The diploma thesis is focused on the selection of employees and the process of adaptation of the selected business case. The theoretical part defines activities and methods related to selection, recruitment, adaptation and quitting. As well as describes the culture of the organization and the personnel strategy. In the analytical part will be introduced the case study of the business and the selection and adaptation of employees will be evaluated. The last part will include suggestions for improvement selection of employees and adaptation proces to reduce fluctuation of the company.

The theoretical part defines the fundamental principles of financial analysis, as well as the most commonly used models which are related to the financial analysis methods. In the analytical part will be introduced the case study of the business and financial analysis. This analysis will be performed using the elementary research methods to make the recommendations and help the company to implement future financial strategies. The last part will include suggestions for improvement financial situation of the company.

The Transformation of an Independent Foreign Policy: The Fench Foreign Policy in the Persian Gulf Wars in the years 1990 - 91 and 2003

Diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the de Gaulle's foreign policy, concretely the belief of François Mitterrand and Jacques Chirac in a specific position of France in the world. This deep belief of both presidents in a leading role of France within the international scene is evident on the case of the two wars in the Persian Golf in 1990-91 and 2003 and explains very similar behaviour of two otherwise different presidents and very similar development of both conflicts. At the same time this thesis deals with the transformation of an independent foreign policy, which was established and supported, in connection with the belief in privilege position of France in the world, by the founder of the Fifth republic - general Charles de Gaulle. The tendency to conduct an independent French foreign policy shared both François Mitterrand and Jacques Chirac. However with coming of geopolitical earthquake in the years 1989-1991, when the bipolar world disappeared and the then international order has changed, suddenly France lost its space for conduct of its independent policy. This new situation was confirmed by the first war in Gulf during which François Mitterrand did not manage to enforce his own independent policy and finally France became a part of anti- iraqian coalition headed by the USA. Attitudes of selected helping professions to Epilepsy

The Diploma thesis is focused on attitudes of helping profession to epilepsy. The aim of theoretical part is to introduce life with epilepsy and to increase public awareness of the illness. As a part of the thesis there is refuting myths and prejudices that are often cause of negative attitudes. Helping professions are a main part of life both of epileptics and their families as well their surroundings and their attitudes affect most of it so it is main sample of the research. Theoretical part is divided into few chapters. In the initial chapter there are defined basic concepts important for good orientation in the topic - stereotypes, prejudices and attitudes. Its theories, functions and changes are further described more in detail. Next chapters describe epilepsy from medical and social aspects such as Etiology of epilepsy, epileptic seizures classification, its diagnostics and treatment are mentioned there. First aid during epileptic seizures and role of social workers are not missing. Further diploma thesis covers problematics such as social stigmatization and myths connected with epilepsy. Music and Movedent Education on the Background of Orff-Schulwerk, Libuše Kurková and Her Contribution to Music and Movement Education

The diploma thesis "Music-Movement Education on the Background of Orff Schulwerk. Libuše Kůrková and Her Contribution to Music-Movement Education." describes in detail the circumstances of Orff Schulwerk's origins and its spreading in pedagogical practice of music-movement education for preschool and young school children. It also speaks about the development of Orff's ideas in the Czech educational milieu. Its main focus, however, is upon the professional evolution and work of Libuše Kůrková. The work discovers her sources of inspiration (Duncan, Jeřábková, Orff) and thus gives an account of the development of music-movement education from the perspective of one of the pioneers of modern approach to music-movement education. The thesis gives a detailed portrait of Libuše Kurková's life, praises her as a creator of an original approach to elementary music and dance education for preschool children. It also presents her as one of the most distinctive figures of musicmotion education in this country. The thesis is meant to be especially useful for students and teachers of music-movement classes who can understand the irreplaceable function of aesthetic education for a healthy and harmonious child's development.

Environmental tax reform in the Czech Republic and its implications for households and industry

This thesis deals with the ecological tax reform in the Czech republic, the plan of the environmental tax reform revenues is monitored , in comparison with the actual returns. Whether they have reached the projected amount or not. Furthermore, the revenue neutrality is tracked, its comparison of the plan with the facts. Fulfilling the targets of the second stage of the EDR (tax co emissions) and the impact of the reform on households and businesses, in terms of their expenditure for the consumption of electricity and the change in consumption of electric energy for households and businesses itself, whether it has downward or upward trend. Last but not least, the thesis also includes the economic impacts of the environmental tax reform and particularly the implications for households and industry.
