Grit-off photovoltaic system
Horváth, Martin ; Dolenský, Jan (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The restoring sources of energy and their development brings the question how these sources can be utilized in the best way. Master`s thesis deals with photovoltaic systems. It describes their history line, actual situation and also brings some expectations in the future. There are mentioned some materials and technologies which are used for its manufacture, conditions of using in practice, advantages and disadvantages and finally a real mobile application of photovoltaic which serves for a production of electricity that is saved in the battery.

Utilization of biomass energy
Horváth, Martin ; Bok, Jaromír (referee) ; Procházka, Zdeněk (advisor)
Restoring sources of a energy and their development brings questions how these can be these sources the best utilized. The main aim of my bachelor`s thesis is an acquainted with methods of biomass conversion to energetic potential and his advantage. Than is mentioned proper project of the biogas plant and calculation of produced electric energy quantity in select cogeneration unit base on data on specific excrements production bred pigs and biogas production from slurry. The result is a variant evaluation of economy of the biogas plant operation for agricultural enterprise according to number of bred pigs and possibility of electric energy utilization.
Analysis of the use of marketing tools in the "Nová Zbrojovka" project
Horváth, Martin ; Budíková, Michaela (referee) ; Dohnal, Radek (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes the issue of marketing strategy and marketing plan for the set goals of the Nová Zbrojovka development project. The thesis analyzes the effectiveness of the used marketing tools and comes up with proposals for further use of the analyzed marketing tools. Based on the acquired data, a suitable strategy was selected for the development project to achieve marketing goals. The thesis outlines the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in marketing.

The biological significance of changes in the vascular wall and atherosclerotic plaque for the development of atherosclerotic disease of the coronary arteries
Horváth, Martin ; Hájek, Petr (advisor) ; Poledne, Rudolf (referee) ; Kovárník, Tomáš (referee)
Acute complications of atherosclerosis are typically caused by arterial occlusion due to acute thrombosis forming over a ruptured vulnerable atherosclerotic plaque (VP). Early identification of such VP prior to their rupture could help prevent these events. At the same time, methods for assessing cardiovascular risk are focused on measures at the population level and are not sensitive and specific enough to assess the risk of individual patients. We therefore focused on the possibilities of in vivo detection of VP using biomarkers and invasive imaging methods. First, we focused on the detection of microRNAs (miRs), which have been investigated in recent years as promising biomarkers for a number of diseases, including atherosclerosis. We determined miR levels using quantitative polymerase chain reaction in peripheral venous blood samples from patients in very early phase of ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), which served as the closest clinical model of acute VP rupture. The results led to the identification of two miRs (miR-331 and miR-151-3p) that were deregulated in STEMI and could be biomarkers of VP. In the next part of the research, we dealt with the possibilities of invasive imaging of VP using intravascular ultrasound and near- infrared spectroscopy (IVUS and NIRS). We confirmed...
Dimensional analysis for HD languages
Horváth, Martin ; Bednárek, David (advisor) ; Jirovský, Václav (referee)
The engineers today use special description languages for developing electronic circuits and these enable them to test their models prior to their industrial construction. However, none of these languages provides sufficiently complex means to define physical dimensions and units for quantities used in the models and to check their consistency in all equations and computations. The inconsistency in the usage of physical units can be caused by plain typing errors but sometimes represents deep conceptual flaws. The tracking of these errors can be very difficult as the models commonly consist of thousands of lines of code. This master's thesis sets itself two goals. The first is to analyze the problem of physical dimensions, formalize their properties and devise an algorithm for automatic checking of their usage in the models written in hardware description languages. The second is to design and implement the system for annotating models with dimensional information and to implement the algorithm of dimensional analysis as a module into commercial tool ModLyng which is the integrated environment for developing analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits. The usage of this automatic analysis will help engineers in writing correct models and will speed up their development.
Holandská choroba v ekonomike Saudskej Arábie
Horváth, Martin
Horváth, M. Dutch disease in the economy of Saudi Arabia. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018. The bachelor thesis focuses on the occurrence of Dutch disease in Saudi Arabia's economy. By using examples of other countries in which the Dutch disease has occurred in the past, basic terms are summarized and common principles discussed. The goal of the bachelor thesis is econometric testing of Dutch disease impacts in the economy of Saudi Arabia. For this purpose, the economy of Saudi Arabia was briefly described, including the development of significant economic indicators. The development of the economy and the results of the tests were evaluated with respect to the general economic theory and the theory of Dutch disease.

Motoric performance of pupils with different movement regimes
Horváth, Martin ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Kovářová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Motoric performance of pupils with different movement regimes Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to assess the physical capabilities of the pupils of the second degree of elementary schools. Another aim is to compare the performance of pupils with common range of physical education and pupils with extended range of physical education. Subsequently, the results will be compared. Methods: The thesis was conducted in the form of empirical quantitative and qualitative research. The basic level of physical capabilities was determined on the basis of the UNIFITTEST (6-60) test battery. The qualitative analysis was carried out by the means of the evaluation of histogram, using an F-test and a T-test. The chosen test sample were pupils of two schools with extended range of physical education, and pupils of two schools with common range of physical education. Results: There is a noticeable difference tested physical capabilities between the pupils of elementary schools with extended range of physical education and of elementary schools with common range of physical education. Generally, it is possible to say that pupils of the schools with extended range of physical education demonstrate higher motoric performance in the whole UNIFITTEST (6 - 60) Keywords: physical capabilities, testing, UNIFITTEST...
