Spoustová, Ludmila ; Kubín, Petr (advisor) ; Homolka, Jaromír (referee)
Résumé Land Property, Courts and Residences of Prague Bishopric in the Time of Thobias of Bechyně The institution of Prague Bishopric has owned quite large land property since the beginnig; it growned during the time, and by the end of 13th century Prague bishops, with their own courts and showy mansions, belonged to the greatest landlords. The land property was scattered all over the whole diocese. Economic yields from several farms were concentreted in central points of each territory. This central points were also administration, ecclesiastic and cultural centres; some of them had as early as in the middle of the 13th century the status ot the city. In general, wooden or stone stronghold, in some cases a castle, and a church were present; the market privilege was as well essential. Important roads often crossed these places; mills and inns are mentioned. At the end of the 13th century, during the episcopate of Thobias of Bechyně, Bohemia suffered from great distress caused by the civil war. The property of the Church was particulary subjected to destructive invaders, and even the bishopric's property was considerably damaged, despite all protective efforts of bishop Thobias. Thus when the peace had been again restored, thorough repair was necessary. Thobias's forms book and a fragment of a land census...

The objects can be split into categories based on those characteristics. This paper looks at those categories and studies the development within.
The Master of the Madonna of monastery Seeon and his resources. Problems of his hypotetical workshop in Salzburg
Master of Madonna from Michle and his workshop
Hrabovská, Tereza ; Homolka, Jaromír (advisor) ; Mudra, Aleš (referee)
The Master of Madonna from Michle and his workshop By the progressive art-historical research on Czech, Austrian and Lusatian area several wooden sculptures from 14th century had been discovered. The sculptures are so style-similar, that it is almost sure, that if they haven't been created by the same author, they have surely arisen from the same workshop. They are ascribed to anonymous author, who is called after his most important sculpture - The Madonna from the parish church in Michle, Praque - The Master of Madonna from Michle. Because no documents about his identity or place of his activities are kept, it is possible only to determine the most probably hypothesis according to the analysis and localization of his works. To this Master the most quality works are ascribed, other works to members of his workshop and descendants. It is very difficult to point out, which works have been created by the hands of the Master or in his workshop, and in this question the researchers are not in unity (and never have been). It is not possible to result only from the typology of the sculptures, because this Master was an artist always looking for new ways of artistic expression. This work tries to bring the review of discovered works of this Master so far and to resume the opinions on their belonging to the...

Two Bavarian Pietas against a background of artistic and historical relations of Bavaria and Bohemia during the 2nd half of the 14th and the beginning of 15th Century
Dvě mnichovské sochy, pietu v kostele Panny Marie a pietu ze Seeonu, spojují gesta, typ Mariina obličeje blízký tvářím ženských postav Mistra Třeboňského oltáře, výstavba trůnu a téměř shodná kružba postranic. Na druhé straně představují piety v Bavorském národním muzeu a v kostele Panny Marie dva odlišné kompoziční typy a dva stupě vývoje krásnoslohé piety. Pieta v mnichovské Frauenkirche je starší. Uzavřenou kompozicí, robustnějším Kristovým tělem a fyziognomií tváří ještě velmi připomíná horizontální piety. Seeonská pieta patří k výše uvedeným pokročilým rysům vrcholné fázi krásného slohu.

1 SUMMARY Church of St Mauritius The Bachelor's thesis on the Church of St Mauritius pursues the history of the Sušice region and the associated reign of the Counts of Bogen, the medieval communications in South-West Bohemia, history of the village of Mouřenec, description, architectonic and historical study of the Church of St Mauritius, as well as ground-plan disposition analogies to the church of St Mauritius in Bavaria and Upper Austria. The Counts of Bogen significantly influenced the history of the Czech Kingdom and mainly the history of the Sušice region. This noble family was close-knit with the Premyslide dynasty, both by marriages and assistance in armed conflicts. During their rule until their die- out in 1242, the Counts of Bogen built up a considerable territory that became one of the most important basis for the territory ruled by the Wittelsbachs. We can learn more about the Šumava paths since the 11th century, from where origin the first verified records. According to these written records, the oldest paths across the Šumava Mountains are the St Vintíř Path and the Golden Path. These historical paths connected Bohemia with the Danubian regions around Regensburg (St Vintíř Path) and around Passau (Golden Path). The Church of St Mauritius is situated on a perch above the Otava River near the...
