The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the impact of human resources and culture of their society in chosen municipality in connection with sustainability and proposing changes to improve the current situation. The theoretical part presents basic concepts related to the given issue. There are mainly characterized concepts related to sustainability, rural development, human resources and, last but not least, culture. The practical part deals with research itself of the current situation in a particular municipality. Information was obtained from primary sources, which includes particularly questionnaire surveys, own observation and interviews, as well as from secondary sources, where electronic sources and literature dealing with the municipality may be included. After processing and evaluating of all data and information, proposals were made that could be implemented by the municipal board in the future, which could lead to sustainable development and improve the quality of life in the municipality.
Determination of flavonoids in food supplements using micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography
Dvořáková, Martina ; Pospíšilová, Marie (advisor) ; Polášek, Miroslav (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate Mgr. Martina Dvořáková Consultant Doc. RNDr. Marii Pospíšilové, CSc Title of Thesis Determination of flavonoids in food supplements using micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography A new method of micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC) with UV detection for the simultaneous determination of catechin, epicatechin, rutin, quercetin, luteolin, hesperetin, kaempferol, apigenin and isorhamnetin was devised and validated. The MEKC analysis was optimized for the type, concentration and pH* of the background electrolyte, the concentration of sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), the type and concentration of cyclodextrins and organic solvents, applied voltage and operating temperature. The analysis was carried out in a fused-silica capillary (internal diameter 75 µm, total length 60 cm, effective length 50 cm) with UV detection at 210 nm, voltage 30 kV, hydrodynamic sample injection at 50 mbar for 6 s and temperature 20řC. The optimal background elektrolyte of pH* 7.6 (adjusted with 17% of ammonia solution) contained 5 mM potassium dihydrogen phosphate + 30 mM boric acid, 60 mM SDS, 20% (v/v) of methanol, 5% (v/v) of butanol and 8 mM 2-hydroxypropyl-γ-cyclodextrin. The calibration curve of...
Impact of Intersonorant Voicing on the Perception of Foreing Accent in the Speech of Advanced Czech Learners of English
Dvořáková, Martina ; Červinková Poesová, Kristýna (advisor) ; Matuchová, Klára (referee)
This thesis aims at exploring the impact of intersonorant voicing (/ˈbeɪzɪk/ instead of /beɪsɪk/) that frequently occurs in the speech of Czech learners of English on the degree of foreign accentedness. To evaluate this phenomenon, the method of a perception test was used. The sample phrases with and without the aforementioned mistake were evaluated by native speakers of the English language. The result of their observation, the level of foreign accentedness, was marked on a seven point scale and analysed by the author with the aim of either confirming or rejecting two original hypotheses concerning the relationship between the intersonorant voicing and foreign accentedness when featured in various positions.
Marie Montessori and her teaching method
Dvořáková, Martina ; Váňová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Leontovyčová, Jana (referee)
Thesis "Maria Montessori and her teaching method" deals with main principles of the educational system proposed by Maria Montessori, Italian doctor and teacher. Thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretic part aims at fundamental ideas of Maria Montessori's pedagogical conception with the special emphasis on the teacher's role in this method. The practical part focuses on a comparison of a teacher's role in M. Montessori's method and teacher's role in traditional school system.
Disease cause by Nematoda.
Dvořáková, Martina ; Křivčíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Voxová, Barbora (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Candidate: Martina Dvořáková Supervisor: Ing. Lucie Křivčíková Title of thesis: Diseases cause by Nematoda The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the description of the principal nematodoses, disease caused by roundworm. This work deals with methods of transmission, symptoms and subsequent treatment of these diseases. Parasitic diseases are still current problem in underdeveloped countries, especially Africa, South America and Asia, where infections are easily spread due to the low standards of living and hygiene. Migration and travel lead to more frequent import of tropical and subtropical species of nematodes to developed countries of Europe and America. Therefore, this paper deals with both species of global spread such as ascariasis and enterobiasis, and species that occur only in tropical and subtropical areas such as filariases and ancylostomiasis. It also describes life cycles of nematodes, the most common diagnostic methods and drugs available in the Czech Republic and abroad, also refers to new information in research on vaccines against the most common types of filariasis and ankylostomiasis.
Functional role of SOX2 in inner ear neurosensory development
Dvořáková, Martina ; Pavlínková, Gabriela (advisor) ; Rohlena, Jakub (referee) ; Machoň, Ondřej (referee)
The main functional cells of the inner ear are neurons and sensory cells that are formed from a common embryonic epithelial neurosensory domain. Discovering genes important for specification and differentiation of sensory cells and neurons in the inner ear is a crucial basis for understanding the pathophysiology of hearing loss. Some of these factors are necessary not only for the inner ear but also for the development of other neurosensory systems such as the visual and olfactory system. The aim of this work was to reveal functions of transcription factor SOX2 in inner ear development by using mouse models with different conditional deletions of Sox2 gene. Sox2 gene was deleted by cre-loxP recombination. In Isl1-cre, Sox2 CKO mutant, reduced number of hair cells differentiated only in some inner ear organs (utricle, saccule and cochlear base) and not in others (cristae and cochlear apex). Early forming inner ear neurons in the vestibular ganglion and neurons innervating the cochlear base developed in these mutants but died by apoptosis due to the lack of neurotrophic support from sensory cells. Late forming neurons in the cochlear apex never formed. In Foxg1-cre, Sox2 CKO mutant, only rudimental ear with no sensory cells was formed. The initial formation of vestibular ganglion with peripheral and...

The research, which was done in the company, is described in the practical part. Information is obtained from company's documents, from observation, through an interview with the human resources manager and through questionnaires referning to the employees' satisfaction. Based on the results possible changes are suggested for improving human resource management.
The role of Nutritional Therapist in Education of Patients with Enteral Feeding Tubes
Dvořáková, Martina ; Meisnerová, Eva (advisor) ; Novotný, Aleš (referee)
Enteral nutrition is the only way for many patients to ensure a sufficient supply of nutrients. The bachelor thesis describes the indications as well as the contraindication of enteral nutrition. The chapter on composition of individual nutrition and possible application techniques is also included. I mention the possible complications associated with enteral nutrition, too. The greater part is then devoted to percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG). Enteral nutrition is for many patients only possibility how to survive. During my long practice on the gastroenterology clinic, I have found that there is insufficient educational material for patients with established PEG who are leaving home. Educating these patients how to apply enteral nutrition at home and take care of the probe is in our facility in the competence of a nutritional therapist because of the workload of nurses and their little experience with PEG. The aim of the empirical part was to create a clear educational material for patients, but also for the lower PEG care staff. Keyword: enteral nutrition, tube, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
