New detectors for low-energy BSE

Backscattered electrons (BSE) are mostly used to study the specimen’s topography. Nowadays, low energy (units of keV) electron beam imaging is often necessary for example for the research of nanomaterials, biomaterials or semiconductors. Because BSE detectors are mostly non-accelerating or low-accelerating, electrons with approximately the same energy as primary beam (PB) have to be detected. Therefore, BSE detectors need to become optimized for such low-energy electrons. For the scintillation detectors, the biggest problem probably lies in the scintillator. Semiconductor detectors aren’t studied in this work. Cerium activated bulk single crystals of yttrium aluminium garnet (YAG:Ce)Ce(X):Y(3-X)Al(5)O(12) are widely used as scintillators for the detection of high-energy backscattered electrons (BSE). However, commonly used YAG:Ce single crystal strongly loses its light yield (LY) with the decrease of the PB energy. As possible available alternatives for this application, bulk single crystals of yttrium aluminium perovskite (YAP:Ce) Ce(x)Y(1-X)AlO(3) and CRY018 can be predicted. However, similar LY drop can be expected also with these scintillators.
Logical Game Masyu

This thesis is dedicated to development of Logical game Masyu. Application contains simple and user-friendly graphical user interface with possibility to generate games with different level of difficulty and size. Application also contains algorithm for solving user or application generated games. Application is entirely written in Java programming language and for graphical user interface was used Swing library.
Pressure sensor made 3D structure

This thesis deals with the points at issue of a 3D structure pressure sensor. The pressure sensor converts pressure into another physical quantity which is easier measure and which is processed subsequently. Usually ways of pressure sensing is for example capacitive, strain-gauge and optical. The 3D structures are constructed through the use of a LTCC technology, which can be laminated to create multi-layer structures, compared to standard high-temperature ceramics. Passive circuit components can be applied onto particular ceramic layers using either thin-layer or thick-layer technology. Practice part of thesis deals with several ways of construction a pressure sensor. First of all capacitive, strain-gauge and optical sensor and possible problems with construction individual sensors above all problems with lamination, cavity or burning
Liquid analysis sensor

This thesis deals with the mixing of liquids issues. The simulation of structure for mixing of liquids and evaluation of parametres which have most significant influence on mixing of liquids was made with help of COMSOL programm. In the next section of thesis the quality of electrodes used for cyclic voltammetry made on LTCC by thick layer technology was determined. In the end of this thesis the 3D structure for mixing of liquids was made. The quality of mixing was controlled by cyclic voltammetry.
The technique of the organ playing

The thesis named The technique of the organ playing is focused on the main elements of the organ interpretation - the technique, the generation of the tone sound and on the application of these elements. Next points: 1. hindsight, to 19th century - the era of the grounding of the Prague organ school, 2.the opinions of the organ sound, registration and organ building. The organ sound, the registration and organ building have (after opinion of the author) big influence on the interpretation and taste. Author finds the arguments for his ideas in specialized publications and instructive materials, mainly of 19th and 20th centuries. He develops his view about generation of the sound on different types of instruments , the cultivation of the sound and articulation influences markedly the sound of the organ. There is the way to the lively and pregnant interpretation.
Josef Prediger

This thesis is about the work of the significant organ builder in the 19. century Josef Prediger. I have a respect to production his predecessors; it was the clan of Tauchmans. Tauchmans were important in the 17. and 18. century. The thesis can be useful for the organists, who are engaged in playing on the historical instruments, or who want to know the manner of the work of Josef Prediger, fundamentals of the dispositions or principles of the sound. Articles of the thesis are the enumeration of the instruments in the region ? the foothills of the Giant Mountains and surround of the town Liberec. I urge the influences of the Caecilian reform on the instruments of Josef Prediger.
Crisis of Multiculturalism in Present Western Europe

This work deals with the problems of multicultural coexistence in the area of nowadays Western Europe and conflicts resulting from this coexistence. In the first chapter there is described the present situation in three states of Europe. The three states are the Great Britain, France and Germany. Immigrational models are compared here and the most {\clqq}famous`` incidents between Islam and the culture of Western Europe are mentioned. The second part deals with the actual or recent situation of immigration policy in Holland. The assassination of a politician Pim Fortuyn, director Theo van Gogh is mentioned here as well as the persecution of a politican and writer Ayaan Hirsi Ali
Influence of Sc.sup.3+./sup. doping on Pr.sup.3+./sup. emission in epitaxial scintillation garnet layers

Yttrium (Y3Al5O12) and lutetium (Lu3Al5O12) aluminium garnets doped by rare earths such as Ce, Eu, Pr, are considered as very good scintillation materials. The garnets have chemical, mechanical, and radiation stability superior to most of scintillation materials and light yield is high, thus they are often used as scintillation screens.

Blíže se věnuje systémům sociální ochrany a snaží se identifikovat hlavní výzvy a problémy, se kterými jsou systémy sociální ochrany v členských státech konfrontovány. Je zde věnována pozornost především problému nezaměstnanosti a demografického stárnutí obyvatelstva, jakož i krokům, které mohou být v této souvislosti na úrovní EU uskutečňovány.
