Design of chemically resistant coatings using secondary raw materials and hazardous waste
Stodolovská, Šárka ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
On the basis of theoretical knowledge gained from Czech and foreign technical literature, two types of coatings using fillers based on secondary raw materials, including hazardous waste, is designed and experimentally verified. The expected use of the proposed coating systems, both PREMIUM and ECOLOGY, is the protection of building structures that are permanently stressed by increased chemical stress. When designing the PREMIUM coating material, emphasis is primarily focused on chemical resistance and functional parameters, and the ecological performance of the raw materials used is monitored primarily with the ECOLOGY coating material. In both cases, it is important to maintain a favorable price / value ratio.
Development of highly resistant composite using secondary raw materials and cast basalt
Černý, Pavel ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with development of high resistant composite, which brings its properties closer to the melted basalt products. This fact will allow substitution of basalt elements in hostile chemical environment by newly developed material and completes its product line. High resistant composite also consists of secondary raw material in highest possible amount. Material that is being evolved carries high strength, abrasion resistance and is also resistable in hostile chemical environment.
Development of adhesive material for the installation of basalt elements on silicate foundations under severe exposure conditions
Bergerová, Kamila ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with research and subsequent development of a new adhesive material for the installation of nonabsorbent basalt elements on silicate foundations under severe exposure conditions. For commercially produced tile adhesives, only primary raw materials are used as fillers. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the possibility of utilization of secondary raw materials as fillers in the tile adhesive. The thesis is mainly focused on the durability of these materials after exposure to the aggressive environment.
Lightweight mortars with content of alternative raw materials and resistant to adverse effects
Morkusová, Kristýna ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes research and following development of lightweight cement mortars with alternative raw materials. Attention was focused on study of the effects of extreme influences such as high temperature (up to 1200 °C), freeze-thaw and agressive sulfur dioxide. Verification of durability of developed mortars was realized using physical and mechanical tests (density and strength), physical and chemical methods (computed tomography) and scanning electron microscopy. Assessment of durability was realized in a longer period of time (90 days).
Development of progressive polymer anchor material
Žlebek, Tomáš ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with development of a new progressive anchor material on the polymer base. Nowadays, it is effort to utilize secondary raw materials in building industry as much as possible both from an environmental aspects in order to save primary energy sources and the reduction of waste and also due to economic reasons. Therefore, there is an effort to utilize high amount of suitable and appropriately treated secondary raw materials into the anchor materials. The main aim of this work is to develop high quality anchor material characterized by excellent ratio between speed and strength growth, high chemical resistance, thermal resistance and particularly minimal shrinkage. This new material is designed especially for anchoring building structures heavy machines steel barriers and other elements.
Dispersed reinforcement influence on the maturation of polymercement materials
Zaťko, Petr ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on polymercement materials with dispersed reinforcement. The aim of this work is development of suitable polymercement mixture and monitoring of the impact of dispersed reinforcement on the course of maturation of these materials and physico-mechanical properties. The effect of high temperatures on the properties of the mortar is also examined. Emphasis is placed on the use of alternative resources and byproducts. Mixed binder of cement and slag and admixture of microsilica was used. Recycled cellulose was used as dispersed reinforcement and was compared with commercial polypropylene fibers.
Comparison of dynamic modulus of elasticity repair materials exposed to thermal stress
Munduchová, Markéta ; Jakubík, Aleš (referee) ; Brožovský, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis is composed of theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part there are findings related to structure changes of concrete exposed to high temperatures. Models used to simulate high temperature exposure of concrete are described in this thesis. Evaluation of internal structure damage is appropriate by using non-destructive methods, which determine dynamic modulus of elasticity in compression and tension. These methods includes ultrasonic impulse method and resonation method and therefore research was made of articles contains these methods. In experimental part of diploma thesis the test specimens was made from repair materials from UTHD and commercially produced repair materials. The test specimens were subjected to thermal load: 200, 400, 600, 800 °C. Damage of internal structure was examined by ultrasonic impulse method and resonation method.
