The Beuron School and Liturgy

Subject of my work is the Beuronese art and its relation to the liturgy. The first part concerns generally the beuronese confederation, its foundation, historical development and expansion. The piece draws the creation and the basic solutions of the confederation, coming of the Beuron Art School as an individual style, and presents the most important beuronese performers. The study also surveys the main works of the Beuron Art School and evaluates the School's influence on the main art streams of the period. The work then tries to describe and clarify the relationship between the beuronese conception of sacral art and liturgy using examples of the two most important Prague beuronese monasteries. For this purpose it analyses so called beuronese "Gesamtkunstwerk", using knowledge of the Christian iconography.
The Intercessions Collections for Celebrating the Eucharist in the Czech and Moravian Dioceses

The intercessions' prayer represents requests for universal Roman Catholic, prayers for people who govern on the World,for gift and salvation all the world, and then all suffered people and local parish. Our work will deal this prayer in the view of celebrating Eucharist and history in the Czech's and Moravian's dioceses with the clue make cataloguing, analyzes contents of these intercessions' collections and compares it from special viewpoints. It would find differences between contents of that intercessions'collections and outline of critical evaluation. Therefore there are main points in these intercessions' prayer our work approaches. There are anamnesis of formation intercessions' collections, cataloguing, systematics processing of differences, analysis of content intercessions' collections and critical evaluation.

Ethic education This diploma work deals with newly implemented school subject "Ethic education" at the school system in the Czech Republic. "Ethic education" has been defined as a project, where main topic is to develop pro-social behaviour. This diploma work specifies elementary educational aims of this project and analyses its particular educational components: contain, methods, style, topics. It also deals with the process of implementation into the Czech school system, in what social context has ethic education has been developing, how it is embodied into Framework Education Programme documents and how psychology as a science looks at moral development of a human being. Author looks at the ethic education through prism of universal principles and outcomes, such as Christian ethics and natural moral law.

Rite of Marriage in the Christian West and Byzantine Tradition and in Jewish Tradition. Attempt of the Comparison. Annotation: This baccalaureate work is focused on the celebration of rite of marriage in three traditions: in jewish, in christian byzantine and christian west tradition. The primary source for the comparison of above mentioned traditions is stated in the historical aside to the antic greco-roman rite of marriage and to the jewish tradition in which the evolution of this particular rite is throughout the history minimal. Historical aside is based on the identification of the essential elements and signs of the rite of marriage and its celebration form. There is a tracking of the influence of these cultures on particular christian traditions there and their mutual interaction with the respect to the historical setting and geographical circumstances. The attempt of the comparison of rites of marriage in selected traditions as they are celebrated nowadays is provided. There is also the attempt to compare the selected symbols and elements throughout the rite of marriage in all three selected traditions. The Holy Mass and Young Children

This Bachelor thesis entitled Holy Mass and small children is aimed at families with children taking part in Mass and it also outlines some possibilities how to bring the Mass effectively to small children and how to get them involved. When writing about small children I mean the children up to the age of six. First, this thesis deals with liturgy in general, the Eucharist, Mass and its structure, highlights celebration of Sundays in families including participation in Mass. It also deals with various ways of celebrating Mass and mainly Mass with small children and forms of children`s active participation in the Eucharist. From the point of view of developmental psychology the thesis specifies children`s abilities in different ages. Next part of the thesis evaluates questionnaires filled in by parents and priests in Litoměřice diocese. The questions can be divided into several categories: an ideal place, an ideal parish, an ideal priest and an ideal form of celebrating Mass. All interviewed people could think about their idea of an ideal Mass with small children. The place of worship. Reflection of the arrangement of the church.

Building a new church and its arrangement impersonate a difficult task for an architect. No less difficult challenge is the reconstruction, upkeep or modification of inner alignment of a historical church. It needs from all concerned subjects - the architect, the submitter and the user (but also offices, conservationists, inhabitants) - basic knowledge about the most important aspects of conception of church, or liturgical space, which has not only its architectonical and functional site, but also a deep symbolical and theological meaning. The church has many requirements about the church building, which are described in many documents of different character. The other information (coming from millennial development and experience with sacral architecture) is involved in theological literature and other sources. Object of this study is making up a simple guide book summarizing all basic requirements (architectonical, artistic, urbanistic, landscape planning, functional and operational, conservationistical and on the other hand theological and symbolical) of building and alignment of a church or liturgical space, its parts (altar, ambon, sedes). Anotace: Pastoration activities of father Frantisek Wonka in Manetin (1925-1939). Bachelor work deals the activities of priest and writer Frantisek Wonka, which was in his time very popular. The faithful remember him kindly up to this day. His manuscripts has been never published. In introduction of this work is a brief curriculum vitae. On the following pages is a description of his fundamental works - general source-book for my work. Mayor part of work deals the the pastoration priorities of priest. Baptismal rituals Syrian Orthodox Church from Antioch This bachelor work focuses on baptismal rituals of the Syrian Orthodox Church from Antioch and is based on the Czech translation of these rituals in Syrian Orthodox Church from Antioch. The work also deals with the conditions for, way and experiencing of the celebration of baptismal liturgy in Syrian tradition; in history of the Aramaic Christian tradition and mainly in Syrian Orthodox Church from Antioch.
