Influence of Si doping in different layers on luminescence properties of InGaN/GaN multiple quantum well structure
Hájek, František ; Hospodková, Alice ; Oswald, Jiří ; Slavická Zíková, Markéta
Luminescence of InGaN/GaN multiple quantum well (MQW) structure is strongly affected by spontaneous and piezoelectric polarizations. To suppress them, doping with shallow impurities (e. g. Si) can be used. This works presents the effects of Si doping in different layers around the MQW area. On the basis of photoluminescence and cathodoluminescence measurements and band structure simulation, the piezoelectric field is most efficiently reduced when both layers under and over MQW area are Si doped.\n
Studie možnosti ovlivnění procesu transformace primární organické hmoty v kompostu ionty Ca+2 a Mg+2
HÁJEK, František
This study focuses on the entire proces of composting. It begins with listing the attributes of entry materials and spans to outlining the creation of characteristic substances in the compost (humus). Problems and solutions relating to determining the quality and quantity of humus in the compost are elaborated. This thesis was designed to identify efficient compost accelerator additives for gardening composts.
Landscape changes in border areas of selected military bases in Bohemia since the second half of the 19th century
Hájek, Filip ; Chromý, Pavel (advisor) ; Jančák, Vít (referee)
This thesis deals with the long-term changes in the landscape of border areas of selected military bases in Bohemia  Brdy and Hradiště. Specifically, in these areas it is focused on land use changes since half of the 19th century to the present. Its main objective is to identify whether and to what extent military bases affect character and intensity of land use changes beyond their borders. The first part of the thesis is devoted to general solutions relating to the key topics/concepts representing thematic base for further work (landscape, spatial polarization and military bases). The methodology of this part is based on research and discussions of literature and other sources. In the second part of the thesis the focus is on the spatial definition and characteristics of both areas of our interest. The third part is based on the knowledge of the previous two parts, and is engaged in the land use changes research in both areas. This research has a quantitative nature and is based on the use of statistical data provided by the LUCC Czechia database, which were further processed and evaluated. Final part of the thesis is based on the results of the third part and discusses the possible impact of the military bases to changes in land use in the close border areas. Key words: landscape  landscape...
The issues of juvenile criminal justice
Hájek, Filip ; Hořák, Jaromír (advisor) ; Vanduchová, Marie (referee)
In my dissertation "Problémy trestního soudnictví ve věcech mládeže" I speak about the issues of criminality of the young and about the forms of reactions to misdemeanour caused by the young perpetrators or children. The main legal regulation in this area is the law no. 218/2003, about the judiciary in cases of the young, that contains the arrangement of the material and the procedural law. In connection to the criminal law and the penal code it is a lex specialis. In the first chapter I speak about the theoretical fundation of the law arrangement, and so about the conception of the restorative judiciary. The main idea of this conception is to favor the educational action before repression. The aim is the relationship reconsiliation between the perpetrator and the victim, the awareness of one's deeds and subsequent continuance in one's life in conformity with legal order. The theme of the second chapter is the terminology of the judiciary law in cases of the young. A different terminology was implemented in order to reduce the stigmatization of the young perpetrators, due the interest of their proper development. The third chapter represents a brief retrospect to the history of law arrangement in the area of criminality of the young. In particular, it speaks about the judiciary law among the young...
Data processing procedure applicable for visualisation of FM objects in GIS environment
Hájek, Filip ; Kolář, Jan (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the use of geographic information systems in issue of facility management. Its purpose is to show the advantages of this connection, mostly the visualization and analytical capabilities of GIS. The general issues of facility management are described in the first part of the thesis - what it is about, what it brings, the most important definitions and standards are provided there. Then it continues with theory about connection with GIS and answers the question, why this cooperation is beneficial. It continues with description of importance of GIS during whole life circle of real estate. The chapter is concluded by definition of another powerful tool in FM - CAD/BIM. The fourth chapter discusses one of the important tasks of FM - passportization and its meaning. The last chapter before conclusion focuses on the practical part of thesis dealing with campus of the Czech Post in Malešice. Keywords: Facility management, GIS, passportization, visualization
Analysis of forest canopy density based on textural features of hight resolution imagery and airborne laser scanning data
Bromová, Petra ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Hájek, Filip (referee)
Analysis of forest canopy density based on textural features of high resolution imagery and airborne laser scanning data Abstract The objective of this thesis is to assess the forest canopy density in the Šumava Mountains, Czech Republic. The spruce forests in this area have been suffering from the bark beetle outbreak for almost 20 years resulting in a mixture of dead and young trees, mature forest stands and peat bogs. The canopy density was evaluated using a very high spatial resolution panchromatic imagery and low point density LiDAR, combined with an object oriented approach. The classification based on three GLCM texture measures (contrast, entropy and correlation), which were derived from the image objects, resulted in a kappa index of accuracy of 0.45. Adding the information from the LiDAR data, the accuracy of the classification improved up to 0.95.
