Weather station with air quality measurement
Lacina, Jaroslav ; Hájek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of the wireless weather station with air quality measurement. At the beginning of the theoretical part, meteorology will be analysed. Afterwards, this work describes physical principles and the method of measurement of physical quantities that are measured by the meteostation. Next is the folloving technology described - Internet of things. The weather station is powered by a single battery and operates autonomously without any user intervention. It measures temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, CO2 and tVOC. Measured data are saved in to the cloud service ThingSpeak using a GSM signal. Further the work focuses on creation of web applications. The well organized graphs are created from the measured values.
Creating a VPN Access Point on Raspberry Pi
Kovařík, Martin ; Hájek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Benedikt, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with creating a virtual private network (VPN) access point on a single-board Raspberry Pi computer. The theoretical part describes the principle of VPN, the most common tunneling protocols and the Raspberry Pi computer in general with its various generations and models. Selected protocols are implemented on the Raspberry Pi and their hardware load, response and throughput are measured. The stability of the protocols is tested and reliability evaluated.
Smart Home System
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deals with connecting remote devices measure data of various types from physical quantities such as a temperature, a humidity to data displaying CPU or memory usage of the system to the user. The system uses Blockly to controlling logic and dependencies between devices. In the work is used lots of technologies for examples: MQTT, Websockets, GSM, Lightweight Mesh and others. The system is based on microservice which named is Flask. Flask service is an application interface for HTTP services of Python programming language. This can provide measured data by graphs and predefined components for viewing data. For controlling system was used single-board computer Raspberry Pi with a multitouch 7-inch display.
The public prosecutor in a pre-trial proceedings
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Jelínek, Jiří (advisor) ; Vanduchová, Marie (referee)
The public prosecutor in a pre-trial criminal proceedings Abstract The Diploma thesis is concerned with the role of a Public Prosecutor in pre-trial criminal proceedings. The opening part of the thesis introduces the Public Prosecutor's office as a system of authorities of a state, which is established to defend a public interest in criminal proceedings. In this part of the Diploma thesis deals with the scope of authority of the Public Prosecutor's office, the framework of the Public Prosecutor's office and with the questionable issues of the position of the Public Prosecutor's office according to the Constitution of the Czech Republic and the independence of the Public Prosecutor's office. The opening part of the thesis also covers a brief definition of the term the pre-trial criminal proceedings since the core of the activity of the Public Prosecutor lies in this stage of criminal proceedings. The following parts of the thesis are dedicated to a detailed analysis of a role of a Public Prosecutor in pre-trial criminal proceedings based on the valid legislation of the Czech Republic. First, the author deals with general issues of the role of Public Prosecutor in pre-trial criminal proceedings. The Public Prosecutor performs a supervision in pre-trial criminal proceedins. The supervision in preparatory...
Access Control System Utilizing NFC and Arduino Microcontroller
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis focuses on acces systems including administration of locks, groups of users, users and their identities. For simple implementation of the system have been created four significant elements of the project: a web interface Locker, an application server Authentizer, MySQL database and an Android application. The web interface is used for system administration and included communication with the database. The server application is used for a communitation between the Locks and the MySQL database. The pivotal role of the server application is verification identities of users. The sever application and the database are used as publishing API. Android application is used as identity instead of identity card.
Aerodynamic Optimization of Airfoils and Wings Using Fast Solver
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Šafařík, Pavel (advisor) ; Maršík, František (referee) ; Stebel, Jan (referee)
This thesis is concerned with aerodynamic optimization of airfoils and wings. It focuses at using very fast solvers based on hybrid potential methods to evaluate the aerodynamic performance of the airfoils and wings. Compared to more widely used CFD solvers which are more computationally demanding, use of fast solvers brings different possibilities and different problems to tackle, some of which are analyzed in this work. A state-of-the-art fast solver for airfoils is resented, and a fast solver for slender wings is developed, and some of its aspects are discussed. An innovative evolutionary optimization algorithm is presented and both solvers are hen utilized to solve real-life airfoil and wing optimization problems.
Syndrom CAN
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Dočkal, Jan (advisor) ; Milfait, René (referee)
The graduation work deals with the issues of syndrom CAN particularly with physical punishment of children as a possible form of abuse. The work is divided into three main parts. The first and the second part is theoretical an there is contained information about syndrom CAN and physical punishments, got by reading professional literature and other sources. The empiric part deals with questionnaire survey and it's results. Respondents became pupils of the sixth grade of Primary shool in Prague and Primary school in Nové Město na Moravě. The purpose of the work was to verify the presumption, that children in Prague have more experience with physical punishment than children in Nové Město na Moravě. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Some aspects of the discontinuous Galerkin method for the solution of convection-diffusion problems
Hájek, Jaroslav ; Najzar, Karel (referee) ; Feistauer, Miloslav (advisor)
This work is concerned with the numerical solution of initial-boundary value problems for convection-diffusion partial differential equations. Three methods are studied and compared for this purpose: the combined finite element - finite volume (FE-FV) method, the discontinuous Galerkin finite element (DGFE) method of lines, and the spacetime discontinuous Galerkin method. The combined FE-FV method uses piecewise linear conforming finite elements for the discretization of the diffusion terms and piecewise constant FV approximation of the convective terms. The relation between the FE and FV approximations is determined by the so-called lumping operator. In the DGFE method of lines, the space semidiscretization is carried out by piecewise polynomial functions constructed over a triangular mesh, in general discontinuous on interfaces between neighbouring elements. In the space-time DGFE method, the approximate solution is piecewise polynomial in space as well as in time. We discuss both theoretical and practical aspects of the methods, and present numerical results for each of them. For the DGFE method of lines we derive an a posteriori error estimate.
