Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of: Pharmaceutical technology Consultant: Doc. PharmDr. Sklubalova Zdenka, Ph.D. Student: Marketa Hofmanova Title of Thesis: Measurement of stress relaxation of mixtures of microcrystalline cellulose and calcium hydrogen phosphate intended for the preparation of tablets with theophylline The powder mixtures with theophylline were studied from the aspect of viscoelastic properties of used materials and tablets tensile strength. In the theoretical part the thesis concerned with description of materials which were used in the mixtures. They are: Microcrystalline cellulose Comprecel 102, calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrate Di-Cafos A150, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate Di-Cafos D160 and lactose SpheroLac 100. The thesis also deals with the stress relaxation test. The stress relaxation test, its evaluation by several methods and its use in the pharmacy and in different fields are described. The experimental part deals with viscoelastic characteristics of the mixtures. These characteristics were evaluated by stress relaxation test with maximal compression force 10 kN and dwell time 180 s. Also the tensile strength was evaluated. The highest values of parameters of elasticity A1-3 and plasticity P1-3 were measured in...
Organocatalytic cyclization reactions leading to bicyclic compounds
Hofmanová, Markéta ; Veselý, Jan (advisor) ; Jindřich, Jindřich (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the preparation of enaniomerically pure bicyclic compounds with sulfur bridge and based on organocatalytic cyclization reaction. Thiazolone- derived heterocycles with nitrogen and sulfur atom and α,β-unsaturated aldehydes were selected as suitable substrates for this reaction. Furthermore, spirocyclization reaction on isatin-derived ketimines was also studied in this work. Acyl chlorides, trichloro-substituted β- oxoesters, and isocyanates were selected as suitable substrates for this type of reaction. Key words Enantioselective synthesis, organocatalysis, cyclization reaction, spirocyclization, thiazol-2- one, ketimine.

Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of: Pharmaceutical technology Consultant: Doc. PharmDr. Zdeňka Šklubalová, Ph.D. Student: Markéta Hofmanová Title of Thesis: Dissolution from microfibre carriers 1. The aim of Diploma Thesis was to study of the effect of conditions of dissolution on the release of a model drug from microfibre carriers. A modified hyaluronan microfiber covered with the drug, dexamethasoni natrii phosphas, was used as a carrier. The drug was directly released from the microfibres and/or from the microfibre enclosed in a dialysis membráně into water and/or the isotonic phospate buffer medium, respectively, by using stationary and/or open-flow-dissolution method. In the stationary dissolution without dialysis membrane, the significant effect (p ≥ 0,99) of the used dissolution medium and the batches of fibres were observed. Other used methods of dissolution require further standardization of conditions.

Domestic violence Domestic violence is a topic which draws the society's attention recently. Domestic violence can be defined as all kinds of physical, sexual and psychological violence in all types of intimate relationships. My thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and empirical. The thesis aims at the common myths and prejudice about the topic and how they affect human thinking and their opinions and are the differences in the perception of men and women. The important question is the legislation in the Czech Republic as well. 88 respondents took part in the survey, 50 % male and 50 % female in four different age groups.
