Using Solar Energy for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

This thesis is dealing with the usage of solar energy for cooling and air-conditioning. Notification of the quantity of solar power which incidents to the Earth, types of solar power collector and discribes systems which are applicable for cooling and air-conditioning. Next part deal with calculation and proposal of combined system for warming-up domestic hot water, heating a bit more and cooling. In the last part I solve the capital expenditure and system´s economic return.

Analysis of Regional Distribution of Investment of Venture Capital

The study analyzes and assesses regional distribution of investment activity of venture capital. Primarily it is searching regional differences of the market of venture capital and its factors. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. First, the theoretical part explains terms connected to venture capital. It then describes the anterior studies in geographic field and its focus and finally evaluates possibilities of modern state to develop market of venture capital and its regional distribution. The second part of the study is represented by empirical analysis of the market of venture capital in Europe and in selected countries. It concludes by comparing the relation between amount of venture capital investments, its value and value of selected variables in Spanish regions. Research from the Czech Republic is represented by SWOT analysis and interview research with representatives from venture capital sector. In addition, there are presented and described example projects from Czech Republic and Spain focused on funding seed and start-up businesses.

Evaluation of surgical treatment of hip joint with diagnosis of femoroacetabular impingement syndrom.

Title: The evaluation of surgical treatment of the hip in the diagnosis of femor- acetabular impingement syndrome. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to evaluate the effect of the surgery of the hip in diagnosis of femor-acetabular hip impingement. Methods: In our work we have cooperated with 103 patients who have been operated on hip with the diagnosis of femor-acetabular hip impingement (FAI). We used standardized questionnaires of WOMAC and NAHS, which assesses functional self- care, limitations in motion and painfulness. Patients completed questionnaires twice. For the first time before surgery and second time at least one year after the surgery. The specimens of questionnaire are attached in the Annex. Results: We found out that postoperative condition is significantly different from the preoperative state in terms of improved self-care, increased range of motion and reduction of painfulness. Foot and ankle kinematics in patients with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome

Femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAI) is a hip impairment, which is according to recent studies significant contributor to hip osteoarthritis. Current research is dedicated to evaluate movement patterns of hip, pelvis and spine in patients with FAI using a motion analysis capture system. Biomechanics and kinesiology relations between spino-pelvic complex and lower limb joints led us to choose the topic of this thesis. The goal of this study was to define the movements of ankle and foot in patients with FAI syndrome and to compare with asymptomatic control group. To measure the parameters during gait we used Qualisys motion capture system and then the data were processed in Qualisys Track Manager 2020.03. We assessed the movements of ankle, rearfoot and the progression foot angle during the stance phase of gait cycle. Moreover, we measured the step length, gait speed and passive range of motion of the hip in both exploratory groups. In total we examinated 30 subjects, 15 with FAI syndrome and 15 asymptomatic volunteers with physiologic hip condition. We demonstrated three significant between group changes in average ankle range of motion in sagittal plane, foot progression angle and passive range of motion of the hip.

There are described parameters of power supplies and methods of measurement using the electronic load Agilent 6063B. The measurement process will be automated by using a program created in an environment LabWiew.

The formation of regional innovation system in Zlin region

The thesis called "Formation of the regional innovation system in Zlin Region" in the theoretical part presents a conception of the regional innovation systems of which principle is support of creation of innovations based on participation and mutual learning proceedings of a wide range of regional participants and with those related conceptions. In the empirical part there is the Regional innovation strategy (further RS) analysed, respectively as a developing strategic document (i.e. fact and methodically aspect), also as a tool supporting the development of the regional innovation systems. Secondly, the subject of interest are participants of the institutional research and development infrastructure, their activities and mutual relationships. The conclusion of this thesis points at a positive progress during past years in the field of the Zlin region innovation environment (implementation of RS, the creation of innovation infrastructure or the existing activities supporting the creation of innovations, etc.). In comparison with the conception RIS features the Zlin RIS with serious undevelopment.
