně-ekonomický systém Kazachstánu na pozadí vývoje světové ekonomiky (se zohledněním bilaterálních vztahů Kazachstánu s Českou republikou)? je poměrné nové (s ohledem na otázku spolupráce mezi Kazachstánem a Českou republikou) i když otázka sociálně-ekonomického rozvoje jakékoli země je problematika dlouhotrvající. Disertační práce se skládá z několika dílčích cílů a problémů, jejichž řešení je v jednotlivých částech práce. The dissertation paper is devoted to analysis of socio-economic system of Kazakhstan and to examination of bilateral economic relations between the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan.
