Guide dog as a Helper for Disabled People

This work consists of four parts. First of all, it deals with human needs. According to five disablement types, it focuses on the needs and possibilities of communication, self-care, spatial orientation and independent movement. The second part called "A Man and a Dog" introduces their coexistence from the past up to the present and describes how and with what a dog can help a disabled person. It describes individual kinds of service dogs and specific ways to help mitigate the impacts of disablement. It provides information on which breeds are suitable for training and describes the dog training from choosing the puppy up to its integration into the life of the user. The third part shows individual social aspects related to the purchase of a dog, demands, positives and negatives of owning a service dog. It analyses the legislative concerning the problems of assistance animals and suggests its improvement. It shows the financial problems of special dog training in this country and abroad. It also gives information on myths which are in the eyes of the uninformed public connected with the training of these dogs and analyses the current channels raising awareness of these problems. Satanism in Metal

This thesis deals with satanism in metal music. First the theme of satanism is decribed, along with its ideology, typology and then its history from the Middle Ages through Aleister Crowley to Anton Szandor LaVey, the main figure of modern satanism. It also deals briefly with satanic symbolism, like pentagram, baphomet or inverted cross. The second part deals with metal music, its features, history and image. Satanism appears mostly in black metal, that is why a whole part is dedicated to it. Some Czech black metal groups are also introduced in this chapter. In the last part the results of questionnaires about the influence of satanism on metal music are processed. The respondents were members of Czech and Slovak metal subculture. The aim was to find out how these listeners of metal music perceive the influence of satanism on the metal scene, whether they take its features only as an entertainment or as a serious thing and whether a personal belief has any influence on music preferences.
Reasons of Addiction to Methamphetamine

The main topic of my bachelor's work, are reasons of addiction to methamphetamine. The goal is to find out the most common and most important reasons why young people, aged from twenty-five to thirty-three years living in the small village Dobronín, became addicted to methamphetamine. First, the thesis deals with drugs, with their division, as well as with deeper information about methamphetamine and specifics of addiction to methamphetamine. The important part of my work are chapters about the causes of addiction, factors that increase the risk of addiction and factors that increase resistance to addiction. Part of the work is also devoted to drug prevention. At the end of the work, there is the questionnaire survey. The results of this survey correspond to the goal of my work. The influence of friends, curiosity and the influence of the environment and the place where they lived were the most common and most important reasons why young people started to take drugs.
Child Prostitucion in the Czech Republic and the Prevention

The thesis focuses on child prostitution and its prevention. Firstly, the reader is informed about the basic knowledge of the phenomenon of child prostitution and the phenomenon which the prostitution is a part of, namely commercial sexual children abuse. The thesis describes possible causes and consequences and big part of it is dedicated to the prevention where also the legal aspects of prostitution are described. The objective of the thesis is to find out how are the children, ninth grade students, informed about the issue of child prostitution and what their view is. Hypotheses of my work therefore are: ninth grade students of primary schools have a low level of awareness of the child prostitution phenomenon and among these students there is a high percentage of children who occupy risk attitudes concerning child prostitution. Both of these hypotheses were proved by questionnaire survey and so they also proved the compliance with descriptive studies which have been conducted by the third School of Medicine on the ninth grade students of the primary schools in the past.
Burnout Syndrome Problematics of the Rýmařov Region's Social Services Employees

Bachelor's thesis discusses burnout syndrome problematics of the Rýmařov region's social services employees, who work with seniors. Aim of this work is to map out the frequency and degree of burnout affecting social services employees in Rýmařov region. Additionally, thesis considers factors (personal and working conditions) probably involving or affecting creation and development of employees' burnout syndrome. Thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part of the work analyzes definition of the burnout syndrome, its symptoms, stages, associations with other psychical effects, risk factors, which plays crucial role during syndrome's formation, and last but not least, possibilities of help and burnout syndrome's prevention. Also, thesis shortly describes characteristics of the work with seniors and social services. The title of this work is Prevention and solving of bulling on elementary schools: Experiences of school methodologies of prevention from schools in Jaroměř. This bachelor work is about prevention and solving the bullying on elementary schools. It is concentrating on experiences of pedagogues with prevention and solving the bullying on elementary schools in Jaroměř. The goal of this work is to map the prevention and bullying solving based on the conversation with the schools methodologists of prevention on ZŠ Na Ostrově, ZŠ Boženy Němcové and ZŠ Josefov and to compare their practical experiences with available theory concerning bullying from books and internet sources. Another goal based on the interviews with ŠMP, is to try suggest steps, which would lead to improvement of solving cases which includes bullying on elementary schools. Practical part involves analysis and evaluation of structured conversations with schools methodologists of prevention which are working on schools mentioned before. It also compares between their experiences with theoretical part of the work and suggests steps leading to improvement of prevention and solving bullying on the elementary schools. Ethical Dilemmas of a Social Worker at Work with Homeless People

This bachelor work deals with ethical dilemmas which arise from difficulties of social work in sheltered houses. It shows the demands on social workers, their responsibility to their clients, their employer, their colleagues and also to themselves. It portrayts social work in sheltered houses in its particularity and the clients who come to the sheltered houses as well. This bachelor work includes experience of social workers from houses of Naděje. They described their own ethical dilemmas. The paper tries to uncover what helps social workers to decide in ethicallly difficult situations and it tries to find the best way how to search solutions. Moreover, it tries to find answers to the question: how to prevent ethical dilemmas. It includes several interviews with social workers and cases interpretations as well. Influence of Religious Services on Resocialization of Persons Serving a Prison Sentence

Bachelor thesis "Influence of religious services on resocialization of persons serving a prison sentence" initially describes evolution of prisons and spiritual development services from antiquity to the present. Subsequently, the personality of chaplain, his conjunction with ethics, activities of chaplain both while convict serves a prison sentence, so after the release of prisoners and documents on which the chaplain works in prisons, are introduced and with constitution Gaudium et spes. In the next section there will be introduced the civic association "Vezeňská duchovenská péče". There are mentioned basic informations about the association, conditions of membership in the connection with voluntary services in prisons, conditions of membership in the chaplaincy service and position of chaplain within the prison staff. The final section summarizes results of the polls, which were presented to convicts visiting their chaplains in four different prisons. According to these results there should be found the goal of this bachelor thesis - find out why people in prisons are motivated for attending the spiritual service and what is the impact of this service (according to prisoners). Environment and Poverty

This thesis focuses on the interaction of poverty and/or social exclusion and the environment. Its aim is to describe different types of this interaction and to show possible interventions of social policy and social work. This thesis provides practical cases of environmental damage which are results of poverty or social exclusion in Europe, for example European regions in decline due to land degradation. This thesis does not bring solutions for these case reports. It focuses on the possible socio-political interventions in different kinds of interactions among poverty and/or social exclusion and the environment, which are based on Czech form of social policy. The interventions presented are, therefore, limited to the European context. Nevertheless, the presented interventions may be useful in certain cases, even in the European context. The chosen overview of interventions is based on the form of social policy which includes education, housing, health policy and policy of social security and employment. This thesis also contains the description of appropriate methods of social work in the interaction of poverty and/or social exclusion and the environment.
