Vliv pěstebních opatření na strukturu mladého březového porostu

In this thesis was observed an influence of silvicultural treatment on the structure of young birch stand. On location Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí was chosen a 10 years old birch stand and on location Hlubočec a 15 years old one. The stands originated spontaneously from natural regeneration on clearing. On both locations were researched two stands in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Within the stands, control variants and the thinning ones were established in 2015. In the case of variants focused on a thinning was executed a repeated intervention in 2016 and in the same time a pruning of a part of individuals in the spring of 2017. On all variants all the woody plants were recorded with a height above 2 metres, which were measured a diameter at breast height (cm) during the years 2015–2017. On intervention variants at marked trees (samplers) were measured a total tree height (cm), an occurrence of a dry treetop (cm) and an occurrence of a live treetop (cm) as well. At the beginning and at the end of 2017 was also measured a treetop projection (cm) at all individuals on the area. Non-interventional stands reported a high number of individuals with a low diameter at breast height in both cases, which represented a significantly low resistence of these stands. This led to a reduction in stability, especially against the snow. Despite a major reduction in the number of individuals in the intervention stands, the proportion of trees was still higher compared to the mentioned literature. In response to this intervention was recorded an increased growth or base. The differences here did not manifest themselves as statistically significant during the first year after the intervention. Based on the results, which showed especially significant differences in the density of the cultivated stand with the non-interventional one can be recommended a very powerful intervention towards the release of the stand and the increase of stability.

This diploma thesis is exploring the plan for the construction of kindergarten in the city of Velíková. The kindergarten is located in the north part of the properties with numbers 528/1 and 63. It is a two-floor building with partial basement. The building is designed for three classes with the total number of pupils being 54. In the western part of the property a car park is designed with 18 parking spaces in total. From the layout perspective, on the first floor, there are two classes and a utility rooms for the employees. All rooms have a separate entrance, so that there is no obstruction or interference. On the second floor, there is one class and a school staffroom situated. There are storage and a technical facility located in the cellar. The building’s supporting system is made from sand-lime bricks. Reinforced concrete panels Spiroll create the roof construction. The diploma thesis contains project documentation for construction work.

Practical Ethical Questions in Mobile Specialized Paliative Care

This diploma thesis deals with practical ethical issues in specialized mobile palliative care. First of all the terms necessary for understanding the context are explained. History of palliative care. Than introduction to the legal order and the principles of palliative care in the Czech Republic follows. Diploma thesis summarizes the phases of coping with the disease and the loss of a close person. This is both from adult's and a child's point of view. Next section deals with spiritual and pastoral care of dying, four principles of medical ethics and informed consent. Based on an interview with MUDr. Irena Závadová, supported by specialized literature, the ethical issues and theire possible solutions are mentioned too. The bachelor thesis is focused on designing residential building located in Kroměříž 1539/61, 1539/55. The building is a four-storey single-detached residence, which has partial basement and eight housing units. On the first floor there are two units and on the second and third floor there are three units. Masonry is designed with ceramic blocks. Ceiling system is based on semi-mounted ceilings with ceramic inserts. Roof construction is a single-skin flat profile roof. The bachelor thesis contains project documentation for construction work.

Data analysis was performed based on information about mineral fodder given by the manufacturers of mineral fodder as well as comparison of fodder types for particular kinds of hoofed game. Data were also acquired by questionnaire survey involving questions about characteristics of hunting ground, type, form and mineral fodder carrier, time of laying, system of additional feeding and game management system. In the final part of the survey there were questions considering changes of damage by game in forest and agriculture growth before and after application of mineral fodder.

Plant sugar metabolism and arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis

The study of arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis (AMS) - the mutualist relationship between the most of land plants and evolutionary old fungal group Glomeromycota - is becoming a prestigious topic. The prevalence of and extent of physiological action of AMS on plants is very interesting for the plant biology itself, but its importance grows, notably in time of global climate change, frequent soil degradation and ascending exhaustion of mineral fertilizer reserves. Although the flows in AMS of some minerals, like of phosphorus was enlightened, carbon exchange between the symbionts is still poorly understood. In this experimental work, I utilized the boom of molecular and bioinformatic methods in the quest for completely unexplained carbon flows. The organisms used include barrel medic (Medicago truncatula), the model legume for symbiotic relationships, biotic, and abiotic stresses; Rhizophagus irregularis, the widely used fungus for such experimental studies of AMS; and Sinorhizobium meliloti, the nodulating nitrogen-fixing bacterium compatible with the barrel medic. How works mycorrhizal pathway in phosphorus acquisition?

The plant takes up mineral nutrients by its roots from the soil. Minerals are available in the soil solution in the form of ions and can be translocated across the cytoplasmatic membrane into the cell of the plant. If the plant is alone, we talk about direct pathway. In case of some minerals, which are not available so easily, the plant finds solution in mutualistic relationship - the mycorrhizal symbiosis. By mycorrhizal pathway the nutrients come from much larger volume of soil, than the plant could reach, and intake of low-mobile elements, like phosphorus, becomes facilitated. How is the phosphorus taken up through mycorrhizal pathway, how is it regulated and accessory knowledge are the topic of this bachelors thesis.
