Design of universal motortester for car servis
Vařeka, Libor ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this dissertation is to focus on the systems design of a multi purpose engine tester, a device for diagnostic techniques of self propelled motor vehicles to be used in a car mechanics work shop. The principle aim is to combine a permanently installed PC, a portable laptop and a workshop trolley containing all the necessary assembly tools and accessories. These three pieces used together will serve as a self contained unit within the workshop. I will compare the quality of the devices with others on the market. I will talk about the layout of the individual parts such as the design, structure and shape of the unit, as well as the ergonomics of the designed pieces. An important factor will be reducing the size of the device without compromising the quality and keeping it a similar price to other similar products on the market.
Design of Personal Water Craft
Semrád, David ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is the application of ideas to achieve innovation and modernization in the field of design of submersible personal watercraft. Another aim is to show the own creative activity and the ability to move an object from the field of functionality to the field of aesthetics, ergonomics and practicality at an affordable verified techniques, current manufacturing technologies and materials.
Design of Panoramic Dental X-ray Machine
Juráňová, Zuzana ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is design of a panoramic X-ray. The main contribution is a new view on ergonomics of operator and a possibility of seating for patient. The aim is to create a device with innovative seating incorporated into the supporting leg of the machine, and to improve an ergonomics of machine manipulation. But it is also necessary to maintain all the technical, ergonomic, aesthetic and environmental requirements. The final draft should be able compete with existing products on the market.
Design of Semi-autonomous Lawnmower
Górová, Simona ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The main purpose of this work was to design a semi-autonomous lawn mower powered by an electric motor powered by rechargeable batteries. In addition to providing safe and comfortable operation with manual control, another objective was to add features to enable autonomous control. In order to achieve a suitable design that suits the machine's function, technical conditions and aesthetic requirements, a full enclosure of the machine was chosen, which is not common in current models on the market. In addition to the classic attributes such as the standing platform, handles and controls, a screen has been added that can be removed and used as an external display when the machine is running autonomously. Emphasis was also placed on ergonomics and eliminating elements in the handling plane to provide greater clarity and space for the operator. This has been achieved in particular by replacing the operating movable handles with static joysticks with buttons. The thesis describes selected products on the current market, some technical solutions, possible alternatives and the design itself. The design of the product is proposed to the extent that it is possible to encompass it without detailed knowledge of the individual disciplines (such as electrical engineering, computer and computer technology, etc.).

Design of a Houseboat
Csadiová, Dominika ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The topic of the master thesis is the design of a floating house. Product responds to the current global problems, especially the consequences of global warming and population growth. Rising sea levels are a factor that negatively affects several areas, mainly cities near the coastline. In combination with population growth, the possibility of moving dwellings to the water surface can be an attractive solution. The master thesis also aims at environmental friendliness, emission reduction and the use of alternative energy sources. Nowdays, houseboats on the water are very popular, but are mostly used only for recreation. The master thesis presents a design of a floating house for year-round living on the seas and oceans for 2 to 3 people.
Design of the Air conditioning unit for additive robotic fabrication
Mandáková, Adéla ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The design of air conditioning unit is based on combination of the product itself and related architecture. The large-scale 3D printing is becoming more and more popular, that is why this thesis chose additive manufacturing robotic technology for designing the air conditioner. According to analysis the air distribution through perforations is the most convenient one for an indoor unit. An outdoor unit tends to be hidden because of inhomogeneity with the building. To obtain more variant studies for the design a generative process was applied. This method was applied also later on, because additive manufacturing is able to easily change dimension parameters and thus fulfil individual customer requests. Other advantages of robotic printing are the lattice structures that enable perforation manufacturing without waste and the possibility of using generative design methods.
Design of Personal Submarines for Scientific Expeditions
Král, Ondřej ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is design of a personal submarine for scientific purposes. The main goal is to solve analysed problems, meet the technical requirements, adequate ergonomic solution and morphology for the environment in which the vessel will be employed.
Design of a working exoskeleton
Kasarová, Dominika ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
Design, exoskeleton, overhead work, fatigue, human body, musculoskeletal disorder
Design of Light Agricultural Tractor
Oulehla, Jakub ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The subject of this diploma is the design of a versatile light agricultural tractor. The design of the tractor will focus on timeless design. The proposed tractor will also differ from the current competition in the field of light agricultural tractors. The resulting tractor will also be usable outside agriculture, in horticulture or communal services.
