The theme of this bachelor's thesis is "The preparation of secondary pedagogy school students and graduates focusing on art activities in an infant school". The main objective is to uncover how students and graduates evaluate and assess their own readiness for performing art-themed activities in a given infant school establishment. In the theoretical section of this thesis I looked into the characteristics of secondary schools. Furthermore, I attempted to analyse and describe what methodology was used for composing art lessons on these schools. During the analysis I followed up on the Framework Education Programme for the field of preschool and extracurricular pedagogy, along with the School Education Programme; both of which are the merit of this research. Moreover, I utilized the theoretical section for my description of pre-school education, the art-themed activities in infant schools and the personality of a pre-school teacher and an art teacher. The crucial chapter of the theoretical section is the one that evaluates the readiness of students from the point of view of the professional competences and self-efficacy. I looked for the answer to the main inquiry of this thesis via a research survey on which an apt number of students, graduates and teachers of the pedagogical secondary school...

The practical, research part of the work includes the idea of making a postcard machine, which would allow convenient purchase and immediate sending of postcards from a specific place. People would have the opportunity to choose from a certain number of curated postcard collections, the main essence of which would be to authentically capture the spirit of the given locality. This initiative would not only support local artists who would contribute creatively to the designs of the postcards, but also allow collaboration with non-profit organizations, with...
Color as a means of expression
Flídrová, Tereza ; Jakubcová Hajdušková, Lucie (advisor) ; Vartecká, Anna (referee)
This thesis explores the importance of colour in art education as a means of expression. The topic is approached from four distinct perspectives: 1) as natural material and matter, 2) as a physical phenomenon involving light, 3) as a sense-perceived phenomenon, and 4) as a subjectively perceived phenomenon and means of communication. Each standpoint is demonstrated with the work of a selected artist, including František Skála, Radka Bodzewicz, Bridget Riley, and Mark Rothko. The goal of this essay is to examine the ways in which colour is taught in art education, with regard to current educational requirements. For that reason, the didactic part of the essay takes the form of a qualitative research project, which draws on an analysis of existing educational literature, RVP ZV and ZUŠ, and semi-structured interviews with six art teachers at primary school and elementary school of art in Jindřichov Hradec, as well as 32 students. Drawing from the information gathered throughout this essay, I conducted two validated and introspective instructional lessons for the primary school and the elementary school of art on the topic of Color Creation and Color and Emotions. In the conclusion of the thesis, I summarize the information found. KEYWORDS colour, art education, artistic means of expression,...
