Parental Alienation Syndrome by former users of services from the Outreach Outpatient Centre of the House of Three Wishes

The work deals with Parental Alienation Syndrome and connects it to the separation of parents or in their process of a breakup. It also deals with selected work options, specifically work with parents in the conflict and the actual work with the family in the presence of this syndrome. The theoretical part is a chapter of parents'separation and a chapter of Parental Alienation Syndrome. The practical part includes a description of the research, evaluation and conclusions. The main objective of the research is to analyze the situation of the family, giving rise to the syndrome from the perspective of the alienated parents. Parental Alienation Syndrome is a high risk for society and its occurrence or consequences are not negligible. Topicality is given to the large number of separations and divorces in our society.

Gender in social work - content analysis of the periodical since year 2000

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic "Gender in the context of social work - content analysis of specialized periodicals since 2000" has only the theoretical part, supported by texts from selected reviewed professional journals. The theoretical part is divided into six chapters. Each of the individual chapters is covers one field of social work, which the selected periodicals are dedicated to. In the first chapter the goal of the Bachelor thesis is outlined. In the second chapter the texts from selected professional reviewed periodicals since 2000 are described. The third chapter explains the concept of gender and its development in the Czech Republic and abroad. The fourth chapter moves specifically to gender in social work. In the chapters five till seven the thesis concerns about specific areas of social work, where gender is a very substantial matter. 1 Summary Životní situace žen žijících v azylovém domě Life Situation of Woman in The Shelter Jana Súkeníková The bachelor work devotes problems in the social act, which can bring mothers with children to the shelter houses. The main research question sounds: "What way of life brought women to the shelter?" The theoretical part of this work includes definition social functioning, the concept of living situations. The subsequent term, models and methodologies situation. This part describes characteristics and activities of shelter houses for mothers and children in crisis too. The second, empriric, part is composed of the methodolical section. For this research used a qualitative research method. The third section contains a description of the equipment that I have examined. This section presents the research sample and the results obtained from the interviews.

Diploma thesis "Behavioral symptoms in sexually abused children, families access and response of social workers" focuses on clarifying the issue of child sexual abuse and its course. The introductory chapters deal with explaining the concept of sexual abuse and the possible occurrence. It characterized by potential victims, offenders and the possible risks. The work focuses on social and psychosomatic manifestations of children who are victims of sexual abuse. It compares the responses of children by age and sex. The important part is the revelation of the incident. Revealed is the most deliverance victim of pathological behavior. The work describes the victim may have reasons for concealing situation, how it reacts family after disclosure. How the assistence of social workers in contact with victims of sexual abuse.But also what measures are needed to prevent further deprivation of the child. Determination of cloud types from satellite radiometric measurements

The thesis is focused on analysis and possible modifications of methods and procedures allowing the determination of various cloud types using the satellite data. Today, the main methods are concentrated around two the most applied international projects, one being developed for the instrument MODIS on board American Terra and Aqua polar satellites, and the other one being developed for the instrument SEVIRI on the European geostationary satellite Meteosat. The algorithms used for automatic discrimination of several cloud types operationally are created on these models. The American program MODIS Atmosphere have been created by NASA and the European program NWC SAF have been developed by organization EUMETSAT. Content of the thesis is to specify how input parameters influence final result of cloud determination in both models, and how results are depending on the external meteorological and geographical conditions during data acquisition. The effort will be given to identification of main drawbacks at two models and to identify conditions when their respective application is limited, their results different and to make steps towards possible modifications to mitigate the drawbacks. Accountability(ies) in Term of Social Work

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to present individual interpretations of the concept of "accountability" made by workers who provide services in sheltered workshops to people with disabilities in one particular organization. The research of the interpretations focused on the individual as well as on the shared. The qualitative research done by interviewing employees in the grounds of the organisation brought following findings. In broad sense, accountability is comprehended by the employees either as a procedure or a determintaion by a certain verb. Freedom and possibility of conscious estimation of consequences is characteristic for the first case. The reflection includes the frame as well as the action as such. In the second case the definition of accountability is done by means of verb specification. The reflection focuses on the verb and its interpretations. The two approaches of the "Procedure" and "Determination by verb" are almost the same in the broad sense and in profesional sense too. The range of accountability is deeply specified by the scope of jobsheet. There are two more concepts of accountability in terms of profession: Formal (methodic) and Felt-level. Cílem projektu je vhodným managementem ochránit a posílit cenný genofond ohrožené borovice blatky v České republice o geneticky čisté potomstvo. Analýzou DNA ověřit genetickou čistotu reprezentativních jedinců vybraných podle fenotypu pro kontrolované opylení. Získané geneticky čisté osivo použít jako výchozí materiál pro reprodukci borovice blatky v in vitro a ex vitro podmínkách. V roce 2007 byly řešeny tyto úkoly: 1. Základní terénní měření vybraného jádrového území PR Borkovická blata. 2. Provedení asanačních zásahů na uvedené lokalitě, odstranění vybraných fertilních jedinců Pinus sylvestris. 3. Analýza prostorové struktury stromového patra. 4. Zajištění fyzikálních, výživových a růstově regulačních podmínek indukce in vitro regenerace v metodických pokusech z osiva Arboreta Sofronka. 5. Metodické pokusy pro optimalizaci postupu izolace DNA.
