Unemployment and its Social and Economical Consequences in the Přerov Region

V diplomové práci jsem se zabýval nezaměstnaností na Přerovsku a jejími sociálně ekonomickými důsledky. V období, na které jsem se při zkoumání nezaměstnanosti zaměřil došlo k několika důležitým událostem. Změnilo se územně správní členění České republiky z okresního na krajské. Bývalý okres Přerov se stal regionem Olomouckého kraje. Dalo by se předpokládat, že tato změna ovlivní statistické vykazování ukazatelů souvisejících s nezaměstnaností, což stíží mou práci. Působnost úřadů práce však zůstala na původní okresní úrovni, byla tak zachována kontinuita statistických ukazatelů. Další důležitou událostí byl vstup České republiky do Evropské unie 1. května 2004. V souvislosti s Členstvím naší země v Evropské unii byl přijat nový zákon o zaměstnanosti, který přibližuje naši legislativu předpisům o zaměstnanosti v ostatních členských zemích.

Influence of Mass Media on Citizens` Political Thinking and Behaviour

This thesis analyses the emergence and history of modern Czech media and characterizes public opinion and political culture in the context of both positive and negative influences of media on voters. It points out the important role of journalists in the world of media and the function of "Ethic Codex of Journalists". An important part of the thesis deals with research on media influence on political thought and citizens' behaviour with a reference to Czech parliamentary elections of2006.

Presidential Elections in Czechoslovakia and in the Czech Republic, with Attention to Years 1935 and 2003

In my dissertation I describe a situation around presidental elections in Czechoslovak and Czech republic. My thesis are localize on elections in the years 1935 and 2003. In the first part I compare historical and political circumstances. In the second part I write about a differences between constitutions, which were valid in these years and differences in the processes of both elections from Stenografie records of Czechoslovak (Czech) Parlament. In the end of my work is a summary of all differences and consenses and the way how to use this knowledge in practice.

The Political Parties Theory with a Focus on Social Party and French Communist Party in France and their Historical Development

Cílem mé práce bylo priblížit problematiku politických stran, jejich podstatu a význam v daném státe a priblížit vývoj politických stran ve Francii s durazem na vývoj Socialistické a Komunistické strany Francie. Mimo jiné predstavit soucasné kandidátky obou stran do prezidentských voleb 2007, které se konají 22. dubna, ale také jejich programy, tedy cíle a angažování v nadcházejícím prezidentském období v letech 2007-2012. Duvod proc jsem si vybrala Komunistickou a Socialistickou stranu ve Francii, je i ten, že Francie je celkove politicky levicove zamerena a tak jsem chtela lépe proniknout do jejich politického života a minulosti. Navíc naše zeme prošla také komunistickým vedením a tak jsem chtela pochopit rozdíly v obou zemích.

The professional careers of VŠB-TU Ostrava graduates

The presented doctoral thesis analyses the development of assertion of the graduates from the Technical University Ostrava (VŠB-TUO) on the job market in view of their education under the economic conditions and time context of the social economic transformation within the years 1992-2002. Labor and education present the basic axis of this doctoral thesis.. The analysis is based on a homogeneous data-basis compiled during repeated researches of VŠBTUO graduates which encompasses the given ten year horizon of the investigation.

Preschool Education from the Viewpoint of Gender Studies

Genderové studie zažívají v současnosti svůj rozkvět. Již nyní existuje poměrně široká teoretická i empirická základna, která nám umožňuje vyjádřovat závěry a stanoviska. Nicméně, stejně jako ve všech společenských vědních disciplínách, existují i zde protichůdné názory i protichůdné závěry výzkumů. Častokrát se není jednoduché dopátrat validních závěrů, neboť od mnohých výzkumů neuplynulo dostatek času, který by je potvrdil, nebo jsou z důvodu neustálé společenské proměny výsledky zpochybňovány či korigovány, a mají tak poměrně časově (i místně) omezenou platnost. Společenský vývoj je dynamický, nejsou jím ušetřeny ani role žen a mužů. Právě v proměně genderových rolích je tento proces znatelný, troufám si tvrdit, každým rokem. Mezigenerační rozdíl je značný. Ve své práci jsem se těmto úskalím snažila vyhnout, čerpám proto informace z různých zdrojů a ke starším poznatkům přistupuji dvojnásobně obezřetně. Z důvodu získání současných empirických dat z českého prostředí jsem provedla výzkum, výzkum formou rozhovorů s rodiči o výchově jejich dětí (různopohlavních dvojčat). Závěry mého výzkumu mají sloužit porovnání s teoretickými závěry, které jsem načerpala z odborné literatury. Výzkum jsem provedla tedy hlavně z důvodu komparace. The Development of Ecological Thinking and of Ecological Movements in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis focuses on evolution of ecological thinking and environmental ism in the Czech Republic since 1989. Firstly, I presented enviromental conceptions, on which ecological organisation are based and then I outlined present situation in the enviroment in the Czech Republic. Secondly, I aimed at two of the most famous environmental organisations: "Hnutí DUHA - Přátelé Země ČR" , "Děti Země" (Children of the Earth) and Green Party, which 1 have chosen as an institution which uses different methods to enforcement of similar goals. I asked members of these organisations about their situation, it came out that the biggest problem which they are facing to is the absence of qualified and experienced personalities. Another problem are long-term differences of opinion, especially inside Green Party. On the contrary, public lack of interest in a voluntary activity in these non-profit associations causes further that their financial support is constatntly decreasing. Personal and economical situation of Children of the Earth is critical, "Hnutí DUHA" is working hard on improving its public communication. In comparison with the 90s healthy enviroment has been in the human list of values steadily dropping.

Comparism of Czech and British political Systems

The Bachelor's Thesis deals with the theme of comparism of the political systems of the Czech Republic and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with specialization to the executive power. The thesis employs methods of description, analysis and comparism, on the basis of the study of the professional politological and constitutional literature both in Czech and English language. The thesis is devided into four main parts. The first part deals with theoretical definitor of the terms state power and its division in a legal and democratic state, term of political system and describes typology of political systém of the western democracies. The second part is opened with a short analysis of the political system of the Czech Republic and than is analysed the executive power, its elements, constitution of its organization and powers. The third part firstly focuses on a short description of the political system of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and than describes and analyses the executive power from the point of view of its elements, its powers and the constitution of its organization. The last part of the Bachelor's Thesis deals with the comparism of the political systems, the executive powers, its composition, powers of its elements and the constitution of its organization.

Alternative lifestyles of young people

My bachelor thesis sets goal to provide information about the alternative lifestyles of young people, the reasons why they décidé to live differently than the majority of society and what does it mean to live like they do. I focus mainly on the lifestyle of ecologically friendly people and next on the squatters and the phenomenon of squatting. I also describe the close relation of the squatters to culture. I write about the history of these alternative lifestyles and also try to involve their specifics. In conclusion I summarize the pieces of knowledge about ecological lifestyle and squatting.
