Foreign trade influenced by ideology? limits of economic cooperation Czechoslovakia and the Federal Republic of Germany in the fifties and sixties of the 20th century

The aim of this work is to analyze the development of Czechoslovak foreign trade with the Federal Republic of Germany in the fifties and sixties of the twentieth century. Membership of diferent military and economic groupings significantly influenced the mutual trade. The work focuses on finding the causes of changes in the structure and volume of exports and imports, in particular the problem of reducing the Czechoslovak foreign trade with the Western powers due to the communist ideology of the Eastern bloc, whose part Czechoslovakia became. Although diplomatic contacts between both states in this period practically did not exist and were implemented via primarily through third countries, trade exchanges worked and regardless of small fluctuations they even continuously increased. Contribution of the work lies in the presentation of a comprehensive view of the problems of the Czechoslovak-West German trade since the end of World War II until 1967, when despite the protracted and complex negotiations an agreement on setting up dealerships and commodity regulation and payment systems was signed.

Process of the Chilean pensionary reform in 1981 and its consequences

This thesis deals with the preparation and the implication of the pensionary reform in Chile in 1981. That reform led to the transition from the PAYG system to the capital system. I have focused on the process of the implication of establishing the new capital system in Chile, during the autoritative regime era, its function in detail and economic impacts. I analyze the financing of the transition, political and economical risks, developement of the new pensionary system in the 80s and the beginning of the 90s and the impacts on the present Chile. The main benefits of my thesis is summarising the available data about the pensionary reform in Chile and ensuing analysis of them in the Czech language.

Postwar German inflation and its emergence to hyperinflation in 1923

The bachelor thesis focuses on postwar inflation in Germany and on how the inflation moved up to hyperinflation. In the first part I would like to analyze the period to the year of 1914. How the central bank of German Empire functioned and in what condition had public finance occured before the war. The other parts deal with the course of war and postwar period in Weimar republic to the year of 1923. I tried to clarify, which sources were used by german government to finance the war and what role played here the central bank. I also consider, what influence had the total sum of reparation payments on deepening the inflation in Germany, which were set by Treaty of Versailles. In conclusion, I will summarize the stabilizing effect of german currency.

Reforma z roku 1968 a její vliv na celé Pražské jaro

Abstract My bachelor thesis focus on reform process, which bagan in 1963 and which culminated in 1968. This year was completed Action program and started epoch of Prague spring. In the first part, I will describe each step of reform process and at the end I focuse on each item, which is contained in Action program. The second part of my thesis talk about Soviet Union's answer and about transactions between them. My thesis finish of part of military intervention on Czechosloslovakia and its impact on epoch of Prague spring and on inchoate reform process. Conclusion: Was preparation of reforms talked about?

Unemployment during the Great Depression in Czechoslovakia. Different wievs on her solutions.

This thesis called "Unemployment during the Great Depression in Czechoslovakia" is based on still current question, which is the existence, growth and support in unemployment at the end of the 2nd and the first half of the 3rd decade of the 20th century. What kind of social system existed in Czechoslovakia during the First Republic? How the situation had changed when the Great Depression came? What impact had the Depression on Citizens and the growth of unemployment? Fundamental part of the thesis studies proposals and concepts of the solution of the complicated situation in the country. What were the proposals of particular parties? Did the worsening situation between Citizens lead to the bigger support of the Communist Party? Had the Great Depression in Czechoslovakia effect to the change of political meanings in the country? I will try to find all the answers for these questions in my thesis.

The last stage of the land reform in the Mělník county

In my work I will address the political reasons and the process of the land reform that was realised within the collectivization of the Czechoslovak economy after the World War II. In the analytic part of the work I will focus primarily on the 3rd stage of this land reform, which I will try to illustrate on the example of regional development in the Mělník county. Based on my research, I will try to ascertain the political, economical and social impacts of the land reform in the region. The work will rely on published studies, articles and monographs, as well as other published and unpublished (archive) sources. The analysis will also rely on the oral history in the region.

Měnová reforma 1953

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. První část se zaměřuje na příčiny měnové reformy, její podobu, a důvody, proč bylo zvoleno právě použité řešení. Je zde popsána i situace, ve které se tehdy nacházelo naše hospodářství.(o situaci v které se naše hospodářství nacházelo a o důvodech proč bylo zvoleno právě toto řešení.) Druhá část je pak věnována samotnému průběhu reformy. Předmětem této části jsou také zásady a principy na kterých byla reforma postavena (položena). Třetí část je věnována událostem, které proběhly těsně po zavedení reformy. Poslední část se pak zaměřuje na samotné důsledky této reformy. ( pak samotným výsledkům reformy.)

Funkce tisku za druhé republiky. Příspěvek k sociálním dějinám tzv druhé republiky.

Hlavním úkolem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jakou a jak významnou roli hrál tisk během období tzv. druhé republiky. Jelikož tato práce dokazuje, že druhá republika dospěla svým vývojem k autoritativnímu režimu, politická úloha médií a konkrétně tisku tak významně vzrostla. Tisk se stal jedním z hlavních prostředků propagandy, nejdříve stranické, poté i vládní, respektive prostředkem propagandy vládnoucí strany - Strany národní jednoty. Propagandistická úloha tisku byla analyzována na vybraných tématech, které měly významnou pozici v politice druhé republiky, v soudobém tisku a v literatuře zabývající se druhorepublikovým obdobím. Práce tak obsahuje analýzu soudobého tisku na následujících tématech: volání tisku po jednotě, kampaň proti osobě prezidenta Edvarda Beneše, antisemitismus, nacionalismus a jejich projevy v tisku.
