Soft skills analysis of selected manager

The manager. This term is generally known but not everyone know all the circumstances of managers' work. The field of my bachelor thesis are soft skills and its analysis. Theoretical part serves general overview of the most important soft skills which the manager should dispose. There are mentioned not only particular levels of managers but as well introduced the aim of soft skills which are very important characteristics of manager. Soft skills analysis of selected manager is incorporated in research part of the thesis. The main focus is especially on which soft skills dispose the manager and how these skills influencing the enterprise and its employees. The qualitative research was based on interviews with employees, manager and his sister. Thanks the different points of view on this topic was achieved triangulation. Results presents possible improvements for effective communication.

The evaluation of seed properties of Lathyrus pratensis and Vicia cracca and their employment in permanent grasslands.

The theme of the thesis are climbing legumes meadow vetchling (Lathyrus pratensis) and tufted vetch (Vicia cracca). The literature search defines watched kinds of legumes and their occurence in permanent grassland. There is summarized seed growing of legumes because of its problematic production. Legumes are valuable components of grassland especially thanks to fixation of nitrogen and high capacity of proteins. The practical part is focused on observation of floristic compilation of watched locations for three years. Particular locations were compared from the point of view of changes in land management and weather. Pods and seeds of observed kinds were collected and evaluated in single years. Experiments of seed's field germination were done after different period from picking and in case of various treatment.

Biological characteristics and grow conditions for climbing legumes in permanent grasslands

This bachelor´s work is focused on the climbing legumes. Literature review summarizes the importance and ecological requirements of species of meadow vetchling (Lathyrus pratensis) and tufted vetch (Vicia cracca) and describes vegetation types with the occurrence of climbing legumes. Legumes are excellent forage, but they also contain some antinutritional substances and are often attacked by pests and diseases. Production of seed is difficult because of uneven ripening, dehiscent pods, seed dormancy and hard seeds. In the practical part were at selected localities conducted botanical images. These localities were compared with each other in terms of vegetation composition. On the localities were collected pods of monitored species. Seeds were after shelling used to determine seedling and germination.

Comparison of the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. from the perspective of financial analysis based on available data

The aim of the present thesis is to compare the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. from the perspective of financial analysis based on available data from 2006 to 2009. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. In the first part, I describe financial analysis, namely its development, purpose, process, calculation of individual indicators and their informative values. In the practical part, based on calculated indicators, I attempt to compare and evaluate the development of the companies MIPEXA s.r.o. and ČKD Nové Energo a.s. and their reactions to external events. Both companies conduct business in the same field and have their headquarters in the Czech Republic; they differ in size and their financial possibilities.

Informedness of primiparas about the care of newborn.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the informedness of primiparas about a newborn child care. The theoretical part of the thesis explains terms physiological newborn child, his/her postnatal adaptation and basic care of a newborn child. It describes the basic acts that the nurses aim to teach all mothers in hospital, such as changing nappies, bathing, caring of the umbilical scar and handling a newborn child. It also describes the equipment needed for basic care of a child. The practical part of the thesis raised five objectives and five hypotheses. The first objective was to compare the level of informedness of primiparas in two hospitals in the Czech Republic (Oblastní nemocnice Příbram, a.s. and Nemocnice České Budějovice, a.s.). The hypothesis that the informedness of primiparas in Oblastní nemocnice Příbram, a.s. is lower has not been confirmed. The other objectives were to ascertain the level of informedness of primiparas about bathing techniques, treatment of the umbilical scar and handling a new-born child, and the sources from which the primiparas obtain most information. The hypothesis that primiparas have sufficient information about bathing techniques, care of the umbilical scar and the ways how to take a new-born child from the cot and how to hold the child correctly, and the hypothesis that they obtain most information from the nurses in hospital and, when being out of hospital, from the Internet have been confirmed. The results of the research are presented in charts and compared with technical literature in the respective chapter. The bachelor thesis could serve as a source of information both for students and for mothers-to-be.

The role the pedagogue of free time at old people's homes

The main concern of this work is the asset of the graduate of the course (field of study) Leisure time pedagogy as an employee in a rest home, who is responsible for the organization of the leisure time. This work is divided in two parts, theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical part describes the ageing process, old age, its periodical division, physical, psychological and social changes connected with this process and the demographic trends related to the ageing of the population in the Czech Republic. It also includes a general description of a rest home, outlines the work of the leisure time pedagogue and discusses the topic of leisure time activities in a rest home. The practical part includes description of three rest homes situated in the South Moravian Region, where the survey was carried out in February and March 2010. This survey was mainly focused on leisure time activities of subjects and the work of leisure time pedagogues. The last part of the thesis contains the examination of hypotheses by the results of the conducted survey. Hypotheses were stated as follows: 1. Workers at rest homes systematically and regularly plan and organize leisure time activities for their clients. 2. Occasionally held events or regular leisure time activities are planned, organized and carried out mostly by social workers. 3. The clients at rest homes are interested in regular leisure time activities. 4. Most clients at rest home who are permanently confined to bed aren{\crq}t provided with activation therapy in their leisure time.

Possibilities of grave and restful dying on the longterm ill department in Hospital České Budějovice Inc.

The work deals with the topic of palliative care and the background of such wards, as well as of the possibilities to provide such care. Dying is inseparable part of life. Peaceful and dignified dying is burdened with problems within hospitals. The principles of palliative care are difficult to apply even in wards where it can be supposed that considerable percentage of patients of such wards is indicated for such care. Such ward is also the ward of subsequent care. The theoretic part describes the significance of palliative medicine, the general view on dying, as well as stages of dying which the dying person and his or her family passes are described here. Further there is information of hospices, dying from the point of view of lay public and from the point of view of a health care worker. The research was performed in form of non-standardized interview with selected 15 nurses working in the ward of subsequent care at least 3 years and ready to hold a conversation on that topic. The research confirmed that the nurses in wards of subsequent care have knowledge of the specifics of nursing care for dying people, but they feel need to go on educating themselves further in that topic. All of them state that the problems of palliative care are very topical in this ward. Further it was found out that this ward is not technically equipped with single-bedded rooms and dignified rooms for communication with the family. All nurses think that this topic should be paid more attention.

The hyperactive children at school and family (casuistic study)

This thesis deals with hyper action problems of children at school and at home. Theoretical part of this project deal with ADHD syn-drome. It describes syndrome definition, etiology, symptoms and historical evolution. Furthermore it contains demonstrations of chil-dren with ADHD syndrome. It describes correct and wrong children upbringing from family or school. This part also deals with prepara-tory school classes and Romany minor. Practical part of this project contain processed casuistic of selected children (Romany boys) with different intellect and with ADHD symptoms.

Payment cards

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the features of payment cards as well as the analysis of the payment transaction. The first part presents the overview of the historical development of payment cards, their legal regulation, their requirements, kinds of payment cards and their use nowadays. The second part describes a non-cash payment transaction by payment card and analyses both technical and accounting processes of this transaction.
