Design of a photovoltaic power plant for a family house near Jihlava
Dvořák, Vít ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a photovoltaic solar power station for a specific family house in the Jihlava region. The aim of the work was to get acquainted with technologies about the production of solar systems, evaluate the market in the Czech Republic and create a design of photovoltaic solar power station. Three designs of power stations were created with the help of the PV * SOL design system. Each design uses different photovoltaic cell technology. The result of each power station design is a complete finished project, which is based on many factors such as the efficiency of the entire system in a certain location, financial analysis, return on investment and more. In addition, these projects meet the conditions for the preparation of the subsidy program Nová zelená úsporám. At the end of the work, all three designed power stations are evaluated and with the help of multicriteria analysis, the best and most advantageous power station design for the given locality is determined. In the end, the idea of further development of the project is presented.
Digital commissioning of a robotic production system for sandblasting technologies
Dvořák, Vít ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the digital commissioning of a robotic production system for blasting aluminum castings. The introductory theoretical part discusses the technology of digital commissioning and blasting technology. The practical part is divided into several parts. In the first part, a system analysis is created, which sets out the conditions that the system should meet. The following is a conceptual design of a robotic cell, selection of individual system devices and determination of technological parameters. In the third part, a technological jig is designed, which is used to set up the blasted part inside the cabin. The last part deals with the creation of the robot path and the creation of the basic logic of the production system in the ABB RobotStudio program.

Změny v množství vázaného uhlíku v nadzemní biomase v lesní rezervaci Greenfields, Nikaragua
Dvořák, Vít
The aim of this study was to evaluate changes in the amount of carbon sequestered in the private reserve Greenfields, located in a tropical rainforest in Nicaragua. Two forest inventories were carried out (in 2015 and 2022), and from the obtained data, the biomass and the amount of sequestered carbon in the forested area of the Greenfields reserve were calculated. The data was then compared with the results of other similarly focused studies in the area, contextualized within biological succession, and finally, a financing system for the reserve was proposed through carbon trading payments.
Processing of Haptic model of fresco of Pieta and Madonna for visually impaired people
DVOŘÁK, Vít
The theoretical and practical diploma thesis deals with the Gothic style in the theoretical part, first from the perspective of the medieval society in three basic roles. In the first chapture there is a description of several contexts of the development of society through the spiritual, knightly and peasant class trought the general foundations of the Gothic style in the level of socio-cultural progression are sought. The work focuses mainly on painting and representation of Virgin Mary with Jesus. In connection to the practical part of the thesis there is also provided the necessary information concerning the ergonomic criteria of haptic aids for visually impaired persons and the location of the original fresco. The purpose of the practical part of the thesis is to transform the mural painting on the wall of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the Piarist Square in České Budějovice into a 3-dimensional haptic aid for visually impaired people. The mid-relief models are made of ceramic casting material using plaster molds. The base is a colored attached polychromized woodboard.
Leishmaniases and their vectors in western Africa
Hošková, Anna ; Dvořák, Vít (advisor) ; Sádlová, Jovana (referee)
Leishmaniasis is a parasitic disease transmitted by sand flies. In West Africa, leishmaniasis is endemic and we distinguish cutaneous, visceral and mucocutaneous form of the disease. The most common form in this area is cutaneous leishmaniasis, which is caused by Leishmania major, Leishmania tropica and a new, as yet undescribed species Leishmania sp. from Ghana. The causative agents of visceral leishmaniasis are Leishmania donovani and Leishmania infantum. Phlebotomus duboscqi is a confirmed vector of L. major in this region. Vectors of Leishmania sp. from Ghana and vectors of visceral leishmaniasis remain unknown in West Africa. Sand flies of the genus Sergentomyia or Culicoides biting midges are considered as potential alternative vectors in this area. The confirmed reservoir hosts of L. major in some countries are the rodents Tatera gambiana, Arvicanthis niloticus and Mastomys erythroleucus, but in most states they are not confirmed. The reservoir hosts of visceral leishmaniasis are mainly dogs. Some West African states used to be French colonies, and there are many people of African descent in France who come to visit their relatives in West Africa. This poses a risk of import of leishmaniasis to non-endemic areas. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the current knowledge about the...
Current and future changes in sand fly distribution in Europe
Svobodová, Eliška ; Dvořák, Vít (advisor) ; Brzoňová, Jana (referee)
Sand flies are small two-winged important as carriers of various pathogens, such as parasitic protozoa of the genus Leishmania or viruses of the genus Phlebovirus. Leishmaniasis is a parasitic disease with various clinical forms and affects 700,000 to 1 million people every year. There are 20-25 species of sand flies belonging to the genera Phlebotomus and Sergentomyia in Europe, mainly in the Mediterranean region. However, due to climate and environmental change, various species of sand flies are spreading to other European countries located to the north of the Mediterranean Sea. Knowledge of the spatial distribution of sand flies is essential for assessing the risks of transmission of diseases in different regions of Europe. This bachelor tries to summarise current knowledge about current and future changes in sand fly distribution in Europe. Key words: phlebotomus, sand fly, Europe, distribution, vector, Phlebotomus, Sergentomyia, Mediterranean area, area outside the Mediterranean, leishmaniasis, Leishmania
Potential vectors of leishmaniases in southeastern Asia
Mandysová, Adéla ; Dvořák, Vít (advisor) ; Vojtková, Barbora (referee)
Leishmaniasis are neglected tropical diseases caused by intracellular protozoan parasites of the genus Leishmania. They are transmitted by blood feeding phlebotomine sandflies (Diptera: Psychodidae). The disease occurs in many parts of the world, including southeastern Asia. Recently, the number of human leishmaniasis cases have been increasing in this region. Leishmania martiniquenis and L. orientalis of the subgenus Mundinia are the causative agents of cutaneous and visceral leishmaniasis, L. donovani and L. infantum are the causative agents only of visceral leishmaniasis (also known as kala-azar) here. Domestic animals may serve as natural reservoirs, suggesting their role in zoonotic cycle. Although the fauna of phlebotomine sandflies in this area is rich, no species has yet been proven as a vector of the disease. Recent studies suggest that other groups of insects in the southeastern Asia could transmit the diasease. The potential vectors could be females of the genus Sergentomyia (Diptera: Psychodidae) and also biting midges of the genus Culicoides (Diptera: Ceratopogonidae). Key words: sand fly, leishmaniasis, vector, southeastern Asia, Thailand
