Human and Social Capital in Inner Peripheries of Czechia: case study the Rakovník Region

The subject of research of submitted thesis is a process of space polarization and the analysis of human and social capital in region Rakovnicko, which is in national and regional development documents qualified as a problematic area with lower socialeconomic development. But the interested area is not a compact unit from the space link's point of view it is determined by significant social-economic and social-cultural differentiation. This variety is connected mainly with an existence of "internal periphery" of macrolocational characteristics, whose part can be located mainly along the border of interested area with region Ústecký and Plzeňský (Fiala, 2007). Previous surveies show, - 8 - that insufficient engagement of mayors and key figures of regional development and also insufficient cooperation of villages within the scope of microregional unions contributes to today's peripheral situation of many villages. In the submitted thesis we will try to make an analysis of differentiation of human and social potential in internal peripheries, that hasn't been sufficiently solved yet, respectively relation between the existence of problematic, peripheral area and the quality of human and social capital. Preconditioned Krylov Subspace Methods in Optimization Algorithms

One of the possible ways of solving general problems of constrained optimization is to convert them to a sequence of unconstrained problems. Then the need arises to solve unconstrained optimization problem reliably and efficiently. For this, Newton methods are usually applied, often in combination with sparse Cholesky decomposition. In practice, however, this approach may not be optimal in some cases and a suitable iterative algorithm may be preferred. The aim of this work is to use iterative algorithms with preconditioned Krylov subspace methods, like CGM and QMR, to solve unconstrained problems originating in the Augmented Lagrangian method applied to nonlinear and semidefinite programming (NLP-SDP). The specific implementation was carried out in PENNON software package.

Costumer behaviour on the market with eco and local food. Mendel University in Brno, 2016. This thesis deals with costumer behaviour on the market with eco and local food with emphasis on their original labelling. Practical part was implemented by qualitative research methods, eye-tracking and in-depth interviews. Description of costumer behaviour on the market with eco and local food regarding original labelling come from the results of thesis. Results also include the recommendations for practical application in the field of leblling of unconventional food.

Information System of Culturally Educational Center

My bachelor thesis is focused on the implementation of the Culturally educational Center information system in Jihlava. The main objective of this work is to create information system (farther IS), which uses modern graphic and offers better social services for users. The centre hasn't any IS now and so the new IS will be important source of informations for the customers and broad public.

Application for Generating of School Schedules

This work deals with problem of generating school schedules. The solution is based on three heuristic algorithms (hill-climbing, simulated annealing, genetic algorithm) and is fully implemented in JAVA. It provides a comparison of implemented heuristic algorithms including description of their pros and cons.

Transformation of N.e.s.p.i. System into Web Services

The diploma thesis describes the analysis, specification, origin and transformation of the current editing system N.E.S.P.I, which is the intellectual property of the company WebRex s.r.o. The main aim is to separate the administration of the web sites from their content, which can be seen on the Internet and by doing so to achieve the unified and complex administration interface for the customers. By bringing the service into work we do not only save time and simplify the work of the programmers, but we are also able to reach the stage when the editing system is not only the intellectual property of the company, but also its physical property, because the customer owns only the web sites, but the possibility to administrative them is offered as further service. The service should also provide the customers with modern access to informational technologies and propose enhanced assistance for their entrepreneurial plans and ideals.

The current position of US in the world and its future

Práce se soustředí na současný vývoj USA se zaměřením na jeho postavení spíše z hlediska toho, co toto postavení určuje, co stojí v pozadí za dosaženým úspěchem a co pomáhá získáné postavení udržet, popřípadě co ho ohrožuje. V první části jsou nastíněny základní charakteristiky USA pomocí vybraných ukazatelů. Následně práce rozebírá aktuální vývoj v USA, především dopady hypotéční a úvěrové krize a možný nástup recese. Druhá část je těžištěm této práce, popisuje a hodnotí faktory, které dle mého názoru, nejvíce přispěly k získání dominatní pozice USA, a zároveň ovlivňují a určují současné postavení. Prvním faktorem je dolar. S tématem dolaru jsou spjaty další dvě problémové oblasti USA ? mohutné zadlužení a deficit obchodní bilance, které budou krátce rozebrány. Třetím faktorem je vojenská dominance a politické postavení USA. Posledním analyzovaným tématem je technologická vyspělost, zdroj hospodářského růstu a vztrůstající životní úrovně.
