Multichannel instrumentation for electrochemical measurement from sensor array
Žák, Jaromír ; Kizek, René (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The work deals with n-channel system enabling many sample analysis at sort time from sensor array using electrochemical methods. The 8x12 sensor arrays are formed from 3 electrodes system created on PCB which can be used for heavy metal analysis and toxic substances determination. The control unit switches each 3 electrode sensor to 8 channel precise potentiostat which was designed for electrochemical analysis with current sensitivity below 10 pA. The potentiostat can synchronize with control unit. Developed system is able to measure up to eight single inputs and may be simply converted to measure other nonchemical values. Measured data will be sent to user-friendly application in computer and analyzed or saved consequently.
Creation of electrochemical sensors for DNA analysis
Šílený, Jan ; Adam, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The objective of this work was creation of an electrochemical sensor for DNA analysis using thick layer technology. Development of sensors is described from the design face with particular steps of realization along with theory. Measurements with results and evaluation of possible application in common use are described.
VFA and CFA comparison
Vystrčil, Marek ; Hubálek, Jaromír (referee) ; Stehlík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on comparison of operational amplifiers structures with voltage (VFA) and current (CFA) feedback. In the theoretical part there is an analysis properties of operational amplifiers. Attention is paid to advantages of particular amplifiers in concrete networks. The practical part contains the simulations of those networks with an aim to assess characteristic properties and a difference between applied circuits. I used the operational amplifier µA741 for the simulation of the structure VFA. I used the amplifier AD8011 for the simulation with current feedback. I added the theoretical and practical differences between comparative structures.
Impedance methods in toxic substances detection
Feber, Václav ; Prášek, Jan (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The aim of this work was focused on the determination of pesticides concentration in water solution. Pesticides are indissoluble in aqueous solutions and impedance or voltametric/amperometric response of the pure water and water with pesticides is identical. Therefore was necessary find a way how rapidly, effectively and economically measure the pesticides concentration. One way is measurement of conductivity with electrochemical microsensors after enzymatic reaction.
Nanotechnology in construction of sensors for detection of hydrogen
Macháčková, Marina ; Hrdý, Radim (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
Aligned arrays of nanostructures has recently attracted great interest because of their unique properties and potential use in a broad range of technological applications. The nanostructures can be employed when it is essential to create large surface on a small area in electronic device as sensor technology or energetics e.g. solar panels. One of the simplest and low-cost methods of fabricating nanostructures is template-assisted electrochemical deposition. This method also enables good control over the nanostructure dimensions and can be used to deposit a wide range of materials. The proposed method consists of two steps. At first, a non-conductive nanoporous template has to be created and then nanostructures are formed by electrodeposition into the template which is coated with a metal on one of its sides or placed on a metal surface.
Electronic detector for thin-film gas microsensors
Rozštípil, Jakub ; Stehlík, Jiří (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The general aim of Master’s thesis is to design and execute electronics in the SMT device view for thin film gas sensors and to study principle of gas sensor functionality based on semiconducting oxides. The SMT device contains temperature controller and electronics which is able to scan the concentration of gas on the sensor surface. It is designed for controlling of four sensors and has to communicate with computer for setting of initial conditions and scanning of concentration of gas. The practical part of Master’s thesis contains design and construction of electronics and software making.
Pulse anodization of aluminium for nanoporous structures creation.
Electronic instrument for environment monitoring during plants growing
Žák, Jaromír ; Kuchta, Radek (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
The main goal of this project is to make electronic instrument for monitoring environment during plants growing for Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno. The new device will replace current analog recorder of temperature and humidity. New device will be extended by measuring atmospheric pressure, illumination and CO2 concentration. Main advantage of electronic measuring is better lucidity of gained values. New concept allows easier comparison new values with earlier measured data.
Thermostat for system testing at low temperatures
Sedláček, Jiří ; Hrdý, Radim (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with proposal and construction of device that should serve for testing of developed electronic circuits at lower temperatures than the ambient temperature in laboratory. Thermoelectric Peltier’s coolers are used for cooling. The temperature regulation is provided by microcontroller control. The thesis is divided into three parts. First part includes necessary theory for realization of the device. In second part there is the detailed description of construction and function of the device. The third part summarises the measured parameters of the device. The thesis includes the technical documentation.
