Design and construction of a tube guitar amplifier

The text of this bachelor’s thesis deals with the design, simulation and construction of a tube amplifier for electric guitar, based on the well-known guitar amplifier VOX AC 30. The theoretical part deals with the design and simulation of the original circuit. Subsequently, adjustments were made on both channels and simulated. The practical part of the work already deals with the construction itself, measuring the finished guitar combo. Frequency modulus characteristics, harmonic distortion, spectra and time courses of signals for distorted and clear channel were measured. Then the measurement was evaluated.

Evolutionary Design of Boolean Functions for Cryptography

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to compare various selection methods used in cartesian genetic programming applied to a problem of various types of cryptographically significant boolean functions. I focused on these selection methods: evolutionary strategies (1+lambda) and (1,lambda), tournament selection and roulette selection. The chosen problem was solved by an implementation of CGP with the above-mentioned selection methods and by a statistical evaluation of data acquired from conducted experiments. Evaluation of mentioned data has shown that the best results in case of bent functions were achieved while using (1+lambda) evolutionary strategy. The roulette selection performed the best in case of balanced functions with high nonlinearity.

Tremolo effect with high modulation frequency range

This work was created while designing the dynamic modulation effect „tremolo“. Because there are certain conditions (wide modulation frequency range, precise input of parameters and precise indication), this work is going to be constructed mainly of searching the right components and schematics, especially wide range frequency oscillator with a period from cca ten seconds to the frequency of hundreds of hertz, and of the digital frequency counter which serves as a precise indicator, but we will also talk attenuators, amplifiers, driving circtuits or a power circuit. Also equations schematics/circuits and their improvements can be found here. In the end there‘s also a short description of the two famous tremolo effects from BOSS and Schaller manufacturers.

Analogue emulators of fractional-order circuits

Diploma thesis deals with circuits contain fractional-order elements. The first part of this paper deals with this problem, there were also described methods of design fractionalorder elements and types of circuits containing the fractiona-order elements which can be applied in practice. Used active elements for practical part can be found in the second chapter. Design of GIC circuits and implementation of fractional-order element inside the circuit are shown in the last chapture. Parasitic analysis and stability of frequency filter containing fractional-order element had been also described.

Basic properties of network protocols and communication techniques

The diploma thesis is focused on the basic properties of network protocols. The main task is to create laboratory tasks that deal with the basic features of network protocols and communication techniques, along with detailed instructions for students of communication technologies. The theoretical part of thesis acquaints the reader with the topic of computer networks and the basic network protocols of the TCP/IP architecture, which occur within the created lab. The practical part contains a selection of testing environment and subsequent description of installation and preparation of selected GNS3 environment. Finally are presented labs, which have been created. First lab deals with the basic differences between TCP and UDP. The second lab is focused on the issue of multicast and the third deals with the basics of penetration testing.

Anlysis of the Effect of Insulation on the Price of Flats in Žďár nad Sázavou

This thesis analyzes the impact of insulation on the price of flats in Zdar. In the theoretical part of the thesis deals with the theme of energy demand and pricing. The second part sets the prices of selected flats in different valuation methods, namely: direct comparison method, comparative method and cost method. Furthermore, the work deals with energy conservation, depending on the thermal insulation. The aim is to determine whether and by how much prices will rise flats due to the additional insulation, what are the savings in heat and what about payback to investment.

Design of a rescue button for emergency calls in cars

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a prototype device, which aims to retrofit vehicles manufactured before 2018 with an emergency call sys- tem. The device will operate on similar principles as the eCall service introduced by the European Union. The first part of the work contains a basic acquaintance with the used technologies and procedures in the proposed devices. Since this is a device intended for cars, we perform this retrofit by connecting the device to the OBD-II (On Board Diagnostics) diagnostic connector. For this reason, in the theoretical part we get acquainted with the diagnostic connector OBD-II as well as with the CAN bus, com- munication protocols or the method of accident evaluation. The practical part with the subsequent design of equipment and selection of individual components. We will need to send location and communication from the devices via the 3G network, which is why we choose the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Commu- nications (GSM) modules. We will also evaluate the accident using an accelerometer so that we can determine the severity of the accident. The last part of the work describes the practical construction and implemented equipment.

New scenarios with Wireshark in communication technologies

The aim of this thesis is to design and create scenarios that will be used by students as a basis for laboratory exercises in a course that focuses on communication technologies. These scenarios also need to be accompanied by a theoretical introduction that will introduce the topic under discussion to the students. The created scenarios contain additional tasks that are intended for individual work of students. For the teachers there are prepared separate files summarising the correct solution of these tasks. This thesis starts with a theoretical description of used network protocols. First the TCP/IP model is described and then the protocols that belong to this model. The main ones are those that occur in multiple created scenarios, such as TCP, UDP or DNS. The programs and applications that are used in the scenarios are also described. The main program is Wireshark and also the application called Klient DNS. This is followed by a chapter that deals with the drafting of each scenario. The drafts outline what the scenarios goals are. The drafts also list the protocols, programs, and utilities that are used in the exercise. The first scenario contains tasks based on Network Address Translation and its interaction with other protocols, such as the previously mentioned TCP, UDP, and also ICMP and FTP protocols. The second created scenario is dealing and analyzing protocols that try to secure the translation of domain names. Specifically, the DNSSEC extension and also the DoH protocol. The third scenario is focusing more in detail at the function of recursive servers in DNS and DNSSEC communication. The last created scenario explains the planning and allocation of the address space, where again the NAT topic is encountered and the function of routing tables is also explained here.

Construction Technology Solution of the External Cladding of Lodging House in Strážné

The concept of this work is to create a construction technology solution of an external cladding of a lodging house in Strážné. It is the external cladding of a wooden structure consisting of thermal insulation and final layer of larch planks and zinc sheet. The work consists of a technical report of the object, a design of a mechanical assembly and site facilities and a bill of quantities. This work is also addressing general relations between multiple routes to the site and it deals with an occupational safety and health. As an addition, regarding the construction solution stage of the external cladding, there are processed inspection and test plans, a budget and a time schedule present in this work.
