This diploma thesis deals with the issue of reporting in a company. Through a deep analysis of internal and external environment, it seeks to identify and define the company's needs in order to determine the ideal form of business reports. The theoretical part describes what reporting is, what it serves and what general reasons there are for its compilation. In the practical part, I try to find the reasons for compiling reports in the company and define the form of business reports in the drafting solution. The conclusion of this thesis evaluates its goal achievement.

This bachelor thesis deals with a financial analysis of a company, trying to assess the current overall economic situation, its causes and its future development. The theoretical part describes what a financial analysis is, what it serves for and what methodological ways of processing it applies. The practical part carries out a financial analysis itself based on information about a company and theoretical knowledge. The conclusion of the thesis includes suggestions and recommendations to address identified weaknesses that will lead to further business development.

Reaction of librarians to political and social situation in 1968

This bachelor thesis deals with the librarian activity in the period of the Prague Spring in 1968. Its main goal is to determine, based on the period press, the degree of involvement of the librarians in the reform process, the support as well as the criticism of the contemporary state and their demands for changes, in both professional and labour spheres. It describes the process of formation of the Association of Library and Information Professionals. It also discusses the relationship with the Slovak librarianship and the founding of the Slovak library association. The final part deals with the specific political activity of the librarians which is illustrated by the reactions to on-going changes during the reform process. That includes the reaction to the Action Program of the Communist Party and the support for this program, the reaction to the Warsaw Letter from July 1968 and the subsequent August occupation.

Scouting in Havlíčkův Brod in the years 1919-1940

This Bachelor thesis deals with the Scout Movement in Havlíčkův Brod since its founding in 1919 to the first Nazi prohibition in 1940. It mainly concentrates on the Scouts organized in Svaz junáků-skautů Republiky československé and their internal structure, it offers an analysis of the Scout troops and their meetings, camps and the membership, it also discusses the financial situation and the relationship with the Scouts in the surrounding towns. The second part focuses on the influence of the Scout troops on the public and it tries to answer the questions, how the Scout Movement was viewed by the society in Havlíčkův Brod and how the Scouts influenced it by their public activities, what sort of relation it had with other organizations and how it was reflected in the local press. In the final part, the work exceeds the specified topic and it considers the end of scouting and some Scouts continuing their work in illegality.

Segmentation of biscuits and wafers market in relation to the Kolonáda brand perception by young people

The main objective of the diploma thesis is to determine the perception of the Kolonáda brand by young people and how to become relevant for them. This would not be possible without specific knowledge of the whole market and without knowledge regarding the segments of biscuits and wafers consumers. The market segmentation is based on MML-TGI data collected by the research agency Median, five segments are revealed. I have also implemented my own questionnaire research on a sample of 480 respondents aged up to 34 years including. Based on the results of the practical part, recommendations for the Kolonáda brand are proposed -- how to become more relevant for the young consumers and stay attractive for the current consumers.

This dissertation titled Content management systems and their implementation focuses in its theoretical part on the terms content and content management. Then it defines particular types of content management systems and their functions, both the general ones and the specific ones for particular types of systems. It also focuses on the using of particular terms in the field of content management systems and it defines some differences in their interpretation. In the theoretical part it also describes how the organization applying the project approach to implementing of content management systems as from requirements setting through the selection criteria for comparing and selecting the appropriate system. The output of the practical part is the selection of suitable web content management system for Vyšší odborná škola a Obchodní akademie Chotěboř. The practical part is an analysis of requirements, determination of appropriate criteria for the selection system, a comparison of systems based on these criteria, cost-benefit analysis and feasibility study.

Teoretická část práce obsahuje vysvětlení pojmů proces a procesní řízení. Zahrnuje také zásady pro efektivní měření a monitorování procesů, přehled možných způsobů měření a různých ukazatelů měření. Praktická část obsahuje identifikaci podstatných procesů ve firmě GCE, s.r.o. a dále se zaměřuje na proces nákupu. Je zde definován problém firmy: příliš rozsáhlá dokumentace a na procesu nákupu jsou demonstrovány konkrétní návrhy na zlepšení.
