The Parents' view on the current problems of pre-school care

My thesis "The Parents' view on the current problems of pre-school care", focuses on the problem of raising number of unsatisfied applications of placing children in the kindergartens. It deals also with the problems with joint of parents' careers and family life, which are caused by refused applications of placing. Year by year there is raising excess demand. The pre-school care established by state is a tool which helps parents to harmonize their work and family role. It has been done a research using a method of semi-structured interviews with parents of children at the pre-school age and with headmasters of public kindergartens. It has been recognized two main reasons why parents prefer the placement in the public kindergartens to other alternatives of pre-school care. The main reasons were child's socialization in a group and financial accessibility for parents. The alternatives of pre-school care were not preferred among parents, because they are expensive and parents mostly don't trust them. Because of refused application they stayed at home with child, they did not return to their work. Bachelor thesis "Child Poverty" deals with poverty of children in the Czech Republic compared to European Union. The theoretical part defines poverty conceptions, social exclusion and circle of poverty. It deals with types of measurements used for defining poverty threshold and crucial factors determining deprivation. Further it describes social transfers eliminating child poverty and the whole population. Second part deals with at- risk-of-poverty rate of children in the Czech Republic and the EU in past few years. Thesis describes impact of social transfers on eliminating child poverty. Thesis contains SWOT analysis of social policies reducing child poverty in the Czech Republic.
Health stats of unemployed older workers (case study of the district of Teplice)

The thesis "Health state of the unemployed older workers" deals with the problem of relationship between health state and unemployement of older workers. The aging of population and extention of the productive age brings the question: Will people working in all types of professions able to work such a long time? Threfore the objective of those thesis has been the deeper understanding of the relationship between social determinants of health, actual health state and ability to find a job on a labour market in connection to older workers. The case study has been a chosen research design and one of their objectives has been a testing of the combination of chosen methods. The research is based on combination of three methods: the analysis of the structure of the unemployed, questionnaires with the use of EuroQol questionairie and the interwiews with the unemployed. The thesis should also contribute opening the discussion about the impacts of the social determinants of health for the health state of older workers. And also how health state influences their chances on the labour market. The thesisi also notice the health inequalities and their possible cosequences and opens the discussion about the possible ways of solutions.

This thesis is mapping current situation in the area of consumer lending, shows main reasons and impacts of overindebtedness and also its connetion to consumer lending. The target is to suggest appropriate regulation to lower the rate of overindebtedness, that exists in this area due to the absence of regulation in the area of consumer lending in Czech republic. Suggested regulation insures higher consumer protection and compact rules for all the partcipants on the consumer lending market. It also collects complex information about clients and their debt ratio. It has advantages for all participants.
Capabilities and bariers in social worker's profession in Usti region

This theses, called "Chances and restrains in social worker's profession in Ústí region" is dealing with social worker's profession in self-government context. It's setting off social workers from non-profit organizations. During beginning it's talking about theoretical basis, inevitably bound with social work's field, with focusing on social worker as part of assisting profession. It is, in particular, about opportunities or on the contrary about restrains/limits/barriers, which affects this field of specific self- governing area - Štětí city. Concretely it is about participants, which have here influence on life of local people/potential clients. All under surveillance of superior agency - higher self-government area - social work's methodologists of Ústí region. Research part of this thesis is based on semi-structured interview of previously mentioned participants, which gives overlook how each and every one of them sees limitations in practical social work's overlooks.
