Wind power station with Savonius rotor for production of electric power
Klečka, Jiří ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
Using of wind energy belongs to one of the fastest developing segments in the power production from renewable resources, which also relates to new studies and development of different types of power stations and brings new ideas to small wind sources spheres too. Savonius rotor is included in these spheres as well. This thesis deals with a complete design, realization and trial measurement of single-step Savonius rotor model. Introduction part treats of basic division and rotor utilization. Design part includes the design as well rotor graphical documentation. In the following part there is data evaluation, which leads to comparison with theoretical calculations. The final part includes an examination of possible utilization of Savonius rotor for generation of electricity.
The covid 19 outbreak as seen by foreign reporters of Czech radio
Klečka, Jiří ; Lovaš, Karol (advisor) ; Jirků, Jan (referee)
The covid pandemic has affected both mainstream domestic and foreign news coverage. This thesis examines how the spread of the disease affected the work of Czech Radio reporters. How did they have to adapt, what impact did the pandemic have on their personal lives or what were the possibilities of returning from foreign posts to the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is also to compare what topics the newsroom in Prague demanded from the reporters and what information was available to them in the country where they were stationed. I also briefly discuss the radio's response to the pandemic and how Radio as a public media outlet took care of its employees abroad. I then discuss the results of the interviews with the correspondents with their then manager. Before analysing the interviews with the correspondents, the thesis introduces them in short medallions and also charts important world and domestic events that were the main focus of the news coverage during the pandemic. The thesis also briefly defines the nature of the work of a foreign correspondent and the impact of the pandemic on the news coverage.

USE OF TUMOR MARKERS IN POSTOPERATIVE PROGNOSIS OF NON-SMALL-CELL LUNG CANCER
Šafránek, Jarmil ; Klečka, Jiří (advisor) ; Schützner, Jan (referee) ; Haruštiak, Svetozár (referee) ; Čapov, Ivan (referee)
USE OF TUMOR MARKERS IN POSTOPERATIVE PROGNOSIS OF NON-SMALL- CELL LUNG CANCER Introduction: The most frequently used prognostic parameters in clinical practice of NSCLC are disease stadium and affection of hilar or mediastinal lymph nodes. These phactors are not sufficient and therefore new prognostic parameters - tumor markers - are being searched for. Tumor markers regarding NSCLC have mainly been used so far to monitore effects of medical treatment or detection of carcinoma recurrency. The study concentrates on assessment of tumor markers significance for NSCLC. Methods: The total group includes 125 patients operated on for NSCLC in the years 2004-2007. Single groups of patients were assessed successively. Serum markers CYFRA 21-1, CEA, TK, TPS, and NSE were assessed in an immunoanalytical way in 34 patients: Serum parameters of angiogenesis through Luminex® xMAP® technology were assessed in 27 patients. Serum values of cytokeratins were assessed in an immunoanalytical way with 125 patients. Expressions of metalloproteinases (MMP-7, MMP-9) and their inhibitors (TIMP-1, TIMP-2) were assessed in NSCLC tissue with 91 patients and in lung tissue with 12 patients with benign pulmonary disease. Finally, OS and DFI were assessed in accordance with tissue expression of metalloproteinases and their...
Delayed and Immediate Breast Reconstruction

OBJECTIVES : This work studies the indications, methods, results , satisfaction and partner relationships in immediate (IBR ) and deferred breast reconstruction ( DBR ) to objectively consider the benefits and indications IBR . METHOD : IBR between 1/2002-12/2012 underwent 51 ( 33.33 %) women ( 29-58 years, mean 41.5 , median 40.5 ) ; DBR 102 ( 66.67 %) ( 31-64 , mean 47.5 , median 47 ), data were obtained from medical records , questionnaires interviews and questionnaires , processed by statistical analysis RESULTS : Indications IBR : ≤ pT2N0M0 , low grade tumor ; DBR : ≥ 1 year of remission. Age at IBR was lower than the DBR ( p- 0.0004 ) Statistical differences in the modes of life after reconstruction the IBR a DBR were observed ( p- 0.1935-0.9659 ) predominates full and prevailing contentment. IBR does not burden patients ( 55 to 160 min, average 91.1 and 139.3 min, median 75 and 135 min ) between unilateral and bilateral operations are not statistically significant differences ( p -value 0.1065 ) . Complications prolonging healing rare - IBR 5 ( 8.33 %) , DBR 6 ( 5.8 % ) and mortality generalization low - IBR and 1 ( 1.96 % s ) DBR 1 and 2 ( 0.98 % and 1 , 96%) . Satisfaction with IBR was reported by 84.09 % , with 86.11 % DBR . The DBR was found 4 times greater risk of life or relationship. SUMMARY:...
