Supervision focused on the preachers of CB

The diploma thesis aims to find such a form, focus, and way of conducting supervision in which the preachers of the Church of the Brethren (CB) could obtain what they need for their vocation, and the diploma thesis aims personal growth. To achieve this goal, it is important to understand the CB preacher in his environment and his needs so that supervision can be "tailored" to him. The theoretical part of this work aims to explore and describe the starting point, which is the organization of the CB and the profession of a preacher with all its aspects affecting his service. It also describes the conceptual and organizational framework of the case study and clarifies the starting points on which the supervisor is based. It deals with the concepts of supervision, reflexivity and a safe environment in supervision. The practical part in the form of an extended case study of three groups of preachers describes the process of introducing supervision for CB preachers. Differences and Similarities between TSTS Model Therapy and Supervision.

Bc. Hedvika Kubicová Černá UK FHS Fakulta humanitních studií 42245792 Abstract This thesis is focused on the application boundaries of the transformation systemic therapy in supervision. The review section describes the general background of the Satir model and the basis of therapy theory and supervision theory. It deals with the general level of therapy and supervision boundaries. The methodological part includes a description of the grounded theory used to obtain data from informants, supervisors working according to the TSTS model. In addition, a supplementary questionnaire quantitative survey was used to determine how supervisants who got an experience with therapy perceive the boundaries between the therapy and the supervision. The analytical part starts with providing the insight into how supervisors educated in the Growth model understand the differentiation of therapy and supervision boundaries and how they use the TSTS techniques. Further it is supplemented with our findings as to what supervisants expect to gain in supervision, and which methods they refuse and consider to cross the boundary between the therapy and supervision. Albin Braf, Founder of the Czech Social School

The principal objective of the rigorosum thesis is to explain in detail the personality of an influential economist, pedagogue and politician, Professor Albin Braf (1851-1912), and his influence on the solution of pressing social issues of his time. The work captures Braf's professional and intellectual development associated with theoretical literary activity and practical needs of the era in which the attraction to social issues constituted a permanent part of his political and academic career. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on Braf's share in establishing important public institutions and theoretical preparations of social legislation concerning so- called labour issues and social insurance. Finally, the thesis illustrates Braf's academic practice which later resulted in the successful work of Winter, Preiss, Rašín, Engliš, Macek and Gruber, his scholars. In the period of the First Republic, those mentioned above represented the second generation of "Czech social school", with Braf being one of its founders. The following part concentrates on the influence of Rerum Novarum, the first social Papal encyclical, on Braf's social thinking and attitudes concerning the development of social insurance regulations. A qualitative research study inspired by the grounded theory method, analyzing four semi- structured interviews with experienced, psychodynamically oriented supervisors, concerning the possibility of differentiating unconscious phenomena in the supervision of helping professionals, based on the diagnosis of assisted clients. The study is closely focused on the manifestations of supervisors in unconscious processes in supervision, working with people with borderline personality disorder. Introducing Clinical Supervision into Health Care Organization: The Supervisees' Point of View. Case Study

Clinical supervision as a discipline supporting the quality of work in the field of helping professions has lately been introduced in healthcare services. In this context its implementation is being met with specific obstacles coming from both management and the workers tending to the clients or patients. This thesis is focused on the view of nurses working in residential facility tending primarily to children under the age of three. It contains a case study which first assesses the situation prior to starting the supervision process, mainly some aspects of organizational culture and the risks of burnout syndrome, which may reveal both possible obstacles and favourable circumstances during the implementation process. Following is a course description of the supervision meetings lasting throughout one year and the thesis is capped off by another partial research of the situation in this organization after said year focused primarily on the changes and reception of clinical supervision by its participants. Although certain foreseen obstacles such as shift work and hierarchical management have been confirmed, supervision was acknowledged for it's beneficial effect by the nurses. (in English): My diploma work is specifically focused on social workers' task who tried the most to give help and support to tuberculous people and their families between 1930 and 1945. The target of this diploma thesis is to capturing a description of social work activities in the treatment of tuberculosis in our country in years 1930-1945, through the magazine called The Fight Against Tuberculosis published by the Masaryk league against tuberculosis This nagazine dealt with this illness and everything which was related with it. Theoretical part defines key terms like social work, tuberculosis, special depatments focused on treatment of tuberculosis. Other part of work specifically describes history of social workers'education, their practise, social work with families and as well as multidisciplinary cooperation. My work contains practical part too. It is about content analysis.
Changes in foster care in our country until 1989

The diploma thesis captures the genesis of foster care in our territory from the beginning to 1989. Emphasis is placed on important historical milestones that have influenced the development of foster care. The aim of the work is based on the comparison of analyzed historical documents with the findings contained in secondary sources focused on the procedures of the foster care subjects of the time to find out how this care was provided in that period, and thus expand the current state of research. Action Research: implementation of supervision of the network of services for vulnerable children and families in Chrudim

The main objective of my work was to transparently capture the process of implementation of provision of network supervision in Chrudim through the action research method. The theoretical part has been dedicated to the description of supervision as one of important tools for professional growth of workers in helping professions. Experiences with the provision of interdisciplinary supervision in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic were described. The second part of the theoretical section was focused on interdisciplinary cooperation in the Czech Republic, specifically cooperation within the network of services for vulnerable children and families in Chrudim. In the research I used the method of action research, which is about dialogue and cooperation of all research participants. Action research investigation stems from everyday practice and aims to find the best solution to a given problem at local level. I used the methods of observation, self-research, focus groups and semi-structured interviews to obtain data. Research participants were employees of the Department of Social and Legal Protection and workers from non-profit organizations from Chrudim and its surroundings.
