Diagnostics of school readiness in elementary school
Benešová, Martina ; Felcmanová, Lenka (advisor) ; Kotvová, Miroslava (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with a field of school readiness, its components and how the diagnostics of this area takes place when enrolling children in the first class at grammar schools. An inseparable part is the characteristic of child's development in preschool and early school age. The main objective of this thesis is to determine the extent to which a special education teacher's management may influence the quality of the enrolment process and whether this fact is reflected in the diagnostic materials and overall coverage in the areas of school readiness. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical section outlines the characteristics of key periods beyond the area of school readiness - preschool and early school age. Furthermore, the terms such as school readiness and school preparedness are being defined. School readiness is examined in more detail; individual components which are related to diagnostics are presented. In the field of diagnostics we focus on individual available test materials, which are currently mostly used to diagnose school readiness. The practical part focuses on qualitative research, specifically a method of semi-structured interview has been chosen. The interview was conducted within six schools including six respondents. Language management of selected phenomena in Common Czech
Benešová, Martina ; Nekvapil, Jiří (advisor) ; Havlík, Martin (referee)
(in English) Language management of selected phenomena in Common Czech The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out, whether the phenomena of Common Czech are being influenced by language management, when it happens and to which extent. To a major extent, the work is of an empirical character. The major theoretical and methodological sources are the book by James Wilson Moravians in Prague and article by Jiří Neustupný Sociolingvistika a jazykový management. The major objective of the work is to link the methodology with the theoretical findings in the areas of language management and variation sociolinguistics. The book by Wilson will serve as a source of information for the sociolinguistic part. For the analysis, I have selected the same linguistic phenomena as Wilson did, in particular the following ones: A) phonological ones: 1) V-insertion; 2) É-raising; 3) Ý-diphtongization and B) grammatical ones: 4) paradigm unification (by third, fourth and fifth verb class); 5) L-truncation (by first and second verb class); 6) gender neutralisation. These selected phenomena will be studied based on the language used by the lecturers during their lectures of non-linguistic subjects of study at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Charles University in Prague (FF UK). The following methodological approach...

Název práce: Metodiky Solvency II v životním pojištění Autor: Martina Benešová Katedra (ústav): Katedra pravděpodobnosti a matematické statistiky Vedoucí bakalářské práce: RNDr. Klíčová slova: solventnost, Solvency II, kapitálové požadavky, riziko storen Title: The methods of Solvency II for life insurance Author: Martina Benešová Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Pavel...
Significance of nongover mental organizations in human life with multiplex sclerosis
Benešová, Martina ; Mužáková, Monika (advisor) ; Mlčková, Marie (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with people with multiple sclerosis and services that these people can largely improve the quality of life. Multiple sclerosis is a disease that affects mostly young people and is therefore very possibly feared disease. The major objective of this thesis is to determine the role played by non- governmental organizations in the lives of human with multiple sclerosis, the extent of this possibility using the services and patients know whether they do so. The work is devided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the problems in terms of its history, causes, symptoms and course of different types of disease. There are, two organizations that follow up with the problem of multiple sclerosis. There is also outlined what is their activity that may influence on satisfying the needs of people with multiple sclerosis is part of the empirical survey, which was found to what extent the quality of life of people with multiple sclerosis and...
Bifunctional ligands for copper(II) complexation
Benešová, Martina ; Kotek, Jan (advisor) ; Kozempel, Ján (referee)
Title: Bifunctional ligands for copper(II) complexation Author: Bc. Martina Benešová Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Jan Kotek, Ph.D. Institution: Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Science, CU in Prague Author's e-mail: EvaGlaser@seznam.cz ABSTRACT The main aim of this thesis was preparation of macrocyclic ligands based on 1,4,8,11- tetraazacyclotetradecane skeleton, which is suitable for selective complexation of divalent copper, and study of their properties. These ligands are suggested for potential utilization in nuclear medicine. Cyclam macrocycle was modified to bear one coordinating aminobenzylphospinate pendant arm (compound L1) or monophosphinate-bis(phosphonate) pendant arm (compound L2). During the synthesis, the skeleton was protected in positions 1, 4 and 8. In the frame of this work the synthesis of both targeted products was developed. Furthermore, a study of the thermodynamic, kinetic and coordination properties of ligand L2 was investigated by UV/VIS spectrophotometry and potentiometric titrations. A model bioconjugation of ligand L1 with primary amine was also studied. KEYWORDS Cyclam, phosphinates, phosphonates, nuclear medicine, copper(II) complexes, kinetic inertness, thermodynamic stability.
Bifunctional ligands for copper(II) complexation
Benešová, Martina ; Kotek, Jan (advisor) ; Lorenc, Miroslav (referee)
The main aim of this thesis was preparation of makrocyclic ligand based on 1,4,8,11- tetraazacyklotetradecane skeleton, which is suitable for selective complexation of divalent copper. Cyclam macrocycle bears one weakly coordinating aminobenzylphospinate pendant arm (compound L). During the synthesis was the skeleton asymmetrically protected in positions 1,4 and 8. Attachment of phospinate pendant arm was tried with the corresponding Mannich reaction of ethyl or bis(trimethylsilyl) esters 4-nitrobenzylphosphinic acid and alkylation using mesyl ester derived from hydroxomethyl(4-nitrobenzyl)phosphinic acid (benzyl O- methylsulfonylhydroxymethyl(4-nitrobenzyl)phosphinate). In the frame of this work the synthesis of the targeted product was developed. Reproducibility was also verified for synthesis of cyclam and its asymmetrical protection in three positions. Furthermore, a study of the kinetics of de-protection of cyclam skeleton and pendant arm using basic and acid hydrolysis was done. NHNH NH N P O NH2 OH ( L ) KEYWORDS Cyclam, phosphinates, nuclear medicine, copper(II) complexes.
PNF technique after arthroscopic stabilization of the shoulder
Benešová, Martina ; Holubářová, Jiřina (advisor) ; Pavlů, Dagmar (referee)
Title: PNF technique after arthroscopic stabilization of the shoulder joint Objectives: The objective of this work is to consider the possibility of use of the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation technique (PNF) in early stages of rehabilitation after arthroscopic stabilization of the shoulder joint. The idea is to use the phenomen of irradiation with which this concept works. Methods: The pilot experimental group consisted of 7 healthy participants with simulated arthroscopic stabilization of the left shoulder joint. The electromyography was used to record the electric activity of musculus trapezius pars descendens, pars transversa et pars ascendens, musculus deltoideus pars acromialis, musculus infraspinatus and musculus pectoralis major pars sternocostalis on the immobilized left arm; while using the PNF technique on the peripheral parts of the immobilised arm; and on the contra lateral arm. A 5s sequence of stabilised isometric contraction was analysed and all data further normalised to Maximal Voluntary Contraction (MVC). Considering the literature the 20% increase above the MVC was defined as substantial to assure sufficient functional capacity of the muscle fibres and therefore sufficient to stop muscle atrophy during immobilisation of the arm. Results: Results of this study support...
