Usage of interdisciplinary relations of geography and historiography in teaching of the local region (using Jáchymov as an example)
Klíčová slova Mezipředmětové vztahy, místní region, zeměpis, geografie, dějepis, Jáchymov, pracovní tábory Abstract This Bachelor thesis is devoted to interdisciplinary relations of geography and historiography in teaching of the local region in secondary schools and grammar schools. The main goal of this thesis is an analysis of teaching of the local region and usage of interdisciplinary relations in schools closely connected to Jáchymov region. The secondary goal is to create a...
Electronic effects at the interface between biomolecules, cells and diamond
Krátká, Marie ; Rezek, Bohuslav (advisor) ; Cifra, Michal (referee) ; Skládal, Petr (referee)
Understanding and control of interactions between biological environment (cells, proteins, tissues, membranes, electrolytes, etc.) and solid-state surfaces is fundamental for biomedical applications such as bio-sensors, bio-electronics, tissue engineering and implant materials as well as for environmental monitoring, security and other fields. Diamond can provide unique combination of semiconducting, chemical, optical, biocompatible and other properties for this purpose. In this thesis we characterize electronic properties of protein-diamond interface by employing a solution-gated field-effect transistor (SGFET) based on hydrogen-terminated diamond, surface of which is exposed to biological media. We elucidate the role of adsorbed protein layer on the electronic response of the diamond transistor. We investigate effects of cells (using mainly osteoblast cells as model) on diamond SGFETs transfer characteristics and gate currents. We employ nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) thin films of different grain sizes (80 - 250 nm) to characterize and discuss influence of grain boundaries and sp2 phase on bio- electronic function of SGFETs. We investigate effects of gamma irradiation on function and stability of hydrogen-terminated diamond SGFETs interfaced with proteins and cells, showing feasibility of...

Nanocrystalline diamond SG-FET: role of grain boundaries and cell culture process
Krátká, Marie ; Kromka, Alexander ; Ukraintsev, Egor ; Brož, A. ; Kalbáčová, M. ; Rezek, Bohuslav
Fetal bovine serum layer morphology and thickness is not changing (significantly). KFM measurement show that surface potential difference between diamond and gold reduces after each process. That result indiactes changes in surface termination. FET shifts possibly related with change of diamond itself.
Renewal of three-dimensional nanocrystalline diamond bio-transistor by low temperature hydrogenation
Krátká, Marie ; Neykova, Neda ; Ukraintsev, Egor ; Kromka, Alexander ; Rezek, Bohuslav
We employ directly grown microscopic (20um and 5um) solution-gated field-effect transistors (SGFET) as a biosensor with H-terminated surface acting as a gate insulator towards solution and generator of surface conductivity at the same time.
Characteristics of nanocrystalline diamond SGFETs under cell culture conditions
Krátká, Marie ; Kromka, Alexander ; Rezek, Bohuslav ; Brož, A. ; Kalbáčová, M.
Characterization of electronic properties of protein diamond interface by using microscopic (20 μm) solution-gated field-effect transistors (SGFET) based on H-terminated nanocrystalline diamond films (NCD) on glass. We show that NCD films with grain sizes down to 80 nm and thickness down to 100 nm are operational as SGFETs.
Measuring and improving effectiveness of internet campaigns
Zdarsa, Jan ; Stříteský, Václav (advisor) ; Krátká, Marie (referee)
Master's thesis deals with the evaluation of the effectiveness of internet campaigns. Theoretical and methodological part of the thesis presents online marketing channels and business models widely used in Internet marketing, setting right goals before the campaign launch and the most used web analytics tools, including technological difficulties and the correct procedure for evaluating campaigns. The practical part of the thesis describes a significant difference in the evaluation of the effectiveness of internet campaigns by using the multitouch attribution. A secondary aim is to show that internet marketing is not well measured as marketers think.
The Children´s and Youth´s Attitude to Sports and the Influence of Sport to their Psychic Condition
KRÁTKÁ, Marie
This work deals with the relationship of children and the young towards sport and how sport influences their psychic development. It discourses upon leisure sports and their pedagogical, social and also economical possibilities. This work offers an insight into history of sport activities since the dawn of humanity, categorisation of sport disciplines and individual phases of a human development on the subject of sport. Further on, it deals with cognitive functions concerning sport activities and also the importance of sport at schools and interested education. The practical part of this work is a survey comparing different views on sport as seen by chidren and the young. The survey helps to understand why some people do sports and some do not.
