Sachová, Zuzana ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title Kinesiological overview of evaluation methods of sprinting and hurdling in track and field. Objectives The objective of this thesis was to analyse the possibilities of kinesiological evaluation as described in the literature, especially with regard to understand sprinting and hurdling in track and field; to familiarize myself with the possibilities of a complete evaluation of sprinting and hurdling, and then to try to raise a kinesiograph of the movements of a hurdler in intentionally selected photosequences. Methods This thesis is focused on the possibilities of kineological evaluation of sprinting and hurdling in track and field. It's based on a review of selected scientific publications about human motion system, general kinesiology, kinesiology of pelvis and lower limbs, descriptions and techniques of sprinting and hurdling and special kinesiology of sprinting and hurdling in track and field. Furthermore, indirect observation and watching videos of top hurdlers in motion were also used for the selection of intentional photosequences to attempt a kinesiological evaluation of hurdling. Results Through relevant scientific publications - 71 published on print and 9 on electronic media - I realised that kinesiological evaluation of sprinting and especially of hurdling is very difficult and...

Comparison of uniform training system and recommendations for sprinters of comparable level of performance with the reality of comprehensive evaluation of the training program of selected sprinter. Methodology: The content analysis of training diary was used as a method of the thesis. We obtained and reviewed selected general training indicators (OTU) and STU for sprinters in athletics from the training diary. In OTU section we focused on volume of training days and training units while total loadtime and number of days of training restrictions due to medical disability. InSTU, we focused especially on the development of acceleration and maximum speed (totalvolume in km), the development of speed endurance (km) development of dynamic forces through running with load (km), further bouncing I and II (evaluated in number of repetitions) and strengthening with the load above 20% of the body weight(estimated in t onnes)....

Jakoubek, Jiří ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Vindušková, Jitka (referee)
Title of bachelor thesis: Analysis of a training load for 400 meter hurdles race. Elaborated: Jiri Jakoubek Supervisor: PhDr. Ales Kaplan, Ph.D. Aim of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to elaborate content analysis of training load and to compare universal and special training indicators during two consecutive annual training cycles, specifically during the 2009 - 2010 and 2010 - 2011 annual training cycles at 400 meter hurdles race. Methodology: Data for the practical part of the thesis were obtained by using quantitative content analysis method, which means that individual special as well as universal training indicators were acquired from personal training diaries. Those indicators were then evaluated according to intensity level, rest interval and classification into periods of annual training cycle. For quantitative comparison, indicators of workload were divided into universal and special ones. Results: Very important influencing factor of performance progress at 400 meter hurdles race is increased number of stretches for most specific training indicators, especially in the endurance part. However, huge increase of workload in 2011 in this also resulted in overstrain of an athlete that is obvious from detailed analysis of individual microcycles. Training volume was emphasized during...

HEPTATHLONIST'S TRAINING Objectives: The main objective of this work is to evaluate my performance development in relation to the training completed. The second objective is to find opportunities for further performance enhancement. Tasks: Analysis and evaluation of the performance development and training volume based on the training diary data. Analysis and evaluation of the technique of single disciplines in combined events using video recordings and kinograms. Methods: This work uses methods of analysis and comparison. Results: The analysis of the performance development since 2003 discloses a gradual increase in performance in relation to the training completed. My strongest disciplines in heptathlon proved to be high jump, javelin throw and 800m run. The training analysis suggests further possibilities in performance enhancement.
